A Absolute Plumbing sent their plumber out (unfortunately I dont have his name) to replace the drain pipes underneath the sink leading to pipe in basement which connected to main line on 11/02/20. He was very professional, courteous and explained every step of what the job entailed. These were very old pipes and therefore over the years had a very serious build up issue. To access the area in order to remove and connect the new pipe he was able to do so efficiently by going through back wall of sink and some of the area behind the dishwasher using only the space needed to get the job done. Once job was completed he cleaned up all debris including taking the old pipe away. I highly recommend this company for doing great work and making sure the job is done right the first time. 5 stars for the plumber for a job well done. In order to get to the wall behind the dishwasher the plumber had to move it out. Unfortunately the electrical connection became detached. A Absolute Plumbing did not hesitate to send out an electrical person (Victor) who reattached the power to the dishwasher and made sure all the wiring was put back exactly as it was when installed. He too was very courteous, professional and explained what had to be done. He made sure the power and wiring was working properly before leaving. I am also rating Victor with 5 stars as well for his great work on reconnecting the dishwasher. The pipe work is fantastic and the dishwasher works like a dream. This company stands behind their work 100% so when any issues arise they very quickly follow up to rectify them. I am more than happy with the work done.

My technician was Victor. He was great. He explained the issue and the different ways he could fix it. He explained the cost associated with each option. He did his best to make sure he did the job right at the best price. He was quick and efficient.I explained to the dispatcher my concerns with the current pandemic and that I would prefer to enter and exit through a certain area and stay out of my main living area. Victor respected all my wishes and maintained distance and wore a mask the entire time he was here. Made me feel very comfortable.I would use them again without question.

This is a high quality business. My tech Mike Prince is very knowledgeable and extremely polite. He always goes the extra mile to satisfy the client. I been using these guys for a while now and NEVER had a problem. I would recommend them to anyone. You might save a few dollars with someone else but you wont receive the high quality of work I guarantee it. As a maintenance contractor, I have hired, as well as worked with- many plumbers in New Jersey. A-Absolute is by far the most capable and responsive plumber I have known in this state. Their staff is experienced in a wide range of plumbing issues. They have the equipment to get any job done in a timely way. Management is responsive and effective, and treats their employees better than most. Genuinely 5 stars all around.

We have an external sewer pump that had given us issues for a few years until it quit. A Absolute serviced it the first year and it was quite a challenge! They nailed it and though it took a few extra days, we were happy with the repair. Not quite a year later, there was an issue that they took care of quickly and with minimal interruption. This year it quit. The A Absolute team worked hard and fast to make sure it was replaced as quickly and painlessly as possible. And they worked within our budget to meet our needs. Good service - good work - professional personnel (and over 3 years we met quite a few of them!).We would call A Absolute again!

I’ve used these guys twice so far, the first time for valve and pipe repair when installing a washer and dryer, and then most recently to repair a new heating unit. Their team came the day of in both cases, were friendly/personable and got their jobs done very quickly. Jesse and Orlando, were very professional and were able to diagnose and explain the issue clearly and within a few minutes. To further make sure that the work was done currently, they stuck around and tested the equipment to make sure that it was performing consistently.I know if there’s ever something urgent that I’ll be calling them.

Awesome guys, super polite we thought we had a problem at home but they came over and they did an extremely simple fix. Because it was an extremely simple fix they did not charge us for the visit. Will definitely call again, super impressed by their professionalism and willingness to charge a fair price.

Not even a month after a repair was made it is flooding again. I called the company and they tell me that they joined with another company and therefore they are not able to honor the warranty they supposedly offered when the job was done. Also, about a week after the first job I called them to do an almost 7000 job to replace a leaking pipe, they did it and within 48 hours was leaking again and this time they told me that it was from another join and therefore I had to pay again to get it fixed. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this people.

Very friendly & professional. Would absolutely love to use them again but sadly the are now part of Gold Medal so now there’s a fee just to come out for an estimate where there wasn’t before. Their work is excellent though.

