I live in San Francisco and I would travel here any day to get my motor rebuilt. Customer service here is top notch! You can’t pay enough for quality. My motor on my mr2 blew and my friend recommended this shop. I went all out on the motor and do no regret it. Everyone here is very transparent, especially Kevin D. He has been with me since the beginning of this engine build. Gave me a couple recommendations and man his customer service is superb! Again, I’d travel back here any day to get my motor done even if I have to travel far. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Kevin D is awesome!

This place is kool af. Machine shop on site, very knowledgeable team. Many items in the store to purchase or they can order. They have put together many incredible builds for their customers. Biggest downfall is, if you go there then youre likely to spend a gang of money haha.Its kinda like heaven on earth.

This place has sone of the best prices on engine parts for 22RE and 22RTE engines around. Definitely lower than LCEngineering. Ive never purchased one of their long blocks but I havent heard anything negative from people who have purchased their engines or complete heads. Shipping was very fairly priced and I will definitely purchase more parts from Yota1 Performance in the future!

This place is awesome. I ordered a rebuilt 22re for my crawler. Nick Was highly knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted on my engine and made recommendations based on my driving. I needed a new engine for my 96 Tacoma. I looked and researched several options from different sources and decided to get my replacement 3RZ from Yota1. I don’t regret it. The lady on the phone was very professional and knowledgeable. Got my engine and it was prepped nice and secure for shipping. Got it in my truck and runs great and very smooth!!! Highly recommended!!!

Though my business with them is still in progress, I wanted to not that the staff is very, very attentive and alert. I was addressed as soon as I got there. Also, I was able to discuss, at length, my needs and ask tons of questions. Everyone was helpful and patient.

I have not been in their shop but I just ordered a rebuilt 22re from them. Nick was extremely helpful and friendly helping me determine where the upgrades were worth the $ for my particular use. I called a few shops and Nick was by far the most helpful and knowledgeable person I spoke with. My only complaint is that they are in California and not closer to me in Arizona! This seems like a top quality facility run by people who care.

I came here on 11-8-17 to get my flywheel resurfaced. I waited for the shop to open up so I can give them the flywheel. I couldve went to other shops close by that opened earlier but I went to this one because of the good feedback I heard and its all true.They do great work and I was able to leave happily.Will definitely come again.

This place is awesome super helpful and knowledgeable. Motor is everything I expected and was done in a timely manner.

My advice, take all your vehicles to this shop. These folks do quality and honest work at a fair price. Had a full engine rebuild done for my Tacoma and had the head gasket/timing replaced on our Subaru. Happy with the results of both vehicles. All in all, these are good people who do good work.

Nick and the staff are top notch. Had them do machine work on my old ford. Went beyond my expectations.will use them from now on.

I brought my Lexus flywheel to resurfaced and he did work. Once we put the flywheel back on our car it was still shaking. It turns out the flywheel was already bad and he still did the work instead of being honest and charging us so much money. Next time go Yosemite Machine good honest people their with better prices.

We travel from Napa to this amazeing place just outside of Modesto, the labor price is fair, fast reasonable diagnostic and amazeing warranties, we take the Company Rock Crawler here for all the repairs because this shop is well worth the drive.Yota1, has a cool name too, as star wars nerds gotta love the name yota!

The best place to buy a motor.. the owner nick will actually take the time to talk to you on the phone to answer all of my dumb questions!! The owner Nick intentionally told me to order the wrong size bearings when I called the question about it he said he was irritated and to come get it measured againIve also purchased a $3,000 performance motor that went out in less than 10000 miles.Pick-n-Pull has better quality and services than what you should recive at yota 1.

Fist time last time customer. Over 11 weeks to get my valve cover powder coated. First time was packed bad, ok mistakes happen took over 7 days finally get a shipping return label..then another 5 or so for the final recoat looks like it was rushed i can see powder coat in threads of the oil fill area. billet oil cap will not thread in and tighten... Sent a video did not even seem to understand. But did return the cap. Did not pay shipping... However Rebecca was professional.

Brought my running engine to this guy and he gave me back a bucket of bolts .charged me $ 2000.00 and refuses to take any responsibilty .matter of fact blames meThis guy does bad buisness frankly he is a liar and thief, steer clear of this company,. Go to lc engineering obviously he is making their parts and putting his name on them.

Excellent family owned and operated business. i purchased a rebuilt 22r for my 1981 toyota pickup, commercial vehicle, The business has been nothing but honorable and outstanding in there work and ethics. Last time i was there Shelby excicuted some warrenty adjustment work, for free, on my weber carbureater i had purchased from them at the same time as motor, without a complaint or bad attitude. thank you guys will definitly go here again.
