Everything from the staff, to the coffee, to the food, to the atmosphere was amazing. I worked remotely here all day and couldn’t get enough of this place. The coffee was so good that I bought a bag, and everything is so reasonably priced. I love that she roasts the beans herself too. A literal gem, a diamond in the rough if you will. Don’t hesitate to go here!

Ive been a couple of times and Ive enjoyed the coffee, pastries, breakfast options and the relaxing ambience. I tried the beet latte and loved it, they offer a variety of alternatives for decaffeinated beverages. Really lovely spot!

Im not from the area, Im from the northwest. The coffee here was superb, as good as youll find from any Seattle Cafe. The food is spectacular. Its creative, low priced, and delicious. The service is extremely friendly. Our server, Leif, literally called his mom to give us recommendations for things to do in Wyoming and we actually did them.If I could give this cafe 7 stars out of 5. I would. 5 stars doesnt do it justice.

The food quality has improved here by 100% over the last few months. Its delicious and well served. The rustic ambience is quiet and relaxing and perfect for frontier fine dining. No rowdy, shouting patrons competing for attention. Anything you order is prepared with pride and skill. Kudos!

The website was so easy to order from. The food was ready right on time. The lady that brought my food out was so nice. All that being said the coffee was the star. I took a sip and now I know the difference between good coffee and great coffee. This is great coffee.

Im so happy to find a restaurant I love in Riverton. I got the avocado toast, granola and yogurt, beet latte and fresh-squeezed orange juice. So delicious, fresh ingredients, and beautifully prepared. Great service and coffee! I picked some up and got it ground for home brewing. Cute restaurant with lots of seating and good natural light. Give it a shot!

Wow. This place is incredible. The coffee is made to perfection, and the lemon cake is fantastic. Slightly long wait, but very redeemed with the quality! Highly recommend.

First visit based on other reviews. Quiet and cosy with good coffee and breakfast. They make a very tasty breakfast burrito smothered with great green Chile. Ill go again next time in Riverton.

The food is really good. Even though I dont like coffee it smells amazing in the cafe. The service was lacking. It wasnt busy at all and all three staff members were on their phones or talking amongst themselves. I waited 15 minutes until someone came to me to see what I wanted to drink. If it was a full house I would be much more understanding but, having 5 tables for 3 workers makes it hard to justify.

Stopped by here on our road trip and they had such a variety of breakfast, sweets, coffees and beverages (plus tons of exciting great flavors) also the staff was extremely kind and nice.

The food was delicious! And the blueberry scone is amazing! It was just a little bit of a wait but definitely worth it.

Breakfast was good! Scrambled eggs a little overdone for my liking. The smothered breakfast burrito was very good and a good sized portion. Staff was friendly and attentive.

This coffee cafe has good coffee...great chai tea (try the turmeric chai) AND the food was great the first time. The second time, the eggs Benedict came out room temperature with an overcooked egg and sauce that had separated from sitting so long. Coffee and tea, yes. Food...no.

It was quite a wait for our topas but they were all amazing when they came, so that made up for it!

Visiting from out of state. Loved the feel of the space when you walked in. Friendly faces treated us and large windows so you can be inside but see the beautiful down town. Could not choose coffee so had a non coffee and then a coffee. Many options in food, baked goods and bagels. Very creative, tasty and heart warming goodness. Enjoyed the staff and there suggestions around town.

We ordered several items for breakfast. Our 3 bagel breakfast sandwiches were a complete joke. Jalapeno cheddar bagel with sausage and cheese, came with what tasted like a day-old, microwaved and soggy bagel with jalapeños sliced on top of it smothered in gross cheese sauce. The sausage was crumbles that didnt even account for 1/4 of the bagel sandwich. The egg also only accounted for 1/4 of the size of the bagel. So the 3 of us with bagel sandwiches were left with 2, maybe 3, good bites of sandwich and the rest was soggy, cheese smothered day-old-tasting bagel. The croissant sandwich was the same, microwaved, day-old soggy sandwich with little effort on innards of a sandwich. Spent way too much money for the disappointment.

I’ve been here a few times this week, and I plan on coming back more! This place is amazing. I love the atmosphere and the coffee.

Ordered food to go. Heard great things about this place. So I thought why not for my birthday brunch. Give my husband a break. Got our food. All of it was cometely cold. French toast was cold to the core. Breakfast burrito was hard and cold. Even my kids food was cold and it was just eggs bacon and toast!!! So here we are $30 wasted and my husband cooking breakfast for us. Save your money and go to McDonalds.

I would give this place less than a star if possible. We have been here twice. We only went back because there isnt much to choose from in Riverton and the food was good. The service stinks! The young man who works there spent his entire time eating breakfast with his girlfriend and serving her mimosas. The girl who waited on us brought a 7up at a time to our table because she said she couldnt carry more then one. It took her 15 minutes to do this and then she asked if we wanted to order food. We said yes but we dont have a menu. Oh I have those somewhere. Another 15 minutes went by before she came back to take our order. It says the tables are cleaned regularly for COVID, the tables were dirty! We wont be back! Two strikes and you are out! Plus 8 dollars for two tiny crepes in the shape of a 2 inch triangle with a teaspoon of filling! I left starving! My mom ordered a side of chips and received 3 on a plate with the waitresses fingers in them!

I have searched, and gotten coffee from other Distributors and Brown Sugar is still the best place!!

Understaffed so super slow, no masks (WY has a statewide mask mandate) and order was wrong.

