I’ve been using this office for year so was bummed AT FIRST to hear it was for sale and then I met the new staff and eye doctor’s and was shocked my first visit under new owner was completely incredible ALL NEW LATEST AND BEST Equipment no eye drops to dilate your eyes no puff’s of air blowing into your eyes and a staff that can handle joking my son ALL WAYS disliked going to the eye doctor and now he loves the once a year visit….Hands down I’d recommend This Eye Clinic without even a second thought…..THANKS GUY AND LOOKING FORWARD TO MY YEARS TO COME.

It has been awhile since Ive been to the optometrist and Im fairly new to the area. So on a recommendation from a coworker, I checked out these guys for an exam and new glasses. Im glad I did. Every person from my arrival to my departure was very friendly and top notch. They made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Keep up the good work. I highly recommend these guys.

I’ve been going to Rosemount Eye Clinic for a few years. This year I had my 1 year old totting along with me. I am so pleased with the staff’s welcome attitude towards her! Thankfully she was well behaved too. Dr. Lausch was very accommodating to her sitting on my lap during the exam! I continue to be a very happy patient here.

I just got new glasses through Yankee eye clinic. The technician was very knowledgeable about lenses and set me up with lenses that work wonderfully and have a layer in them to help with screen fatigue. My new glasses work great I am even wearing them to work where I used to only wear contacts as my glasses didn’t work well for distance/screen/closeup.These glasses work great for all three!

I just recently saw Dr. Kniefel and her staff at this location and was impressed with the technology used during the eye exam. I have complicated eye health and I felt that my concerns were addressed and I even received a follow up call from them the next day. Everyone I have interacted with so far has been friendly and helpful. I did not need new glasses at this visit but it looked like they have a large selection here.

Good technology and good bedside manner

I really try and buy local and I have purchased several glasses/sun-glasses from this location and each time I am let down. Over priced, poor customer service and hours that are not customer friendly. Do yourself a favor and use the Target eye-clinic. My wife has been going there for years and after my latest let down by Rosemount I too will be going there.

Best Eye Clinic Ever!!

This establishment does provide superior eye exams with which seems to be the latest technology. I have always been happy with the thoroughness of their exams. I am less satisfied with their optometry department in particular the pricing. I have significant astigmatism and my prescription is more complicated. That said, it seems to me their prices are much higher than what I would get at Costco. I was told after the fact that the glasses they sell are far superior and that if I compared the two I would discover the difference. Time will tell, but I have not noticed this quality distinction in past purchases

My family and I have been going to them for years! I dont ever want to change. They are very knowledgeable with different eye problems, all the new glasses, and contact lenses. We have been so lucky with how they work with our insurance and get us the best possible price.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful the entire time. I would recommend this eye clinic to anyone! And even though my insurance was not a common one, they took the time to get the details on it. Very helpful and no pressure when deciding which frames to get for my glasses, and ended up getting 2 pairs with their in office special!

I would appreciate a call back. Your office is open but your voicemail says it is after hours and I cannot get ahold of anyone. Your “importance of education our patients” is hardly what was done well to solve the issue today.

I experience with Rosemount eye clinic has always been the very best. They take their time and do everything I rihri they even take your blood pressure,, my were very high...but I gotten it until control, thinks too them. Love it.

Our family goes here. We like the service but its a busy practice. They see the last patient at 4:50 on weekdays and dont have spots on weekends.My middle school-aged daughter was evaluated recently for contacts. Was told this was an easy process. Had the evaluation and fitting appointments booked at once but they had to order lenses.Lenses are in but now we have to wait >3 weeks to get the fitting rescheduled. She needs them for sport.Not overly happy right now.

They are thorough in their exams and give complete explanations of exam findings . They verify insurance coverage before the appointments so clarifications/questions can be resolved ahead of time.

My primary clinic was Yankee Eye Clinic but since they had some construction on their site they recommended Rosemount Eye Clinic, which was a very bad mistake. The doctor was a quack, he focused more on selling stuff rather than treating. They changed my prescription and after ordering box of new contacts seems like the new prescription was wrong. Will never go to Rosemount Eye Clinic ever.

Front end staff was friendly, examination went smoothly and Dr. Lusch was very informative. I had a great experience, and now have a great pair of glasses. Thank you!

Exceptional service from Charlotte at the Front Desk, Leticia the Technician, and Dr. Denise Kniefel the Optometrist. All interactions were professional and very friendly. My adult daughter who was having an exam has developmental disabilities and was very apprehensive. Everyone at the Eye Clinic put her at ease and the ability not to have her eyes dilated and instead use the scanner was a huge plus!

