I started renovating my back yard as a summer project and did some asking around for the best gravel supplier. JPR was at the top of everyone’s list and they were right. The quality, price, and selection of materials combined with outstanding customer service puts them way above everyone else. I have stopped by about three or four times a week for the past several months and they are quick and incredibly friendly. Miles is especially AMAZING … he is lightning fast on loading my trailer and the weight balance is always perfect! He makes everything too easy! Thanks JPR!

I ordered 13 tons of Santa Fe Brown 7/8 gravel. We were told that the rock was dirty and to expect to have to separate the rock from the dirt, somewhat. In reality, this was a very misleading statement. If you order any of the Santa Fe Brown, you can expect 25-30% of the rock to be dirt. It is very nearly rocky dirt rather than the other way around. So, if you need 10 tons, expect 2.5-3 tons of it to be dirt. You will have to sift the dirt out. Spraying the pile wont do anything but congeal the dirt in the rock and it turns into the consistency of cement. If you dont sift the dirt out, you can expect to have weeds growing above your weed barrier fabric within a year.After the nightmare of sifting off all that dirt out of the rock, I realized I was about a ton short due to the excess of dirt. When I called back and complained about the understatement of the dirty rock, I was told that they would discount another ton for me and deliver it even though their policy is to have a minimum delivery load of 3 tons. The discount was $4 for the ton and full price for the delivery. I told them Id have to think about it. When I called back to move forward with $100 for 1 ton of rock with delivery, they put me on hold. 30 minutes later, nobody answered. I hung up, called them back now it seems theyre screening my call because no one will answer. The only good thing I have to say is that the Tampico Pink rock I got from them was decent. Buyer beware if youre ordering the Santa Fe Brown. I feel that calling it dirty rock is a borderline outright lie.My initial purchase was 8 tons, I had to get 5 more tons on a second order and it still wasnt enough. Add 4 tons of Tampico Pink for a total of 17 tons for backyard that is 1700 square feet and it is still 1 ton short. Thats how much dirt you can expect. I was going for a 2 cover of rock.I was not a difficult customer. I never yelled, or got angry. I simply voiced my complaint about dirty rock. I was told that that my 25-30% dirt to rock ratio was reasonable and to be expected. If I had been told this at my initial purchase, I wouldnt have chosen that rock.

Normally I have no problems with all the rock I get but this load was real bad. About 1.5 wheel Barrow loads of dirt to every 4 loads of rock. I know the Santa Fe brown is dirty but shouldnt be to like this. My customer was not very happy.

I highly recommend JPR Gravel. The customer service was outstanding, Daniel and Myles were total professionals who provided quick service to all five customers who were there at the same time. Daniel was literally running from one customer to the next and Myles was there with the loader providing quick service. The service at the window was polite and helpful. I ordered 10 tons of rock and it was delivered quickly and right on time. The delivery man was very nice, and put the rock right where I asked with no problems or complaints. Unfortunately there was A LOT of dirt in my order. I think at least 25% dirt. I called to complained and spoke to Yolanda. At first she was a little hesitant and said I should expect dirt in my load. I sent photos, and she did call me back after a day. She agreed to send me 2 tons of replacement rock. This made me happy, and I ordered an additional 4 tons of a different rock in addition. The new rock and replacement rock were also delivered quickly by very polite and friendly drivers. Unfortunately, when I looked at my receipt, I had paid delivery for the new rock (not a problem) but i had also been charged half delivery and fuel surcharge on the replacement rock. This is more than half the cost of one ton of the rock. I called and talked to Yolanda again. I said i didnt think I should have to pay delivery for the rock she didnt deliver with my first order. She didnt agree but said she would call me back. She never did. The money is not the issue here, it is only $32.90. But I dont think this is good customer service. I think it would be worth $32.00 to provide excellent service. Im sorry I dont know the drivers names, or I would give them both Kudos.I want to thank JPR for the response to my review, and appreciate your giving me a discount on my next order. I also want to thank Yolanda for calling me and apologizing and giving me a refund on my delivery fee on the replacement rocks. I have upgraded my rating.

They hire rude drivers that cut right out into oncoming traffic then proceed to flip people off and lane change erratically, one driver even swerved out of his lane at my vehicle and I had my two little girls in the car. This company is awesome‼️‼️ The first person you meet in the shop over off of 528 location is Chris and she is so helpful with helping you figure out what Rock is the best and just really fun friendly and knowledgeable. And then my experience for having my gravel delivered has always been with Paul this big good looking guy that is the nicest guy you’d ever want to meet and really knows how to drive that truck‼️‼️ The company is owned by women and Chris said they are awesome to work for that they treat their employees wonderfully and Chris also said that whenever Paul is in the yard with her and she’s busy he steps right in to help people with their gravel selection‼️‼️ I can’t recommend the JPR Gravel folks enough‼️ If all businesses were run by people like Chris and Paul and evidently the women who owned the company the world would be a better place👍👍👍 My neighbors who have also had gravel delivered up here in Jemez Springs all say the same thing about JPR Gravel and their employees‼️‼️ You guys get a 10 🌟 out of 10 star ⭐️ rating👍👍‼️Thanks so much🙏Debi

So I had a problem with JPR. Long story short they acknowledged and respected my perspective. JPR is also taking measures to insure future problems are prevented. It is a good sign when a company cares about its customers.

Great place for your landscaping stone.

We love this place, they are always great to work with. They have lots of our money. We have gotten everything from concrete to gravel, to fill dirt, to flagstone. Locally owned and super efficient and helpful.

Entrance notice needs to be shown, very confusing on which side of the building is the main entrance. Their sign outside their building is very faded, a little difficult to fine.

The delivery was right on time, Richard the delivery driver did a little extra maneuvering of his truck to get the sand where I wanted it! The prices are about average! I would highly recommend!

Great Experience with JPR Rio Rancho. The driver let us know the rock we ordered was the wrong size (our fault) when he could have just dumped it. We worked with the Manager Yolanda to reorder the correct size and she was very accomodating. We will use them again for our future projects!

We ordered some rock and when it was delivered it wasnt exactly what we ordered. Due to the recent rains it caused the rock to be dirtier than normal. I called and spoke with Justin at the midtown location and he was great in making sure we were able to get what we were expecting. There were no hassles and I truly felt like he went above and beyond to make sure he met our expectations. Would absolutely recommend doing business with them!

Have ordered decorative gravel from these guys on multiple occasions, and will do so again. Friendly, professional staff. Quick turnaround. Pricing seems pretty good too. Driver is always friendly and puts my rock exactly where I want it, is careful with my driveway and sidewalk, and waves at my kids. Ill be back again!

Second time going there. First time was awesome Today was a different story. The ladys in the office where rude. Maybe bad day for them still no excuse for that.

I really wish I could give this place 0 Stars because that is what they deserve the lady I spoke to upfront is very rude and threaten call Rio Rancho PD if there mixers not in on time that she refused to rent to me because it was 2 minutes past 2 when I called and inquired about their rentals they did not inform me that I had to pick up anything prior to 2 or Id be denied so they cost me money and they had very poor customer service

They dont wash there gravel so expect to get more then half of your gravel with dirt in it. Will not buy my gravel from this place again
