Sharon, who is performing COVID testing at this location, doesnt like the job she has and I would recommend she be relieved of her duties. After waiting a week for my scheduled Covid test, I went to the drive-thru lane as directed for my test and was told there that none of the directions I had been receiving over the last week were actually correct or how they actually do the testing there. We were told where to go and did so. Theres a little tiny shack that you are to go into after tons of other people have been inside removing masks for testing instead of being to self administer like I signed up for and was directed. Sharon, decided that she was going to have an attitude because I was late after going to the wrong side of the building, and that she was going to just be as rude as inhumanly possible and then refuse to let us get our test! She didnt have time for answering questions. Im sorry, I should be able to ask ANY question AND have it answered where my health is concerned. Im livid! Sharon shouldnt be in this line of work! Sharon wasnt wearing her own mask when I entered the tiny shack to get her name that she refused to give my husband and slammed the door in his face when he asked for it. Its disgusting that this is the woman they have chosen to run testing at this site. Despicable. Ms Sharon, you definitely do not belong anywhere near healthcare or anything associated with it. Do NOT go here!
Scheduled for my vaccine shots and online process was easy. Even scheduled both appointments at the same time. Got a notification reminder and was able to check in from my phone. Unfortunately, though I received a text and email to fill out a screening form, which I did, when I arrived they made me fill it out again. What a waste of time for me to fill it out online. Pointless to have to do that.The Dr. was nice enough. My first shot was easy as well though I did have to wait to be sure there werent adverse reactions. The Dr. who did that shot was very nice.
They greeted me at the door and treated me like a human being, the store was perfectly clean and organized; no cluttered aisles and everything was where it was labeled and supposed to be. My purchase was less expensive than I estimated it would be. The manager was very engaged with customers because the cashier was helping someone with a difficult return. Great job guys. I feel like CVS was friendlier that other pharmacies and I think they are cheaper.
I work in the healthcare field but have held off on getting vaccinated till it was fully FDA approved. Today I saw that CVS offered “walk-in” appointments for the Covid vaccine so I went after I got off work. Waited in line…spoke to the Pharmacist only to be told I had to get there before 4:00 to be vaccinated. Disappointed.
If I could give a 0 that what the unprofessional Pharmacy staff would get. It unacceptable when a patient drop off his/her prescription early on Thursday 8/26/21 after 3 days I heard nothing for that corrupt cvs on 1001 528 NM HWY Rio Rancho NM 87124. I had to drive to CVS 3 days later to find out what happened with my prescription! I drove to drive through the 1st employees seen to have no idea so another employee stated to me my prescription wasnt ready! I asked her why she momma something I asked CVS staff why no one contacted me because I was on the phone with my Dr staff twice on Friday 8/27/21 I could have related any issues with my Dr staffs so they could find out what the issue was. The 2nd employees state to me at drive through window she sent.y prescription through! I call CVS complaints line made a complaints on 8/29/21 It Monday I still dont have my prescription!! I waited until midnight 12AM Tues 8/31/21 to call corrupt cvs I on hold on the phone until 1:35AM listen to sleeping wave 🌊 music! So I try another option by calling back input that I was a medical provider hoping someone would answer the phone still no one at corrupt cvs would answer the phone! This CVS is a 24ht pharmacy Why! No one ever outside that late in morning but Hobo and homeless heroine and met addicts car theft Thanks God I am not from NM I through I have seen and worked with lazy lying incompetent people my life time NM are the worst! It not all the NM people are lazy the majority 70% is! As much money I spent in that cvs and it pharmacy will never get any business from me! Im tired of the lazy incompetent employees in NM majority of the people from NM 70% have the neve to be rasical on top of been lazy! I can see why people who arent not from NM and the common sense people who from NM and illegal immigrants say NM is like a 3rd world country! People who arent from NM when applying for jobs with years of work experience experience complaints they have to always take employees tests you see Why! Advice majority of the people from NM dont like people from other states and NM is not diversity!