This company was amazingly responsive and ready to accommodate my schedule. The technician was professional and courteous. They checked my gas pipes and fittings for the whole system, performed pressure test, repaired all the leaks and replaced valves. Their price was fair giving the fact my situation needed immediate attention. I recommend them.

Called for a steam pipe to be replaced. Told me they’d meet me at a certain time. Turns out it was “a time frame” fine. I waited for an additional 3 hours and was quoted $2300!!! $2300 for a job that cost $700.00!!!! Okay, but heck no!!! I hate wasting my time and then the nerve to offer me that type of quote!! Two other companies quoted $700 and $650! This place is a rip off and does not respect your time! Never again!

I have used them several times. One time we didn’t know how to put on the heat when we first got the house and the plumber came in and told us what to do step by step and how to maintain it. I called them last night because the boiling was leaking. My husband fixed it before they came. They always come the same day and are reliable.

So far I just had A-Absolute out for a estimate, they came out to the home quick, and Ross was very professional and knowledgeable he easily explain the work to be performed & answered any questions or concerns I had. The estimate was free and in my opinion priced affordably. I’m still doing the responsible homeowner thing (mainly because of my wife, lol) and waiting for one last plumber to come by and give me an estimate but In my mine I’m set to go with A-Absolute for the work to be done.

Matt came out and was very good. Matt replaced kitchen faucet and the plumbing under the sink. He also replaced the bathroom sink and toilet. Matt was professional and efficient. He explained in detsils the work he performed and any information that was needed to maintain the performance of the items. I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

The entire experience was great. They told us what the two options would be and we are thankful that the first option worked. They were open and honest about if the same situation occurs again we will have to do option B but told us the cost ahead of time. We even picked their ear about a project we were thinking of doing and they gave us an open and honest answer again. We will definitely be calling them for services in the future!

In the midst of a Summer heatwave our AC broke down. By chance I was directed to A-Absolute Plumbing assuming I called the number of our longtime plumbing company which was still listed on the Internet but was actually out of business. Anyway the agent who took my call on a Sunday evening offered to Send out a technician right away but we scheduled this visit for the next morning. Since the unit was very old we were prepared to hear that it was beyond repair and we decided to install a new unit. The information about the specifics of the new unit was not sufficient so I tried to get someone on the phone the same day to make sure we would get the right energy efficient unit. This was the only thing that didn’t went well and when the new unit was delivered the next morning I saw that it didn’t match the SEER I had expected. I stopped the installation process and called Gil who was very understanding and changed the order with no extra cost! We really appreciate this cooperative attitude. The installation process was completed the same day and the team left the place after cleaning up thoroughly.This was a very pleasant and smooth experience of changing the AC unit within 2 days from start to end.I can only recommend this company!

Clogged sewer line. They thoroughly explained the issue, where it was and what needed to be done. They showed up on time and got to work. Discovered an unexpected septic tank open and full. They were able to get a truck to promptly arrive and pump the tank. They filled the tank and continued the initial job. We sure lucked out when we called A-Absolute Plumbing, to help with a sink disaster last Sunday afternoon. Ed came to help us out and he was great!!! Main sewer line backed up called A-Absolute, tech came within hour and was able to clear drain by jetting the line. This procedure was done quickly and clean. Since line was jetted no more back ups thanks absolute.

The man was very nice came out on emergency need. Could not fix said call company on demand hot water system. Said weeks to get part. We called another plumer after he left had it going in 30 min cost 75 $ not 800 as stated by other plumer if he fixed it

I set up my appointment for the $79 Heater Tune Up special with online chat. I explained to the technician that my home has a Utica Boiler and we have steam radiators. The technician assured me that the special covered my boiler. The technician explained what the tune up consist of and that my appointment was set for November 14, 2020 at 11:00am.It all went wrong when the A-Absolute plumber did not show up until 1:14pm. I did not receive a phone call of his ETA or anything. I was just about to leave out to make another 2pm appointment. I showed him to the boiler and he immediately said, “oh this is $550 to tune up. He immediately told me what he will have to do that will take 2 hours. I told him half that stuff is DIY and I have been doing it myself (like cleaning the sight glass) and draining the boiler. I told him I can’t wait another 2 hours and he was supposed to be here at 11am. I will not be calling A-Absolute to come out for anything ever because it was just unprofessional to tell me one price over chat and then say another price before even doing a full inspection. Meanwhile, I was supposed to get a quote on radiator services and dryer vent installation and the technician didn’t even know why he was at my house and what jobs he was supposed to be doing.

