Great manufacturing right here in Austin.
Ive Worked here since 2012.. Ive learned ALOT and the owners are like a Second Family. I would Definitely Recommend working here. Place has changed for the BETTER, Since I started working here (7 years ago) and the owners had just purchased the business a few months before---Good Benefits- (medical, dental & vision, ) 401k, Good Pay (after you show your value), Been working 50-60 hours a week since I started 7 years ago, Night Turn now has 1$ Shift Differential, 2nd shift hours: 4:15pm-2:45am Monday thru Friday -SATURDAY USUALLY OPTIONAL 8HR DAY.The employees are a GREAT bunch of People, who have NO PROBLEM helping/showing you how to do something. Ive been machining since 1994 and never worked with people who go out of there way if you need help like these guys. Same with the owners. Be honest, Be an adult, Take responsibility for your actions, DONT PASS SCRAP as GOOD, Work when your on the clock, and they will LISTEN and HELP any way they can, Ive personally seen them HELP there EMPLOYEES.Just like all jobs it has its bad days. Its not a Unicorn, but for me, this is the LAST JOB I ever want to work at,...UNLESS,... I open my own shop!. There are a few things that do NEED Improvement, #1)ORGANIZATION of Tools and Fixtures, #2)PROGRAMS NEED SAVED after EDITING, which are the (ONLY 2 Things) and would **BENEFIT the Company** and **Us Employees**, How?...1) would have FASTER SET-UPS and parts out faster. IT REALLY Sucks spending 3 to 4 hrs on a set-up, because tooling/fixtures are HARD to find, or having to RE-EDIT a program that we just ran a week ago and nobody SAVED it to the server. ***2 Simple things** But, Seems the HARDEST to fix!! (Organization of Tools/Fixtures and Saving Edited Programs) would make this company **SERIOUS PROFIT**, from reducing set-ups to 30/40 min, instead of hrs and sometimes days..it does take time with so many parts we run, well get there. IF I have to do it one program at a time! There has been Alot of times Id get the programs to run a part in (30 min) and the original run time was (1.5hrs) and Id come in the NEXT DAY and a NEW JOB would be on the machine and the PROGRAM was ERASED and NOT Saved! Myself I hate waiting for parts..FASTER,..FASTER,.. FASTER, SPEEDS AND FEEDS..until the tool breaks, then back it off 10%..Big Cuts, Use The Biggest tool, Max Spindle Speed and Feed It... Hope to start my OWN SHOP one day. Look out Titans of Machining!!
