I recently took my acoustic guitar (Larrivee L-01) to Jason to have it looked at, tuned up/adjusted, and to have a pick-up installed. Jason was very gracious and gave my guitar the utmost attention and workmanship I could have asked for - he even fixed a few minor issues I had no clue had been an issue (binding coming loose on the neck and a few high frets) - his attention to detail is unmatched.I was sent to Jason on the recommendation of a friend and I am not disappointed in any way with my experience - I would wholeheartedly recommend him for work.I hope to be able to update my review to include his lessons and teaching methods in the future because I will likely become a student and hope to enroll my children as well.
I have been taking lessons from Jason for several months now. The first lesson from Jason changed my entire guitar world!Jason has a very great way of communicating with me and making me understand the guitar!I very strongly recommend Jason he is an excellent teacher and an amazing guitarist! You cannot go wrong with Jason as your instructor.
I have been a student of Jason’s for several years, and I can honestly say after having several instrumental teachers that he is the best I’ve ever seen. With over 25 years of teaching experience he can teach anything from punk rock to country to jazz to pop to metal and everywhere in between.I can’t count the times I’ve came in 2 weeks before a concert with a last minute piece with the words “help” and he saved me. He can teach you something in half an hour that would take professional teachers an hour to learn. And if you have time to take it slower you’ll learn more than you paid for. If you ask for a scale pattern he’ll give you two and you’ll have both of them memorized.I qualified for state for high school and collegiate guitar because of this man. I always recommend him to my friends who want to learn and I’ll do the same for you. You won’t waste a dime on lessons with Jason.
Jason is an amazing instructor. My son has been taking lessons for several years and has come so far in his abilities. Jason has taught my son so much! He is patient and has high expectations of his students.
I have had the opportunity to work with jason for many years. He is an excellent instructor with the mindset of challenging the student to reach success.Highly recommended.
I have been a guitar student of Jason’s for 2 years and am one of his “older” students. He is a rare combination of an extremely talented musician who is artistically amazing with a high technical skill level grounded in a solid grasp of theory. Most importantly, he can really teach, breaking daunting (to me) pieces and technical exercises into attainable accomplishments through modeling, explanations and encouragement. He has truly shown me the value of studying face to face with an instructor vs self or internet guided study. It’s SOOOO much easier and you will progress much faster (and not develop a bunch of bad habits that can be very frustrating and really slow your progress). Jason is always patient and encouraging, pushing me with humor and understanding, and receptive to pieces and ideas I want to explore. After two years, I know I still have much to learn and look forward to continuing my lessons with him.
