The number 1 Filipino Food place in Long Island, New York. Food is delicious, freshly prepared, generous serving and they don’t over charge you. Staff were courteous and the place is clean. I hope they can expand their place to cater to more customers.
The food at the side restaurant here is amaaaaazing and although I realize this may seem like a random thing to say, the kitchen is so clean!!Also, the staff is friendly and the prices are fair.Order the Tinolang Manok. Delicious!!!!!!!!!
Ive been coming here for the last year and have had a great experience every time. I leave getting exactly what I went in for and the cashiers are always nice and fun to talk to. I prefer coming here over anywhere else.
I live/grew up in Queens and attended Stony Brook about 6-7 years ago. This was one of my go-to places back then, and the only Filipino food around.I recently went back and had it again and wow, it made me realize that a lot of Filipino restaurants in Woodside really need to step up their game. It’s shocking that a tiny restaurant in Ronkonkoma is putting Queens Filipino restaurants to shame. My only complaint is that it’s not closer to my house.Asian One Best Grocery isn’t just one of the best Filipino restaurants in Suffolk, it’s one of the best Filipino restaurants in NY in general. Highly recommend. Thank you for the great memories.
Love this store. I make a lot of Thai and Asian food and always find what I need. lots of extremely interesting things that you never see in a regular supermarket.
Pleasantly surprised to find this gem in Suffolk! I was going to drive an hour to get my ingredients for an Asian dessert dish but decided to check them out. They have your essential Filipino and some pan Asian items (breads, snacks, canned items, frozen foods, drinks, packaged seasonings and mixes, some vegetables and, of course, rice). The bonus is their take out of cooked foods and catering option! You can order as soon as you come in and it will be ready when you finish shopping. You can always call ahead to place your order for pick up, too. I saw a posting that they do deliver so you can ask them about it. I saw someones Halo Halo and it looked amazing! It is off a main road and the parking lot is big. The plaza its in has a few other stores (Chinese restaurant, Pizza Place, Dance Studio and a salon). This will be our go-to when we have our Filipino cravings, only 20 minutes away!
They sell cakes that has mold and lie to you and say it’s not expired. Some of their products are not fresh.
Delicious chicken adobo and Filipino specialities. Friendly staff and fast service. Good selection of Asian food products.
First time entering this establishment. Found a lot of options for creative Asian cooking. Owners are super friendly
I love the Filipino food!
Great food individually prepared
Great food, yummy snacks and drinks, and the people are very nice 👍👍👍
It has a really good variety of Asian foods. Especially Filipino. They are friendly and the prices are reasonable.
I always love to shop and dine at Asian One Best Grocery! Most of the Filipino food items I want and need are all in there. Feels like shopping at sari-sari store! ❤
Great selection of filipino grocery items and cuisine! It is a grocery store with specialty asian products on one side and a restaurant of delicious prepared foods on the other. They have bakery items like ube cheese pandesal, astringent like eskinol and even fruit jelly😀. You cant get these specialty items in a regular store so shopping here is a treat. Brings back memories of my filipino mom😍. Definitely recommend👍👍!
Nice little grocery spot away from the city. The cashier was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave great advice and I cant wait to try out the recipes.
Excellent service. Very good selection and value
Been eating here for a few years now and food is always very tasty. Staff is warm and friendly, and the place is clean. Lots of parking available. Seating is limited so call first if you plan to eat there during the busy times. Also, quite a good selection of Filipino groceries to buy here. Its a good alternative instead of having to drive to Queens for Filipino food or groceries. BTW they also cater.
Small selection. No rice cakes?
We usually order from here for takeout and grocery for my wife. But last week we spent more than $100 for grocery and takeout food. When I checked receipt lady charged double for some grocery plus instead of chicken BBQ they gave us pork BBQ. The price for food increased and quality decreased.
Clean. Stocked well. Quick check out. No line. Staff are friendly, overall good experience.
A nice variety of goodies, sad the kitchen wait was so long. After seeing this store featured on News 12 a few years ago, Ive been wanting to make the trip! Im a huge fan of HMart in Jericho. While this store doesnt have a ton of items like HMart, they do have a nice variety and its great to support local businesses.Located on Portion rd. in Farmingdale, this should be easy to find. Its located in the shopping center with a few other small businesses. Plenty of parking. The workers here were very friendly. I came at around 12:00pm on a Saturday, I guess that was my mistake. I wanted to order some hot food from the kitchen. The woman up front informed me that my order would take at least an hour and a half. At first, I was still going to order. I wanted to try the Chicharrón. Unfortunately, the woman then informed me that they havent had it in months. I also wanted some Lumpia, but I wasnt going to wait over an hour for it. Instead, I only bought some packages items and left. My plan next time, come very early! They also having limited seating to dine in.They have a nice selection of Ramen, snacks, and other packaged goods. I was able to find some boba tea in a can, the very spicy ramen, and some tasty snacks. My favorite, honey butter chips were in stock! They also have a small selection of baked goods. I tried the Ube Cheese Pastries which were delicious!Overall, this is a great store. Im dying to try the kitchen items, hopefully next time I get here early enough.