I needed a new contact prescription and decided to come here. Not impressed at all.There was a mix-up in communication as far as what brand of contacts I was supposed to receive. The optometrist asked if I wanted Biofinity lenses and I mentioned that I have been wearing them for over 20 years and that id like to have those again. I thought he placed the order for them, and when my order came in, I was met with Aquavision. Well, when I called in to see about getting Biofinity, I was met with, well those are Biofinity, theyre just under our label. Which is red flag number 1....what is the point to take some other manufacturers product, and then re-brand it to your own? Why not just sell whats there and make your money? Why the extra hassle? Plus, she was very hesitant to actually order me the contacts I thought I was getting in the first place.After telling this lady that I wanted Biofinity instead, I was asked why (which is technically none of her business), but I replied that I had been wearing them for over 20 years and trust the name ive worn for so long, and then I made mention that when it comes to my vision, I want to make sure I trust what im putting in my eyes, and then I said ya know?....no answer. I was told that the order was placed and that theyd come in 3-5 business days.When I went to pick them up, I figured Id try to figure out this whole other label thing. The lady responded back that theyre part of some group of optometrists with over 4,000 locations, and that you wont see the label anywhere else, and it prevents against buying expired lenses that other retailers will sell, and that they pass the savings onto me as the customer. So red flag number 2....youre telling me that Cooper Vision is going to allow you to take their contacts and put your name on it so you can then sell it for a cheaper price?!? So whos making the money??? My BS meter is starting to twitch here. Youre also going to tell me that by taking another product, printing an entirely new box and replacing the Cooper Vision Biofinity label on the actual contact container inside, allows you as a group, to sell these contacts for a cheaper price?!? Folks, my meter is past full at this point. Just for giggles, I asked what the price difference between Biofinity and these Aquavision ones were, and she said it was $10. So youre doing all that extra leg work for $10?!?! Yeah....not buying it....not for one single second.Heres what I think happens....their Aquavision product is indeed NOT a Biofinity lens, and is instead some cheap knock off that lacks the quality of what an actual name brand contact would have, and then charges the insurance the exact same price as Biofinity and then they pocket the rest. It wouldnt be the first time something like this has happened.I asked who would be eating the cost this time around and she said they would due to their mix-up, but I will for sure never be back. Other times ive walked in there, ive been met with uncooperative attitudes and rude people.Take your business somewhere else folks.

Horrible communication skills with the staff here. No messages are passed from doctor to front desk staff. Rarely answer the phones and extremely PUSHY with sales. Would not recommend.

I did enjoy my visit with Dr. K; however, this clinic is all about receiving all sorts of extra incidentals and expenses that my insurance wont cover! How is that possible? This is an annual, preventative exam! The glasses are extremely overpriced and the sales woman in the store push for the highest cost of frame. Are these people on commission? Makes you wonder....please reconsider when attending this eye clinic. I will be going to a different clinic next time.

Three insults on my one and only visit lead me to write this review. First, they are too rushed to be of any help to the customer (they run between exam stations in different rooms and I couldnt keep up (they literally left me in the hall way and hollered out a room for me to follow their voice). Second, when I flinched as they were poking my eyes, the clerk said it wasnt an important eye test anyway and stopped before finishing (if it wasnt important why do they do it? Doctor is no where to be found, where is the quality?). Third, a manager reprimanded staff in-front of me (the clerk was scolded for not helping me timely as I sat and waited my turn, the clerk pleaded with her that she was busy but was scolded again). Also, it should be noted that the front staff will say anything to get your business. Before making my routine vision exam, I asked the staff to make sure my insurance will pay for it. I told her I wont make the appointment unless I know insurance will cover it. Someone called me back over two hours later and said insurance would cover it. Then when I arrived for my appointment, I asked again and they confirmed insurance would cover it (she maybe didnt check this as she just was yelled at by her manager in front of me). When I checked out, the clerk asked for a partial payment for the items insurance didnt cover (incidentals/taxes). After all that, insurance DENIED EVERY CHARGE. So, after asking three times and getting confirmation three times, ROSEMOUNT EYE CLINIC STAFF MEMBERS NEVER VERIFIED MY INSURANCE WAS ACCEPTED. They lied to business - They never checked if they were an in-network provider. $230 for a basic exam - which will get you 35 minutes waiting and running with the clerks and 4-5 minutes with an actual doctor. The Doctor was nice enough, but again, very rushed (talked so fast I couldnt understand half what she said).

