I entered the store at the same time as a man with a bag that set off the alarm. Huge sign that something was wrong and they didn’t get it. In my search for cotton balls, I see him steal two items. I try frantically to alert the staff who seem to be diligently trying to ignore me. I am finally clapping and waving my hands and finally break up a conversation between them. They are not willing to stop him even though the sensor goes off. Great! Now prices for me will go up!! Then I try to get eye drops. They are locked up. I ring the bell. The employee comes toward me and starts stocking the cold drinks. I have to wait until he is done and then he helps me. Obviously, customer is not first priority!!!!

I would stay away from this pharmacy at all costs. I was prescribed a life-saving medication (viagra) due to a damaged vessel in my face - it was essentially saving my eyesight along with my facial tissue. Though my doctor had called in many other scripts at the same time and within days of the incident the pharmacist refused to release my prescription because “I’m a woman” and there was no prior history of this same medical emergency. Pharmacist Patel is unqualified which is why no doubt he could barley speak straight other than when he was firm on the fact that my medication wouldn’t be released because I’m a woman.

It feels weird to write a review for a retail pharmacy because they’re always terrible. In terms of long lines and a large number of inexplicably irate/entitled customers, this one is no exception. However, the lines move quickly and the pharmacy is friendly and quick(ish). The BEST part of this Walgreens is the managers- I had an issue with photos through no fault of the store, ans both Ms. Thomas and a different manager (a man whose name I forgot) were extremely helpful and accommodating. Anyone who can stay sane and be nice while working in retail - in a shopping center at a major intersection-during a pandemic deserves ten stars. THANK YOU

Pretty average location. Nothing awful, but nothing spectacular

They always have the Arizona tea I like here. (The one with the bear on it.) Although the lines are usually long, this is a good location and I can always find parking here.

BEWARE of the older Caucasian man with the clear mask. He was being very rude to me when I noticed I had to make a separate transaction. When I told him he said “I’d have the get the whole thing voided” in such a rude tone. I was kind and polite and he just looked at me like an annoyance. On top of that he didn’t use my correct balance rewards account so my coupons didn’t even apply. Instead of telling him about his mistake I just left and called customer service.The only reason the place received 2 stars is because of the manger who was nice and upbeat about voiding the transaction and that they had their shelves neat and stocked.I much rather drive the extra 10mins to get to another location.

This pharmacy needs new management. There is no true excuse for how long associates take to get to customers behind challenging customers. I have a newborn and cannot go on the inside of the pharmacy. Today I waited 30 minutes.

I’m giving this Walgreens a one star because when I went there the other day the workers informed me and other consumers that we could only buy one item out of these three options: hand sanitizer, Lysol spray, or Lysol wipes. These cleaning supplies aren’t the same so why can’t customers buy one of each? While I wait in line I seen a worker go into the storage room and grab a 15-20 case of Lysol spray and placed it into a customer cart. The customer cart had several other boxes I couldn’t identify and this customer push the cart out of the store and afterwards returned the cart with none of the items inside the cart so it’s obvious to say they placed the items into their car. However, I was in disbelief that a customer can come into this Walgreens and demand cases of cleaning supplies. While other customers have a one cleaning item restriction. It seem to me these Walgreens are saving cleaning supplies for certain customers while limiting other customers to make it seem like they’re doing their jobs or trying to stretch their store supplies. All this time I thought businesses are low on cleaning items. When the truth is they have cleaning supplies in the back and they’re giving them to certain customers and of course those customers are their families and friends. So the next time a Walgreens employee tells you there’s no cleaning supplies in the back they probably gave it all away to their family, friends and other connections. Or they could be flat out lying to you.

All of the Walgreens employees in stores Elmwood Park, River Forest, Oak Park are in on hoarding the Lysol products for themselves, family members and other employees at Walgreens stores. They put a limited amount on the shelves and hoard most of what is received for purchase for themselves.

Familiarity with layout and generally personable staff. Drive-Through pharmacy window is always a plus, and prices are either acceptably within reason, or occasionally lowered due to a sale of some sort. I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Walgreens @ 811 MADISON St., OAK PARK. That store is much newer and much less busy, even though the store is also quite large.