Matt from A-Absolute was great! I had an issue with a rock in my sewer line that was causing a backup in my basement. Matt came out same day I called, went through my options and told me he would be back Monday morning to fix it.. Matt showed up promptly and got to work. The job ended up being a bigger job than expected and i know it had to be frustrating to him, but he remained professional and patient wirh me, answered all of my questions, explained what he was doing and why he was having problems, and also allowed me to take pictures along the way. In addition to that.. when he left I could hardly tell so much of my floor had been dug up as he did a great job putting everything back together. He worked hard all day to make sure my issue was completed and fixed before he left, and I am so grateful he was the one to answer my call. This is the first review I have ever posted. We have had an issue with water in the basement for years and had many plumbers that were unable to find and fix the issue. Absolute visited and within 30 minutes had diagnosed the issue and was able to locate a hard to find cap to access the catch basin. The drain/pipe line was cleared and restored water to the house.

Technician was wonderful- my problem- it has been months and I have not receive my permit as promised- I called the company and promises are made- but no permit. Very disappointed- how is this going to impact me? Uncertain.

On 8-21 my AC unit needed to be serviced. It happened around 6pm. I went online and saw that Absolute was available 24 hrs so I decided to give them a try. The service man arrived as scheduled but it went downhill from there. When we told him the unit was in the attic he immediately advised me that the quoted of $99 to see what had to be fixed would now cost $350. Since I had provided all of this information when I spoke to Absolute to schedule the service, I asked him why the price would different and he said it was because the unit was in the attic. I don’t know much about AC repair, but I felt like he was trying to take advantage of me. This is not what I agreed to so I told him that I was no longer interested in using him. At that point he he got upset and stormed out. I decided to call back the company and they confirmed that the cost of the estimate was I fact $99. They weren’t sure why the service man said this. I don’t know why either? They agreed to send a different service man first thing in the morning. He arrived and fixed what turned out to be a minor problem. I was satisfied with the the service, but then he informed that I needed to replace the entire unit. The AC unit is only 10 years old and should could easily last another 5 years or, hopefully, longer. Maybe because I’m a woman, or because I don’t know anything about AC repair I feel like they wanted to take advantage of me. I paid for the repair and thanked the tech, but I won’t be calling them back.

Tech made 4 trips from truck to outdoor AC unit. Took 20 minutes. Replaced $24 part. Charged $450. Broke the next day. Today, only two days after supposed “repair”, two calls asking for a refund based on their one year guarantee have been unanswered.UPDATE: Tried to work with Gil. He insisted on sending out another tech. This one was unable to fix the problem (I even had to lend him my multimeter to check voltage!) Offered to refund my guaranteed $450 if I spent $5k to replace the outdoor unit. Wow.Found another company that only replaced the compressor for under $2k. Still no refund on their guarantee.UPDATE2: They were good enough to refund over half of their first visit. Now that seems fair for a failed 20 minute visit. My experience shows they are good/fast at dispatching, but they are expensive

They are punctual, professional in demeanor and will get the job done quickly. If you have work needed quickly they are your guys. They will charge the heck out of you however. Again the work is completed and good but ultra expensive. If not in a rush go elsewhere.

I had a rusty valve that was leaking, I called, they were able to have someone come and replace it when I was available. The person who they sent was very respectful and professional. The repair was finished quickly and cost as much as I was expecting, no surprises.