Not sure what all the 4 and 5 stars are for, and in fairness its not like theres much to choose from in Riverton. Mediocre is generous in describing the service. Forgot side of oatmeal. Food took FOREVER, like almost an hour for Eggs, bacon, and potatoes and bfast burrito, and they were definitely Not busy (what are they doing back there???) Does not take an hour to prepare this! When food did come, green chilli on burrito was tasteless, bacon was salty, No seasoning on potatoes, like None, not even salt and pepper, and the rest just total Meh. Then, made mistake of ordering a drink to go when the food arrived w intent that it would be ready when meal was done. Nope. Didnt even start it when we were trying to leave after paying. Basically, wasted our entire morning there on top of wasting 30 some dollars. Do yourself a favor and just make breakfast at home. Id be shocked if this place survives.

We came through a couple days ago and really enjoyed their unique selection! I tried the Beet Latte, a coffee-free beverage... I had them add espresso to it, and it was such a fun drink! And tasty, too! I also got the veggie salad... mmm. What a great find in central Wyoming! If I ever drive through Riverton again, I know where to go! Thanks

Terrible customer service and food. We have to wait for 50 mins to get our food. It came out cold and right out of freezer. The thing happened to one more family sitting behind us. Because of the terrible experience, we had to start our trip one hour late and without breakfast.Do not recommend this place at all!

UPDATE: I will never be drinking coffee from this place again. The barista made my coffee last time was the same person taking people’s money and she used her fingers to scrape the ground coffee off the Porta filter. That is absolutely disgusting especially during this time of Covid. I have tried reaching out to the owners and I get no response.Your coffee is absolutely amazing! Flavor of your coffee beans is wonderful! Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had! Great job! Traveling through from out of state and choose your coffee shop!

Good prices, great coffee and surprisingly delicious food! The only reason this isn’t a five star is because the neck tattoo lady is insanely rude to the other employees! She can regularly be seen Lecturing her co workers in front of customers. Creating a terrible awkward atmosphere, usually complaining how she get no help and everyone but her is doing everything wrong, but these girl are lovely and incredibly busy all the time the only problem I see as a regular customer is that lady!

This is a great coffee shop with tasty small menu items in addition to roasted coffee. They just moved from a smaller location to a location that allows for brunch service. Im unsure that they planned this move well however, because their point of sale system does not seem to accommodate the bigger location and the bigger menu. I ordered a cup of coffee, and it took the barista 2 minutes to figure out how to ring it up and cash me out. My coffee took 20 minutes to get to the table. As I was on an uncomfortable date at the time, this was a long time to wait for a distraction and each minute seemed to drag by. Im glad I wasnt in a hurry. That is why I am giving this three stars instead of four.

Wow, I never caught the name of the fine lady who owns and runs this place. She was so interesting and had a wonderful story to tell me while she prepared know of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had. I highly recommend this place. Leave her a large tip.

The people who waited on us were really nice. However, had to wait a really long time to get our coffee, and after getting it, the flavors were off. We were not the only ones who waited a long time for their drink(s).

Driving from Mt Rushmore to San Francisco (home), stayed the night in a certified roach motel. Even my son just about rebelled and slept in the car with the dogs. Anyway being a coffee snob and expecting to have leaves, hearts and smiling panda bears drawn in the froth of my lattes in the bay area I did not expect much from this place. Shocker!! This place could hold court amongst the blue bottles and four square roasters of the bay. Its freaking GOOD!!! The roast is not burnt, that smoky quality in their roast is amazing, its rich and perfectly balanced. It is truly unpretentious gourmet coffee. Cheers to my new mates at Brown Sugar!!

Ive been a home coffee roaster for over 10 years and coffee shop coffee is usually a big disappointment because the coffee beans arent freshly roasted. Technically, coffee is only truly fresh for about 16 days after it is roasted. After that it begins to absorb oxygen which changes the chemistry of the bean and it becomes more acidic. We stopped in here because we needed to use Wi-Fi for work and this place has awesome reviews. I grabbed an Americano because I wanted to taste the coffee instead of the flavorings. It was an excellent cup of coffee, the beans were freshly roasted and it showed. Probably the best coffee shop coffee Ive had in many years. Thank you!

Great service, great food, great coffee!!

I have been all over the country and have never tried a place that has had as good as coffee as these guys. I dont know what the other guy got sick off of but it wasnt this coffee. These guys know how to roast coffee. Ive sent this coffee to my friends at their homes and businesses in West Virginia, Texas, Colorado, Louisiana, Montana, and Maine, just to name a few, and I got my friends hooked as well. The thing to know about this place is they know how to roast coffee and they have it down as an art. Coffee is and can be an art. Many people doctor coffee up so you cant taste its potential, but these guys know how to unveil its potential. Its a shame that I had to move away and cant enjoy their drinks anymore, but I still go online and order their coffee.

Its Sometimes hard to find good coffee in small WY towns, but this is a gem. Coffee is both fair trade and organic...and rich and delicious to boot! Highly recommend.

We buy their fresh roasted beans by the pound... Usually 5 pounds. They roast every week. If youve never used fresh roasted coffee beans at home, you are really missing out. Call them up and get on the list!

This place used to have the best sandwich in town (Noreaster), and for some reason they got rid of it. Ive tried their coffee (espressos/lattes) a few times and every time it has tasted bunt and made me feel terrible for the rest of the day; headache and upset stomach. They have been friendly enough, but I think they still have a bit to learn about roasting coffee. If you need a sit-down coffee shop in Riverton, this is your only option, but Id recommend getting a tea.

Very good coffee. They bring in special varieties. Recent Yemen blend was excellent. Only place I buy coffee and I live 120 miles away.
