Great customer service and personal attention. We were looking a smoker and were considering a Green Egg but after talking at length with Michelle and Ellie we found that a Treager grill/smoker would be a better choice. Hard to find personal service these days at any of the big box stores. Refreshing experience!! More of us need to consider our small and local stores. I recommend this Ace Hardware.

Excellent service and staff. Everyone there is exceptionally helpfully. Michelle the Assistant Manager spent over an hour with me to help fully understand my purchases and options.Its a longer drive for me than to Lowes or Home Depot but well worth the time. ACE is the Place! Definitely!

Bad, I called and ask if they could program my car key and they said yes .When I got there they said they dont do Honda keys . I would have got one of there keys if they offered, They did not have time for me. I had to drive 40 miles to get there. Dont go there

Great store...clean and well organized! Employees friendly and very helpful in locating items! Probably a tad more expensive than Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot....but the convenience of being able to park at the front door and not having to walk a country mile to get to the hardware section of a big box store and stand in line for 15 minutes to check out is definitely worth a few extra coins!

Outstanding client experience from entry through settlement and exit. The staff were most helpful, cordial, professional when engaging.The cashier was a salt of the earth women. A warm engaging conversation between us (my wife, me and her) was part of the settlement and exit.We talked about this transaction experience all the way home. It was a throwback to yesteryears model. It can be easily achieved with the right folks and team.This store, this day, this afternoon hit a grand slam homerun!

Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I always find what I need and it’s never a problem to ask for help. Great customer service and great stock. I’m usually in the Rock Hill store once a week and I keep going back because of the friendliness and the availability of products. When I go to big home improvement stores I walk around aimlessly and can rarely find any one on staff to help me. At Ace, it is a brief walk and the check out lane never has anymore than one or two people in line-if any. Phil, the store manager, does a great job of hiring and training his staff. Two thumbs up!! They have earned their five star rating from me!!!

Went in to get a shovel really quickly one day and the cashier at the front was having a technical issue with the register, but was so incredibly nice and got the problem resolved quickly. She was so enthusiastic about being there, you can tell she truly enjoyed her job! I cannot remember her name, but she brightened my day!

Ace still a dependable traditional hardware store more likely to have what you need and with knowledgeable staff but a higher price tag.

Ive been trying to come here instead of going to the bigger stores and I have to admit theyve had what I needed every single time. From fixing toilets or a fence gate to pool supplies theyve always had what I needed. This store will always be my first stop before going to the bigger guys.

Easy in and out, clean and well organized. Staff very friendly and helpful! I plan on going here more often instead of the two giant hardware stores across town, where its hard to get help, and when one gets it, its not particularly friendly.

I frequent the Ace stores for my job as its the only place our purchase card works locally. Today I had the BEST experience ever. Michelle has the best sprit! She was so kind and polite and just eager and ready to accommodate my request. I appreciate her for starting my day of like she did.Outside of the amazing customer service Michelle showed me today the location is clean and well stocked. If something isnt right they work to make it better and keep your business. I dont know who needs to read this but give Michelle a raise, we need more like her!

Very nice store.

Service was excellent but I bought a $600 stihl pole pruner that didnt work. Check your equipment before leaving. I mean check it YOURSELF! Staff wasnt to knowledgeable on outdoor power equipment. Your store associate took the pole pruner around back while I was paying and came back and said it worked. As I stated before to check YOURSELF because I took his word. Got home didnt work. Also got a call the next day from their Stihl guy and he stated it wasnt put together correctly.

Staff was very helpful especially the older guy in the paint/hardware section..

I have been working on refinishing my hardwood floors for over a week. I ran into an issue underneath countertops and in corners where I just could not sand and couldn’t find answers anywhere. There are so many products available and I got completely overwhelmed. I said a prayer asking for guidance and walked into Ace hardware on Cherry Road yesterday and met Michelle. She not only remembered me from the last time I was there looking for sandpaper, she assisted me with products but also told me how Proud of me she was for undertaking such a huge job. She ended up calling around for advice with my particular situation and found out what I need to do is hire a professional for the last little bit of this job. She called today to check in with me to see how I was doing. I’ve never experienced better customer relations in my life. Michelle is awesome!

This store was opened by an experienced Ace Operator. His stores are clean, well managed and have friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Much better experience than going to the big box retail stores.

Would’ve been my main stop-n-shop from now on but, came to trade in my Klein 9” pliers, no hassle guarantee trade in and the manager said “No”. I’ve traded my Milwaukee & Klein tools at many stores & NEVER had any problems. Because of the brand’s “No Hassle Guarantees”. That’s what I buy them. I will NEVER come to this location again!

I walked in not realizing I had left in my mask in the truck, the manager lady told me I needed to have a mask on and instead of offering me one of the free masks that you guys hand out at the store she asked me to leave. So because of her rudeness I left and didnt come back inside and purchase what I needed. When I was leaving I heard someone ask her if she would mix the paint that they bought and she said no, theres mixing sticks right there. Awful rude customer service.

So glad there is a nice, new and clean Ace in Rock Hill,(Cherry Rd). This one is so much better than the one on Main St. Great stuff and helpful staff.

I was just at the Rock Hill, SC location, and as my son and my father were walking in behind me, there was Patti and a gentlemen she was helping. He was clearly blocking the entrance, so I said excuse me. He didn’t hear me so I said it again. I also waved my hands in a motion to please move so we could all 3 walk by him. Patti finally asked him to move and as I walked away she muttered “that was rude”. Well let me tell you, you have A 6 foot rule clause, and I was trying to get by. She could’ve asked him to move and she didn’t. This was my 3rd time at this location and my home is going under a total remodel and I was trying to price and buy things for that. You lost a customer. Do not hire managers that can’t follow YOUR protocol. You lost a customer for life and I will also be blasting this on social media to all my friends. This is a new location, hope it stays open because the other did not. Good luck. Coach Patti.