Serviceman came in. Spent 10 minutes. Told me he had Been doing this for a long time. He then told me there was nothing wrong with my air conditioning and this was as good as it could get. My air conditioner blew air but it was not cold. He was clearly wrong. The next day I called in another repair group and they fixed my air conditioner like new.

The AC unit was not cooling but after diagnosis I was told there was no problem with the AC unit. I asked then why it is not cooling down and I was told that it is just because the AC unit was old. Good thing I didnt cancel my other appointment and the tech found out that the compressor was not kicking in. Capacitor needs replacement.

I have used A Absolute several times now they have always been speedy and responsive. They helped me when my AC stopped working and with emergency issues with my heating. I bought an LG dishwasher from a major appliance store. I paid for installation but when delivery guys dropped off the dishwasher they said they could not install. At the last minute I called A-Absolute Plumbing. They schedule me an appointment for an hour later. Mike D arrived promptly . We had a problem with our water supply and there was no water coming to the house. A-Absolute plumbing (I literally just looked them up on line and called) were absolutely great. They were extremely responsive and had somebody at our door in an hour. The gentleman (Earl) was very experienced and knowledgeable. Early Monday morning before work I went down to my basement to iron my shirt and I stepped into a puddle of water. My Monday morning started with a broken hot water heater. I called numerous companies, left messages, and the only company to answer and assure me they would have a plumber to my house within 1 hour was A-Absolute plumbing and heating. Within a few hours I had a brand new 50 gallon hot water heater installed as promised. They removed and discarded of the old unit, left the boiler room cleaner then it was before they arrived and handled all the permits and paperwork. I called A-Absolute Plumbing regarding a Supply Line leak which caused water to leak from my bathroom into the kitchen. I found my technician to be very professional and honest. He came the same day that I called and he explained exactly what needed to be repaired to stop the leak. The job was completed the same day and I believe the price that I was charged was fair and reasonable. I would use this company again.

I could not recommend A-Absolute enough! We had an Urgent HVAC request, and initially tried to use AJ perri. They scheduled us 2 days out, and then when the date of service arrived they were late, and claimed that they couldnt find parking in Hoboken and needed to reschedule for a week later. After AJ Perri fell through, we reached out to Absolute and they were here in less than hour! Alex our technician was polite, speedy, and knowledgeable. We would definitely use Absolute again and plan on recommending them to other Hoboken residents.

We’ve used A-Absolute twice in one week, for two unrelated issues: one dealing with our kitchen sink and the other our bathtub. Each time they had someone out in a matter of hours and the issues were resolved in under an hour. We’re happy we found A-Absolute Plumbing. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Guys were phenomenal they did a great job they came in and found the leak fixed it and was out within five hours I highly recommend these guys did a wonderful job definitely going to hire them for other jobs within the building.

Wonderful service. Very nice. But unfortunately theyre not in business anymore. Theyre affiliated with Gold medal plumbing with whom Im not happy with and will NEVER use again because of their unwillingness to replace a pipe that they broke. They chose to put some kind of boot on instead of replacing the small section of pipe they had to replace. I priced the pipe at home Depot and it was $3 and change. I hope it was worth it for them to lose a customer. Like I said A Absolute was great when they were unfiliated with Gold Medal!

Unbelievable experience with this company. They seem like they want to help & provide good service. My ordeal was pricey, they wouldnt honor a price that was quoted because I couldnt find my copy of the receipt . They had a copy & still charged me an extra $300., The work wasnt done right...so dispatcher had to send another Tech who did the job properly & professional. Which ultimately cost way too much. I pray that they will work better in the future

As soon as the plumber George arrived, he quickly diagnosed the issue, and fixed the clogged drain pipe in 30 minutes, he also gave us many useful advises for future maintenance. Ive used Absolute several times now-once for my AC and the other for my Radiant floor heating-which most places dont even know how to fix. Both times they arrived on time, were professional and explained what they were doing every step of the way. I highly recommend using them.

Four trips (and two no-shows) this week and the problems persist (now no A/C at all!).