Not too happy here. 1. I brought in empty contact lens boxes as I was told to when I set up my first appointment. At the appointment the doctor told me that I would not be charged for a contact lens fit due to having the boxes. But afterward the exam the people in the lens area said I would be charged. Awkward, very awkward. 2. I ordered the contacts and paid for them. A few weeks later I received a bill for additional monies that they said I owed from the lens purchase. I will not be going back.

Brought my wifes broken glasses in and they fixed them right away. Fantastic service.

Updating review, The eye care was great. The misconception of them writing to me in an email stating that they accept my insurance was not! So not only do I have a bill for $270 for the whole exam, I thought was covered. They now tell me it’s my responsibility to check insurance. So my fault for assuming that part of their job was to actually not want to take honest money from people. Disclaimer to other perspective customers. Even if they say or write they accept your insurance, check for yourself!Response to clinic, 1-17-19It was not said to me by any of the staff by verbal or email to check my own insurance . the email stated to me that “we do accept Aetna”, and had me email a picture of my insurance card deceiving me to think the clinic in deed checks it to make sure I am accepted . Are you saying i had something other than a routine eye exam ? Or are you explaining how insurance works in general ? Because I do have covered insurance for annual eye exams. Only to confirm something as simple as, we the costumers are in deed responsible to always check to see if we are covered, and now I’m going to be paying for an annual “eye” exam that I am covered for by my insurance, just not through you.Ps my HR department provides me with the number and site for my insurance benefits. Since finding this goldmine of an eye clinic, I refuse to consider going anywhere else. Everyone I work with is extremely friendly and helpful.One of my favorite things about this clinic is that their policy is that if something happens to one of my contacts (defective, ripped, damaged, etc) they will give their clients a replacement free of charge. Their belief is that the health of the eye is a priority and want to do the best they can to protect that. In 5 years of going here, I have only used that one time, but it is a comfort to know they actually care about me and my long-term well being - no anxiety of having to wear a lens more than the amount of time I should!Dr Kniefel is wonderful and I always look forward to my annual exam (which would be hard to say of most annual exams for other things!). Its amazing to find a great place like this so close to home and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new optometrist!

The optometrist was very professional and knowledgeable however the technician was absolutely unprofessional and rude. The atmosphere is rushed and an environment where you cant ask questions. My family will take our business elsewhere.

My family has been going here for several years. We have had excellent service from both Dr luesch and Dr Kniefel along with thier optometry staff. Unfortunately, the eyewear/ glasses department is another story... over the years service has been unpredictable and fair at best. Early last year I dealt with a very rude consultant when making a purchase. Most recently, I am dealing with my sons glasses that have been on backorder for several weeks with no follow up... maybe time to buy our eyewear online????

The service was very unprofessional. I went to pick up my glasses and they didnt have a case for my glasses. The guy hands me a case that does not shut, he said the vendor didnt give us any cases, if you want one you have to drive to Yankee clinic in Eagan. I was shocked wouldnt it be professional to say we will get one for you. I was upset with that kind of poor service after i have spent money on glasses that i thought was from a professional eye clinic . So i called to speak with a manager in the morning . The person i talked to said i will have her call you right away, well that has been 7 hours I guess there customers mean a lot to them. My family & i will not come to Rosemount eye clinic ever again.

Almost like the old tv show Cheers: A place where everyone knows your namethat was my post from 2013. Here is my post for today:December 2016 I went in to TLC for a PRK (laser surgery). The requirement was that I needed to have periodic checkups (included with fee) with my primary eye doctor. A person from Rosemount Eye Clinic called me and we set all the dates, which included December 14, 2017, the year anniversary of my laser surgery. Just got a bill from Rosemount Eye Clinic. What? This was the final followup...WRONG. They let me know today, that when I had the laser surgery they reset my normal annual eye checkup from March to December. My followup were complete and my appointment on December 14, 2017 was my new regular annual checkup... HUH? WHA? Nobody said a thing on December 14 about this. I am disappointed and appalled that a local business would not communicate this. Maybe I missed something. The gal who set my appointments last year (while I added them to my Google calendar 1 by 1) may have said it and I didnt hear it. Regardless...I felt deceived and frauded. They have lost a long time customer, and will lose more if I had my way. $230 out of pocket for a retired guy stings...lesson learned

Very unprofessional.. where you try the glasses on the lady mocked my insurance.. Tried to get new frames I over hear a guy saying no freebies here we play by the rules. Then to top it off the girl with piercings all in her face promisespecially to put a rush on my glasses because I needed them to pass my license test in September and guess what its half way thru October and I still dont have them. 🖕 Rosemount eye clinic period!
