Great Repair ServiceMy electric ukulele needed a setup so i took it to Roselle School of Music because they were close and since they sold me my first instrument in 1975 I decided to try themI was pleased with the same day service and the intonation is spot on!Ill be taking all my instruments here for service!
Great Music school with outstanding instructors. The best part about Roselle School of Music is that whatever your musical goals are, they can help you achieve them. I started out taking electric guitar lessons just trying to get good enough to play my favorite songs. I am now a double bass player learning classical music and am ready to audition for collegiate level music schools all thanks to the guidance and instruction of my private teacher. They also have a wide variety of instruments and accessories available for purchase. and if they dont have what you are looking for in stock, they can order it for you and work out unbeatable prices. I ordered a drum pad there and it arrived in 2 days! I wont consider any other music school.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Roselle school of music! Been taking my kids here for years for.lessons, and have made many purchases here.. always a great experience. JIM, the owner, is knowledgeable, and very honest. He is an excellent guitar player, and also teaches lessons here. We have taken, guitar, electric bass, upright bass, and saxophone lessons here. My Friends kids have taken percussion and loved it. My kids loved the summer band camp they offered. All the teachers are great. Not a fancy place, just a great small business with a lot of heart, and a hard-working owner..
Knowledgeable and friendly folks. These guys know there stuff well enough.
I bought a Groupon for $74 that I wasnt able to use it because we moved out of state. It happen that we are going to IL again and I called to schedule class for the original value of $74 that never expires. The guy on the phone literaly told me that since I wasnt interested to use the Groupon I blew it, and it is not in their interest to schedule my classes that I paid for!!! He didnt offer a refund when I asked what is the solution for this? Luckily I called Groupon and they refunded the money when I told them what happen otherwise I would have blew my money for place with the worst customer service in USA. This kind of response I would have only expect in not developed country, with not sense of business or PAYING customer respect!
This place is not worth the money... The owner Jim is a real knucklehed. The instructors arent very impressive, its too bad it took me so long to figure that out, after taking a lesson somewhere else. The interior decor is like being thown back into the 1970s, hideous. Band plays in the basement during lessons and you cant concentrate on the lesson being taught becuase of all the noise perculating from the floors. Its evident the other two 5 star reviews were written by the same person, that being the owner himself, Jim. Nobody in their right mind would go to this pre-school of music, knowing there are better schools of music within 5 miles of this hole in the wall!
Great place