The price of $1600.00 was 2 high for replacing two water valves that went outside to water the lawn. The technician Didn’t check for leaks he just ask me and took my word for what the problem was and I am not a plumber. I took a wench and tighten the nut on the front water value and it stop leaking. I would have like it more if more interest in my problem was involved.

Matt V is a miracle worker! He was professional, conscientious, and took his time to understand my issue and best-RESOLVE it. My furnace was not working and my basement was a mess following a flood. Matt assessed my furnace and determine that a new control panel was needed; when he didn’t have it on hand, he went to the store to buy it and promptly returned. Afterward, he installed a new sump pump which has worked flawlessly ever since. EXCELLENT & affordable service is an understatement. I highly recommend this company and definitely Matt V. The first time they came the plumber broke the plate that was on my wall and said they were responsible. They tried to charge me 450 to 1100 to replace the cartridge and I couldn’t do that so they lowered it to 350. I said I would call back. Now that I call back, they have no recollection of them breaking my plate and also of the price quote. NOT TO MENTION that it took them 4 hours to come. Not only were they rude but they did not care nor try to help. Use a different service if you could !!!!! This Place will break something and say you need to replace it.

I called them at the last minute to have our toilet looked at on the beginning of the holiday weekend. They didn’t hesitate to come out and fix our issue immediately. They even showed up earlier than expect. Thank so much.

Avoid this company at all costs. They came by to give an AC quote for Freon and a leak test at over 3x the local AC company (Ideal refridgeration in Morris plains). I told them i was not going to go ahead with any work and they charged my credit card $212 for not even coming into the house or doing any resemblance of work. The owner and receptionist noted that i would not be charged but here i am disputing a $212 charge.Avoid at all costs as they may scam you. They told me they needed my credit card for a “deposit” to come back. When i asked the guy how he knew what the issue was without any work or diagnostics he confidently said “been doing this for over 20 years”. Scammers!!

My boiler was leaking and Absolute came out right away and fixed it. The customer service rep that I was speaking to was very polite and made scheduling the appointment very easy. I would definitely recommend this plumbing company. 5 stars !

I hired them diagnose an AC issue when they determined to be a bad transformer. They wanted $900 to replace the transformer and charged me $150 for the diagnosis. After two other people looked at the issue it was determined that the issue was not that and the transformer they said was bad was fully functional and for my my door bell, not even the AC. The actual repair cost me 240$ from someone else including their diagnosis. Im a little disappointed that the confused a doorbell for an ac system and have me a insane price point.

Company was contacted due to a gas leak on the hot water heater. PSE&G had already came out, turned off the gas. Company fixed leaking pipe. Would not turn gas back on and PSE&G had to come back out again. PSE&G guy was confused why I was charged $400 and they did not even replace the old shut off gas valve that is considered routine to change out when having a gas leak. PSE&G changed out valve for no cost.

Called and got an immediate response. Serviceman came 30 min faster than estimated. Really nice guy, very professional and clean work. Had my heat back up and running in less than 3 hours after initial call.

Worker was polite and neat. Work was completed in a timely matter.

Had a drain cleanse January 26th Sunday night cleared the sink for $415. Then 78 days later same back up and re charged to have the same drain re done again. Be ware they do not stand behind their work. Other plumber I called gave a 12 month guarantee for the drain seems fair. Will never use them again hate getting ripped off

Used absolute at my house. Water heater was leaking. They replaced the water heater the same day and great price. Office staff was very helpful on shutting my water off to help prevent damage. They even came out this week with everything going on. Great company

I was in need of a plumber followed by an AC technician to diagnose the water/flooding problem in my basement. Both gentlemen were very helpful and took the time to figured out what the issue was (even though it ended up not being an AC problem).

They had a technician out within 90 minutes, he gave me some options to choose from and helped me understand why he came up with the solutions he did. We decided to replace the furnace and AC. I’ve been dealing with this company for 5 business days, they have yet to fix the problem. In what world can you ask for payment before fixing the issue. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not waste your time or money with this company.