Store is always clean. Staff is okay. Never extremely helpful and sorta nice. They just get the job done. Prices are crazy high! If you don’t have a coupon plan on spending 2x the amount. I go there only when I have to. If Walgreens or Target is out of something. I’d go more often if staff was more welcoming and helpful. If I’ve ever asked them for help they usually just holler the isle it’s on from behind their register.However I do want to say the covid testing was amazing. Those ladies were extremely nice, understanding and not judgmental. Anytime family needed to be tested I recommend CVS. I also helped some family find appointments at this location. Very impressed. I personally got tested here twice.
Terrible customer service.. the girl behind the counter was rudely tapping her fingers as if she did not want us in the store at night all though its a 24hr store. As I was shopping around for the things I needed she told my boyfriend that we are timed and have been in the store too long. She stated its a store policy that we only have 5 minutes to be in the store. There are no signs or information about this policy posted and it was quite rude! I will be switching pharmacies due to the rude customer service.. I am a hard working person and a paying customer my kids and I got our prescriptions here but after being treated as Im some scumb who has 5 minutes I will be taking our business to Walgreens across the street. This happened at 2:45 am Monday July 19th..
Open 24hrs and theyll take your money alright but you cannot use the bathroom after a 10pm. No thank you, left my pile of items and never to return. My bladder thanks you,CVS.
My husband has a medical exemption from our doctor stating he does not have to wear a mask due to a medical condition that he has. The supposed manager in the pharmacy discriminated against my husband and proceeded to say doctors dont give out medical exemptions and he had to wear a mask or they would not help him. Also want to add he did not want to see the doctors note.
Love the employees, nick is a real one, love the new self checn out, hate the rest of the layout, and whats with the random beeping its very scary. good products and good times are to be had here.no idea about prescriptions though the only drugsbi get here is good old fashioned alcohol, my friends. get a pint with me some time.
The pharmacy will not answer their phone. I will literally have to drive over there to talk to a pharmacist. Ive called day after day and Im on hold for 30-45mins before I give up.
They have their own parking facility.
As we are from out of state, staying in Rio Rancho my husband needed emergency meds he left at home. The pharmacist, Brian was extremely helpful in assisting us in getting the meds. This CVS had always provided the best service both now and in the past. Highly commend the staff. Thank you.
Poor customer service, I got turned away for my second Covid shot. When I went to get my first shot was told I can walk in from 8 to 5 for my second shot, nope! Some lady in the back yelled out they stop taking walk ins at 4 when I went back. I will take my business elsewhere.
Update about 1 year later: Raising number of stars to 4, The store seems to have improved a lot, possibly because of the complaints and the better COVID 19 situation. The clinic ran on time when some family members went there recently. There are chairs to wait (at safe distance). The employees are very courteous. Even during the immunizations the store appeared well organized. I am deleting the previous negative review as it no longer seems to apply. The selection of items (cosmetic, vitamins, etc.) is good and the pharmacists are competent and courteous. I am not giving 5 stars because the prices are a bit high.
Rio Rancho 528 has the worst customer service. In person and on phone. 👎🏻👎🏻
I love CVS but the one in RioRancho is horrible. I have consistant mistakes over the years how hard is it to fill the right priscrciption. Every month I have to yell at these unprofessional employees. I just got off the phone yelling. I will be down there in a few minutes upset again. Going over same mistake they keep making. This has been going on for over 3 years. I have to report them to the pharmaceutical board they are not well trained knowledge and extremely lazy employees.
I got greeted at the door! Enjoyed being treated nicely. The store was very clean, and there was very little clutter around the building/isles. A very nice pharmacy that is open 24/hrs and a nice alternative to other pharmacies nearby.
Not one friendly staff member in the whole store. Went to get a covid test since they have multiple signs all over the parking lot yet no instructions whatsoever on where to go. So I went inside to ask at the minute clinic where the rude third rate female “doctor” asked if I could even read. Classy. On way out I complained to manager and he didn’t even reply. I still have no idea how to get tested there but was taken care of at a competitor down the road 10 mins later.