Horrible pharmacy. Guaranteed an hour wait. Decided to restrict some deliveries during COVID19. Understaffed at all levels. Inaccurate updates. Lack of contact with physicians despite claims. Can send in someone else to pick up controlled meds, but will not deliver with signature and ID. Random decision by store gen mngr.

This place has LOTS of cosmetics! The rest of the store can be a hit or miss though. Like the household cleaning section is definitely tiny compared to the snack isle. (But then again, thats what Walgreens online store is for.) They only have a few cashiers so the check-out line can get kinda long, but the few cashiers that they do have are awesome and on top of things.The pharmacy is usually really fast and prompt, even when theres a long line of people. I think they do an incredible job for the number of customers they handle on the daily. Id give the pharmacy 5 stars if I could. Keep it up, guys!

I have had a lot of time to consider this review as I have just spent half of my remaining life span waiting in line for the drive thru. The people in front of me have all abandoned hope and left, but I am too far in now to give up...

I heard when I entered welcome to Walgreen. Then had a fairly good service at the pharmacy. When leaving again heard thanks for visiting Walgreen. After reading past comments I wonder if they went through a recent rigorous training !

It would be nice after going through the poor selection of candy and drinks that this location has, and dealing with your ignorant staff. If the cashier does not put a glop of spit on their fingers to open the bag and put that spit all over the products I purchased. Dont worry I will blog and post this on yelp too. Close this location!

I have never seen the pharmacy staff just sitting around. No matter what time of day, they are buzzing around non-stop. Unfailingly polite when I talk to them. They need more staff. They need help. I feel bad for them every time I go there.

Always find staff helpful and kind, especially the manager Willie and the new eye doctors. I go to this Walgreens for beauty cosmetics, toiletries, pharmacy, and even now for my Optometrist! I compared contact prices and they are cheaper than LensCrafters for the style of contacts I require.

The pharmacist is incompetent! She screws up script and her underlings have to cover for her!!!???

THE STORE MANAGER IS RUDE, LAZY AND HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! The store is poorly managed and the lines are long. I AM SOOOO HAPPY TARGET AND ULTA OPENED! Go TO ULTA AT LEAST THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE HELPFUL!

I wish I could give zero stars. I have been treated rudely by one pharmacy tech in particular on more than one occasion. The pharmacy here is SO SlOW! I gave them a few chances thinking maybe I had just come at a busy time or maybe they were training a new employee... Nope! Just always slow with terrible service. I will just be going to a different location from now on. Worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to!

Our pediatrician couldnt get my son in for a physical prior to the school year so we made an appointment at the Advocate Care Clinic at this location. The day of the appointment (which had been scheduled for a week) they called to tell me they couldnt see patients under 7 years old - starting today. My son is 5. They didnt say anything when I booked the appointment or even when they called to confirm the appointment. Instead, day of, they told me they couldnt see him. I asked for the number to call to see if they could grandfather him in since they made the decision the day of his appointment and they said no, they wouldnt. Its not at Advocate Care decision - I called them and they were as confused as I was because its not their policy. They then called the Walgreens in Oak Park (Madison St) and rescheduled our physical there, so thank you Advocate Care. Its terrible customer service from this specific location, to cancel something the day of and offer no alternative.

Been waiting in the drive thru behind one car for 20 min. Finally get to window and now sitting for a good 5 minutes. Really?? This is ridiculous.

Been waiting to get my medicine and the guy made me wait 17 mins before helping me and there was no line.

The drive thru pharmacy is amazing when you have sick kids in the car!

I come here for occasional items and they are poorly stocked 90% of the time.The pharmacy is slow and they don’t pay attention to appointment times. I had prescriptions that I were told were ready and took 30 minutes as well as 40 minutes for the vaccine I had scheduled ahead of time. Very frustrating

Im sorry but the pharmacy service was lazy and I felt like they didnt care about how I felt- fairly new prescription and was nervous about it transferring over and being the same and whatnot. I will not continue with walgreens in general and wouldnt recommend you to either.

Worst pharmacy ever! Customer service is nonexistent. Walk in to pick up your prescription, and it takes for ever. Drive thru, forget about it....waited 15 minutes to get someone to assist me and they could not be bothered. Finally drove off.
