Awesome school!!!! Beautiful campus. I have one student that already graduated from UCR with Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering & I have my last student that will start their first year at UCR in a few weeks.

Great place food general needs. has many various supplies from school supplies to electronics to art supplies to medication

UCR Riverside is nice and wonderful university a lot of green areas,nice place for your family,and your students going to love it, this one has a lot of research areas and the university is we’ll found it, a lot of rich people give money to this university in order for them to give a better service to all of the students that will like to go there, come and enjoy this place it will change your family’s life for ever. UCR for ever is a multiracial place that everybody likes come and became one of them.

Good music and air conditioning is nice however its expensive

Items are expensive here, of course, so it’s not surprising. You can get a decent amount of merch and supplies here. The reason I give it a four is due to the customer service. At times, it can be pretty harsh.

Its so nice to hang out here. It had a positive vibes.

The bookstore is a great place to get merch. Sadly, like most Universities, the actual *textbook* portion of the store is the home to publisher and distributior mark ups. If you can find your books online, and your professors allow it, thats of course your best bet.

Warm friendly staff

Poor, unprofessional customer service. Cancelled without prior notification my successfully placed order because THEY FAILED to update their online store on time to reflect the correct stock status, and did not reply my email regarding this issue. Very disappointing management of the bookstore.

This is my graduate school where I am pursuing my PhD. The weather is somewhat always hot but its better than to be in the cold. Campus is really beautiful and lots of places nearby for sight seeing.

As an alumni, I visited during homecoming. I only shopped for spirit wear. I found the selection was varied and good. They could use some more selections of classic fit caps. The sizes in the other gear was sometimes displayed erratically. Customer service though was excellent. It also is a very pleasant environment in which to shop. I enjoyed my experience.

The store is great. Offers a lot for current students and Alumni alike. Or if you are just a fan of UC Riverside.

Bought a book yesterday found a cheaper alternative and they said i cant cant it because the one week to return books has expired even though i bought it yesterday. As a second year I bought books my first year but i realized it was a complete rip off and vowed never to buy a book from here again. I was in a time crunch and desperate so I made a mistake. I recommend that any new students coming in never buy books in the bookstore they like to rip off students and only care about profit not about the student.

They were somewhat useful when they had their own electronics store but now they dont even have it anymore. Just get textbooks from Amazon instead of waiting in line forever

I love eclectic bookstores like these. Its a nice homey place, and the owner is really friendly. I love to look at all the old books in there.

I like the bookstore a lot, mainly for its historic feel, its interesting inventory, and its bargain basement. I rarely leave without getting something here, though granted it is still a fairly small shop so it doesnt have the sheer number of books of a Barnes and Noble or Borders.

Little shop on campus now run by barnes and noble. Has all your needs for school including laptops to blue books. The sales are okay and keep an eye out in the summer for sweater deals

Very impressed on how organized the orientation was planned. Just wished the tours were in golf carts or shuttle bus since it was over 100 degrees and we had to walk. I felt sorry for the guides as well, most of them were red and sweating like us but we all stuck it thru and finished off with a great day. Im glad my son chose this university.

Large assortment of things. Can be packed quickly depending on time (midterms/finals) and pricing isnt terrible but it could be better.Also the avocado plushies are adorable! XD

They have a beautiful campus. But I wish they had more other programs for other types of careers such as a Veterinarian program. Other then that they are friendly and have good service.

Didn’t realize it took 25 hours to process a simple pickup order. And then, when I got there to pick up my order, the online pickup booth wasn’t even open. Horribly unprofessional, and absolutely pathetic. Even Comcast’s customer service isn’t this deplorable.

I stop by the bookstore every day I have class.Snacks just as Scottys, but less options. No coffee or coolers.This is where you can rent or buy books for classes before week 4 and buy school gear and school supplies. They also sell items for your home/partment/dorm.The pick-up section is to the left and your orders are updated through your email.My favorite part is the yellow table to the right, you can charge your phone or laptop with the built in chargers as you sit. Its pretty quiet during the day.

Fairly typical no university bookstore, heavy on UCR branded apparel. First one I have seen that is branded with Barnes and Noble.

University book store run by Barnes and Noble. In the center of the campus. Not readily accessable to the public. Textbooks and UCR clothing. Other education related merchandise.

Disrespectful and uninformed staff and workers. A worker informed me that my books were due 2 weeks from date of purchase. Then I find out the website mislabeled my $60 recommended books as required. So when I try returning the books the manager tells me they were actually due the week BEFORE. The manager only gave me attitude and tells me I should have known the actual due date of books. Never buying books here again. My first and only experience with the UCR bookstore. Very disappointing.

Very rude service. Im a new transfer student who was not aware of the weird line arrangement for the cashier, so I waited at the wrong spot. I said I had been waiting way before the other people while unaware I was at the wrong spot. Was still made to go all the way to the end of the line. I dont feel welcome at this institution at this moment.

UCR is a great great College. My daughter goes here. She wa.ts to be a Doctor who works with cancer patients. Anyhow, the campus, dorms, facilities, staff, teachers, omgosh everything and everyone are awesome here. They have lots of cute places to eat there & even have their own Starbucks & Barnes & Nobles 🤗👌.

Nicely displayed items and good variety but expect to paid retail price for clothing and stationary items.

A one stop shop for most things a college student might need [school supplies, books, snacks, etc.] at an inflated price (as everything on a college campus is). Order your textbooks online as soon as you get your syllabi. Some books will be backordered if you arent quick enough (especially in large classes like chem).

Their housing needs remodeling tore down total rebuild. This UC system ought to be ashamed of how they house their students. Disgusting, despicable for a UC system. However campus is beautiful and located in a very Scenic area in Riverside California

Riversides got great programs and is part of the University of California program (UC), which sponsers and created the Puente program.

The book store offer a lot more than just books. It offers snacks, clothing, comics, notebooks, pencils, water bottles, and items that show off that Tartan Spirit

If you need supplies, this is very convenient.

Pricey, and the selection is strange. Staff is usually pretty friendly though.

Absolute garbage service. I bought a book online on the ucr website, only to find that the book that i bought was an international textbook. I then contacted the bookstore and talked to the employee, whom which told me she will contact the higher ups to talk about refunding. She never called back. Weeks pass and i decided to take the initiative. I head over to the bookstore and asked the bookstore employee second to the manager about my situation. She then tells me in a rude manner that what im telling her is a lie. She then tells me that ucr bookstore does not sell international textbooks. I then try to reason with her that ucr did in fact sell me a international textbook. She interruptes me during my explanation and tells me to calm down and that she has a lot to look into with 4 windows opened about my profile. I cannot believe the service that i receive at this school. She refuses to listen to my explanation and is flat out disrespectful.

Overall the people you encounter are nice and friendly but as with everything in life you will always encounter negative people.

Love it here! Great place to learn!

Would not let me return sweatpants I bought yesterday because they “appeared worn.” I told them that all I did was go home and try them on. I bought multiple pieces of clothing from the store, and I just needed to return the sweats because they did not fit. Bad customer service.