The service at this location is DEPLORABLE!!! Especially if you deal with Lionel in pharmacy or Ed the store manager. This isnt because of a pandemic but because they dont care anything at all about customers. Theyre rude and make going into the store a HORRIBLE experience. Take your business elsewhere this store is the WORST!!!
Gave them 4 hours to fill my script, when I get there they say they didn’t fill it because I had no insurance... not sure why it was not filled when I run on no insurance. Waited 20 minutes after to have it filled with no one in line or drive through, I come back in line for them to say it’s still not ready . I’ve worked at Walgreens pharmacy and we never made our customers wait when it was supposed to be filled already. Given this was a small prescription as well. Left without medication and in pain because I had to go, expecting to have my medications
The pharmacy staff aren’t great but the nurse practitioner is wonderful which, for me, makes up for it. She is incredibly nice and was interested in getting to know me. The appointment didn’t take long but it was thorough which was great.
Friendly, Knowledgeable staff, great customer service. Very helpful with prescriptions. Clean and bright.2021.08.05 - after many years using this pharmacy I will add that the staff is amazing and even more helpful than I thought originally. The free delivery is a godsend. Theres no reason to go anywhere else. I must take a picture some day :)
This cvs location is amazing . Very Christ like environment . Very kind people . I always use Walgreens and had to use this cvs one day . Now I only want to use this cvs at this location . The manager here is doing a very good job with their staff and store . I’m always impressed when I go here every time!
Ive been called twice that a prescription I have no knowledge of is ready for pick up. I was not informed by my doctor that there was a need for or that an RX was called in for me. Im trying to clear it up with the pharmacy directly. Unfortunately Ive been on hold for 18:09 minutes AND COUNTING. Ill give it another 5 then Im hanging up. Hope this RX isnt actually for someone in need.

Absolute worst pharmacy! And I have been a loyal CVS customer for more than a decade. They fill Rxs incorrectly, send texts that a prescription is ready and then I show up to get it and they cant even find it. I went home one time with a prescription that had NO LABEL!!
The staff has always been friendly and helpful to me. I just wish they were closer to my house.

This location has lost my business. Ive had absolute hell trying to get a Rx refilled... Its been one issue after another - on top of lying to me. Im done. I need my Rx every month to function, but this is month #2 of me going without. Its a damn good thing its not a life or death situation!
HORRIBLE pharmacy. Not one customer in drive up or at the counter, 4 employees (1 of which was playing on her phone by minute clinic). They don’t answer phone. When they do they place you on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnect the call. Very rude and completely oblivious to the world around them.. what a shame.Was a huge cvs fan until I saw a jam packed Walgreens pharmacy rocking out customers left and right. I was impressed with Walgreens. No wonder everyone was there and not at cvs.

WORST pharmacy ever. My son has a traumatic brain injury and has to take his medication daily. I have been trying to get his refill for 3 days but the staff is so ignorant they cant figure out how to process his insurance. I have given them his info 3 times and yet I still havent been able to get his medication, meanwhile he is suffering at home. The staff is rude and treats you poorly. I have state insurance and they treat me like scum because I am low income. Well when you are battling cancer and raising a child with a brain injury and a dead husband it makes it hard to maintain a steady income. So they have no right judging anyone for they do not know their circumstances. So I guess we will have another night of misery with my son thanks to the staff at CVS pharmacy. Go some where else if you have the choice

Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They dont care about customers. I was told to be quiet by the pharmacy manager after they only filled half of my script and it wasnt made known it was a partial fill. They just screwed up and never apologized
I have had a few problems at the pharmacy but they were always due to the Doctors office and not the pharmacy itself. The people I have dealt with in the pharmacy and throughout the store are extremely friendly and helpful.
Understaffed! Also hold times are 30 minutes or more. Then when you do get someone, they dont know anything. They take your number and never call you back. I waited over a week for some prescriptions, never got a call, so I started calling left my info twice and NEVER got called back. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOU NEED ANY KIND OF SERVICE!!!
