Great job removing the barnacles from the bottom of my pontoon.

My cat has the most votes to great care of us we got my boat in and out of the water in 48 hours if I do my own bottom job but they were courteous and polite and helped us in every way they could got the Barnacles off by boat let me park there for two nights while I got my engines working and let me stay one more night so I could get ready to go to my poor to call La Bahia Mar Marina & Ingleside I suppose firestars five out of five wonderful place please go check them out the only place to get it hauled out in the Coastal Bend

I have used House of boats for my boat projects for years. I am being treated well there.

Having been in the industry for +10 years, I have never encountered such an unfriendly and disinterested boat yard. I have only ever reached out to The House of Boats and cannot speak for their actual performance in the yard, but when asking about service and quotes I was quickly dismissed in an unfriendly manner. Unfortunately, in addition to the dismissive and uninterested attitude, there was a blatant l lack of knowledge regarding boats and boat repair which culminated in a statement along the lines of we only do bottom jobs, bye! (paraphrase). I will disclaim this by reiterating that I have never actually worked with this yard, but from the limited experience I have with them, I cannot recommend. A couple of good alternatives in the area include Mikes Boat Repair and Fulton Yacht Yard.

Its a pretty beat place, the folks there treat it like a community. It can be tough to get a hold of someone, but when u do they are awesome.

The owner John is a stand up guy. We repaired our Catalina 30 sailboat there for two months. If you like working on your own boat and dont mind hanging around the guys that do it for a living then this is the yard for you. It is not a Yacht club! So if you go there expecting that kind of atmosphere, youll have to get your maid to clean up your tears.

These people are price gouging based off of Harvey!! The owner called cursing my husband and threatening him based on work that was promised and never done. They are now saying that we owe them a storage fee because they never did the work!! Last I checked you do not pay a storage fee at the mechanic while waiting for your vehicle to be repaired! VERY unprofessional and taking advantage of other peoples loss during such a horrible time of devastation! The lady there is nice but the man is a maniac!

Was doing a bottom job in a boat yard down the road. The workers were very helpful with advice, and the office manager really knew her stuff.

Please be aware... Carefully review a cost estimate and have it in writing,My boat was delivered more than 10 days after promised. OOPS and I was charged a storage fee because the staff could not sort out how to start the boat.( BTW more than $200.) My goodness! Try turning the batteries on instead of suggesting that they were dead and required replacement.The boat was placed on the trailer completely inadequately and unsafely. The bow was six inches off of the rubber, the winch strap was twisted over and over, and the chain secured with a frayed piece of cord because the bolt was in need of WD40.Unfortunately, the new owners were out fishing and unavailable to discuss these issues. Most fortunately, there was an employee who was very kind to help resolve the trailer problems. He was also helpful to share his opinion regarding the business practices of the owners.I have owned boats up to 44 feet and returned to House of Boats managed by the previous owners because of our positive experiences. I am very disappointed by this!

The lady who works the office is really sweet, knowledgeable, and on top of it! Repeat customer in line!