Ridiculous to call it a grocery, more like a large deli.
This is my first time at the store. I ordered 4 kinds of food. Food was very good. I was asking the owner for recommendation for some ingredients for a specific dish. She was very helpful and patient with me in suggesting what I needed. I will be back very soon with friends.
Always a pleasant experience at this market. There is a great selection of goods, and everything is very fresh. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.
Great place for authentic Filipino food!!!! I only wish I lived closer to them.
Let me preface this by saying that I recently moved to the area and Im spoiled by a very large grocery store chain-sized Asian Mart near where I used to live. This place is very small in comparison with a much more limited selection, but it had all but one thing I was looking for which was just out of stock. Its nice that they also have fresh food cooked to order.
Very clean. Good prices and hot food is very good.
This is a grocery/restaurant set up like most of the Filipino eateries in New York. The menu has wide selections. Perfectly prepared Filipino dishes, excellent taste and portion sizes for the price; comparable to the best Filipino food served in top expensive restaurants in the Manila, seriously. Money and travel well spent. Friendly and courteous service, too. Place is very clean. You can be confident impressing your family and friends here, home away from home.
Has everything you need and the staff is lovely.
Very nice service and very helpful.
Great Food Selections. Nice Traditional Plates. Great Hospitality😊
Wish I could do 4.5 stars. Service is warm and friendly and the food is very good. They even prepared to order when I made some significant changes. Owner is hands on. Lots of locals proving the place is worth frequenting. They are a little slow in the kitchen which isnt bad when you want an authentic taste and well prepared meal but can be annoying when you come in hungry. Would prefer a better selection of drinks.
I was looking for a local asian grocery and was surprised to find a small Filipino restaurant inside this grocery. The food is well-priced and authentic to Filipino cuisine. The food portions are fairly large and great for family-style sharing. The food itself is fresh and delicious. I definitely plan on returning to try the other dishes. Grocery itself is fine and standard for what an asian grocery would sell.
Nice selection of Asian groceries, and pleasant staff. I havent tried the restaurant yet.
This place is awesome. They were very nice and the food was great
Delicious food and wonderful staff! Great for sit-in dining and catering. Highly recommended!
Good selection. The take-out kitchen takes forever and the food isnt really outstanding. Not bad but I think twice in spite of my cravings as its a good 50-minute drive for me.
I love this store because it always has what Im looking for and the shelves are always stocked
Chicken BBQ here is so good 👍👍👍
Very good Filipino food. There are only about 6 small tables so dont bring the extended family or a huge party and expect to have space.Prices are very good, and selection is decent. The grocery store is large for an Asian selection and well stocked.
Love this place. The food in the restaurant portion is as authentic as you can get. I come here whenever I feel homesick. Plus you can get anything you need for home cooked meals in the store. As far as I know the only Filipino store remotely close to me and they are fantastic. My one recommendation is to make sure you have cash. They take credit and debit cards but often seem to have problems with their credit card sustem. My mother ended up being double charged when the transaction failed half way and appeared not to have gone through but was charged again when they swiped again...Ive also had to wait on more than 3 occasions for them to have to reboot the card system. Aside from that prices are good and I cant complain about anything. Their Halohalo on a summer day is just about as close to home as you can get.
The restaurant section, though it has limited seating, does have some very down to earth foods that are favorite of Filipinos.
This place has a small Asian (Filipino)food and product market as well as a small restaurant, serving ethnic Filipino foods. They also offer as a location point for boxes that are shipped to the Philippines . It is a family owned establishment and I am glad its in my neighborhood
Just went.... They are so nice in there... It is so clean and they had what I wanted!
They had what i needed n the people there were helpful n nice. No one Hovered over u,they let u brows around Nice
Absolutely love to go to this place if I don’t get out to flushing. They have a great selection:)
An interesting little shop to get lots of little rare ingredients for certain dishes that you would not be able to prepare otherwise. For example they have canned Jackfruit and I cant find that most other places on Long Island.
Came in for groceries and was helped out so much by a man that worked there. He told us everything we needed and how to make this simple delicious noodle dish. Very nice!
Good prices, great selection and very pleasant and helpful staff. They also serve Filipino food. So, Ill be back to try that soon!
Quality products at quality prices. Simply the best!
Great variety of Asian food from Malaysian to Japanese. Take out food is excellent. BBQ Pork is a must-have!