Bad experience right off the bat. After 5 minutes of hearing them talk about the gym and not acknowleding us standing there so I shopped and came back. And when they finally started to do their job they asked me if I had insurance assuming I didnt instead of just asking for insurance. After showing insurance information they couldnt even of that step without issues to the point I asked to pay out of pocket just to get out of there. Then they only had one week of prescription instead of two weeks so now Im forced to unfortunately go back once they get the other half. All this comes down to how the pharmacy manager lets things fly around there as they seem to not really care. The one star is for the store being clean but the pharmacy staff ruined the remaining stars. Avoid this place if you can or see for yourself why theyre rated so low.
I made an appointment with the Minute Clinic, arrived a few minutes early. Just as we got here the provider was leaving for lunch. I was told that we would need to wait 30 minutes. Why make an appointment???? Poor customer service!
I shop at cvs all the time and it’s the first time I’ve experience a racist worker. I’m a black woman, who went to pick up a few items at night. The moment I entered an old white lady with grey long hair kept following me the entire time I was shopping. Every time I moved to an isle the lady kept coming near me pretending she was working. I felt so uncomfortable that I couldn’t continue shopping and went to check out. I told the women at the checkout, they apologize but, im never going back there.
Weve been loyal customers of this CVS for several years and for the life of me, I cant figure out why. Picking up a prescription has always been difficult. Either its never ready or they lose it. I think I might have only ever had one good experience here. Actually, all of my experiences with the store have been great, but I dont come here for the shopping. And the worst part of it is that the pharmacy employees always have attitude with us. They either treat us like the idiots or they get super defensive. Ive had enough and Im going to make sure that todays painful visit remains my last.
I have had poor service since the first day they opened. Dont call them they will put you on ignore and not come back. Every time I visit them to get a prescription they give me a hard time. They question the Doctors prescription directions. They think they know better than the Doctor. I will be changing over to Walgreens as soon as I can. Ive had it with this snotty bunch.

Good store, pharmaceutical on the other hand is disorganized. Text you prescriptions are ready. So when you go and ask if there are any others to pick up, they say no, then you get text next day that you have another prescription to pickup. Whats with that?
I have been going to this cvs for years when Walgreens could never get out prescriptions correct. The store is imaculate and I have never been treated rudely. The clerks are pleasant and helpful. Prescriptions are on time and the pharmacists and staff are willing to answer any questions
They used to have their own brand of merchandise that used to be cheaper now they dont the prices are higher the Walgreens I hope the would bring their brand back

I get up at the ass crack of dawn to pick up my prescription before work and youve lost it! how is that possible?its bad enough that they couldnt fill it when i dropped it off because they were behind as usual. This is the absolute worst pharmacy location.District manager: please contact me asap!UPDATE: so I get a call from the pharmacy to say oh they found my prescription and were so proud of themselves no apology. I asked for a manager to call me which didnt happen so I called the pharmacy manager, Justin, and told him I want him to look into what happened and also I want a gift card for my inconvenienc. He checked with the store manager, Ed, and they are not able to do that for me yeah customer service is not a store policy, apparently.
In the two years I have been with cvs.. They have twice lost a prescription which their video shows me handing to them... Then have the amount filled wrong two times.. Once ... half the amount, once ...one third more?? And each time been treated horribly and like I am stupid! So I suggest that you ask them to prove they put a prescription in at time you are there, and ask them to recount your medication. I also note that my medications are not narcotic type meds but they treated me like I abused my blood pressure medicine! Not friendly at all!
Last time ill visit. My wife uses insulin asked them if they carried smaller than full box till I could make it to Walgreens Cuz its way cheaper they treated me like some junkie begging for needles. I always had bad experience here were done
Went to pick up some meds, and was told I could pay for my meds or come inside. Samantha refused to take my insurance that I have provided to them several times. So a customer that cant get out of their car and has no help with them has to pay full price for her meds because Samantha said she would not take insurance through the window. I will be contacting news, and corp office tomorrow.