The service is always warm and accommodating, and the food outstanding! Before finding Asian One Best Grocery, Id have to drive into Woodside. Asian One is so much closer when I need my Filipino food fix
Wonderful selection of groceries, the people are very nice and the food is delightful! A beautiful mural dons the right side of the building near the dining area, its visible as soon as you walk through the door.
They sell Asian and oriental foods that i needed for cooking.
I usually love this place but they didnt have anything good this time
Clean, organized adequately stocked shelves.Cooking is true to taste, servings proportionate although a bit expensive.Over all, good experience.
Wearst attitude from the owner lady. They wont ever see me in there again. She would help me find what I was looking for. She literally walked away from me while I was talking to her. Then she was rude at the counter. So I left everything on the counter and walked out. Lol oh well, maybe she will learn how to treat people. Or like people, seemed as though I was an inconvenience for her.
I had the beef tripe porridge. It was very tasty.
My brother and his wife were correct. There was pork, beef, chicken, fish, and vegetable choices. Very delicious and I am eager to visit them again.
Always delicious Filipino foods and grocery products. Everyone friendly. Real Filipino hospitality with a smile.
Welcoming staff. Great food. Family friendly. Very organized shelves with amazing food.
Very friendly staff and delicious food and unique grocery products
Small place with a big selection of seasonings, noodles, rice, snacks, and fresh foods. Ill be back!
Great food and grocery
Wonderful Asian options for all your Asian cooking needs
I live for Asian food and their selection of ingredients for all types of cuisine was impressive. I found everything I needed to make a delicious Thai green curry and I will be back soon.
Great Asian Market and Restaurant. Stopped here for Egg Roll Wraps, but their variety was pretty nice.
The go to place for authentic filipino cuisine within the area. Grocery items available as well. I go here as often as i could.
Should have more meat free options but I enjoy the pastries, and fish.
Great service and tasty authentic Philopeno food
My go to spot, for all my Asian food needs.
For all you gwai lo rhere are more than one type of Asain. If you are Phillipino the store is great number one, chinese. Japanese, or other no so number one
I went one, i bought chicken barbecue,. It was good.. this place is a grocery store but they have a mini restaurant there
Organized. Good food and variety of products
I have always enjoyed my visits and felt true value existed when purchasing products.
Good Filipino food and service, but closed at 18:30 tonite on a Friday...
Love the food. I kept eating even after I was full.
Excellent food and wide variety of grocery products.
Only went to this store once but will rethrn .produce very fresh with good prices. Recomme d
Very well curated asian ingredients stocked in the grocery. If you are looking for galangal and kaffir lime leaves - this is your spot! They have all the fixings to make your asian food over the top perfect. Dont waist time substituting - use the time and travel here for authenticity.
Always good food.
I dropped off a baikbayan box 01/03/2016 with RDR invocie # 70900 until now my family did not receive it. i tried to ask help from the owner to facilitate any answer but to my dismay and great disappointment nothing was resolved. She gave me phone numbers to call which nobody answers or out of service. A hard decent money lost without a trace.
I’m kind picky on Asian food. However, their food is amazing, especially the Shanghai roll.
If you are looking for asian groceries in suffolk county, they have a nice selection to choose from. In addition, they also have a little restaurant inside serving traditional filipino cuisine. I enjoyed the pork BBQ stick and the bangus. The Tocino in the tocilog was a bit on the sweet side for my taste but the portions will fill you up.
There service sucks! I waited for an hr & 20mins to get my order. So expect to wait for 45 - hour & 30 mins to be able to eat. Even though its not that busy. The waitress said oh its so embarrassing to ask them to be hurry. In my mind (really? Your embarass, but you dont care about how I felt as a customer)...The waitress is rude! I called to order for food in a pleasant voice, and when she said that the food will cook 30-45mins, Id asked her how come? She responded, because your not the only customer we have. Yeah I know she is right, but its that how you answer to a customer?. Plus the cashier, always have a sour face, so unfriendly. If only theres another Filipino store in our area, I will never go back there!
Filipino grocery and restaurant all in one! Authentic, tasty dishes, and great staff. Get your halo halo on.
Selection of frozen items like dumplings and bean buns was really limited. Their website images showed more. We bought a few things but fortunately found another store with a wider selection only 10 minutes away.
Great selection and low prices. I do all of my shopping for Asian foods here.
Amazing fresh food and selection of Asian ingredients/products.
Love the food there, great custumer service.
Good food and selection of Asian groceries, particularly Filipino.
Poor inventory. The clerk had no knowledge of other markets to meet my needs.
Good prepared food and fresh groceries
Good place and nice people
Good Place for Lunch
Amazing place for Filipino food.
I bought a expired noodles, I almost poison. Horrible. They sell expired goods.
