I got a really good processor, motherboard, ram, cpu cooler and power supply from them back in August for a really great price.
I just ordered parts for Newegg and its by far the most advanced computer Ive ever had they are so professional Ive been with Newegg for over 15 years in my opinion they are the superior computer component store.
Dont bother buying from Newegg. I ordered a few parts for my PC, but I ended needing the money instead. So I sent back a graphics card and an SSD to get some money back. Now after multiple phone calls, emails and a month and a half of trying to work with their returns department, Im still out over $300 and nobody at the company seems to know what they are doing. I would strongly suggest not doing business with Newegg unless you like to lose your money.
If you love spending 5+ hours on the phone with them in order to get a discount that they promised you, then youll LOVE NewEgg. It was only 10%, but nobody should have to do that. Plus, their logistics are a mess. If there was a better option, Id take it.

Ordered over $1000 of parts for my sons birthday. UPS driver essentially stole the packages. They were delivered to an Amazon Warehouse 2 miles from my house and then marked Delivered LOL. Filed claims with both UPS and Newegg, it’s been over 7 business days and no resolution from either party. The parts should have been here days before his birthday, still no parts. Customer service is terrible, they “issue” claims and take their sweet time. UPS is a joke, they don’t care about you or your packages or their thieving employees. NEVER AGAIN. Going to Micro Center.There were 3 packages total, all 3 were “lost” LOL. UPS just updated giving me some bogus form to fill out, what a joke and a complete waste of time.
I would rate it lower if I could, I had an issue with the package that was sent before (Showed a deliver by date when ordering and paying, when date came they claimed it was really a different date). I should have never used them again. With everything that is going on with the USPS I made sure it would be shipped using UPS. Well they fail to mention they only use UPS to give it to USPS. Now they are doing a claim process that can take an additional 7-10 business days, and I am sure even longer after that to get my money back. I ordered the package July 19th with estimated 4-7 business days delivery time frame. it is now August 8th.I will literally use any other company even if I am paying more just to avoid NewEgg. If I hear of anyone even THINKING of using NewEgg they will get an ear full from me, and my recommendation will be to use ANYONE else. I am now in the process of finding every review site I possibly can, so I can blast newegg. That is how bad my experiences with this company have been. I will be loud and vocal to any and all about it.
I ordered a Danby outdoor built in refrigerator Oct. 18. Third party seller Timeless Appliances shows in stock and delivery 3-5 business days, expected arrival 10/24-10/26. The following week I had no shipping info. Called and the seller says they dont stock and it needs to arrive in New Jersey before they can ship it. The following week I call again because they sent wrong tracking number. Newegg tells me the invoice wasnt created on time. I wait for the tracking info to be corrected and call twice in two days to get it. Wait a few more days to see the status says waiting for pickup. I call the carrier and they tell me its on its way to CA and then needs batch routed to AZ and then a local delivery and the due date is Nov. 15! I informed Newegg that the website still shows this item in stock and 3-5 day delivery. Its fraud and completely untrue that the seller stocks it and can ship in 3-5 days even if they had it in stock. I am disgusted by this process that took hours of my time and 13 days of waiting for nothing and having to start over with my purchase elsewhere.
This company is the BEST online retailer for computer electronics! They are the most reliable from product perspective and the quickest from a shipping and handling perspective. I have been dealing with them for over 10 years and I love them! My slogan is you can save 2 to 50 bucks going somewhere else only to have a broken or damaged item that might not even be what you were looking at or you can NewEgg!
As a computer tech, I have bought a lot of stuff here and elsewhere. They always have great prices / sales. On the occasion that I had issues with the information on the site being incorrect, they made it right, and fixed their site (unlike others).

They suck! If I could give a 0 star I would. TV arrived broken. They wouldnt take it back because I was just outside of the return window. I didnt open the box which is my fault but out over $400 bucks. Have ordered from them for years...never again. Order local and save yourself a ton of headaches.
I have tried for two days now to purchase a new egg gift card. I have a rewards visa card through work that I wanted to apply towards a purchase. It seemed like a simple enough thing to do, however, new egg wont let you use two credit cards to split an order, you have to buy a gift card, then use that along with your other method of payment. Fine, its an extra hoop to jump through, but I was willing to do it. I had issues getting the gift card purchase to go through. After two failed attempts I assumed I was typing the wrong verification information in, so I called visa to check. Nope, everything I had been using matched what they had on file, and they informed me that the verification was failing from new eggs end of things. There was one thing that they thought might be causing the issue, the e-mail I had on the visa account was my work e-mail. So I created a new new egg account using my work e-mail and tried replacing the order and it was denied yet again. At this point I called new egg customer service and explained the issue and was told that everything on their end matched up, but they would send my issue over to some internal department to check on the problem. I got an e-mail shortly there after from the Verification Department saying that the error had been corrected and that I was free to try placing my order again. I tried running the exact same transaction this morning and it was denied. At this point my frustration was pretty high and in a moment of anger I had the clarity to think Why not see if Amazon has the parts you want? I have built several computers over the years, and have used new egg for all of them, it had never occurred to me to check another site. But, they did indeed have the exact parts I was looking for, at the same price new egg had listed. The only difference was that I was going to use a 10% promotional discount when I placed my order with new egg. Turns out, Amazon makes you purchase a gift card too if you want to use different cards. I went through the order process and had my gift card in less than 5 minutes, and placed my order for the components I wanted in less than 10. Whats more, I was just placing an order for two components out of about 8 I plan on getting for this particular build. I am extremely disappointed with everything new egg did in this attempted transaction. I am fairly certain that unless something changes in new eggs ordering system, I will be sticking with Amazon for all my future computer projects. Further more, new eggs site only allows you to review the products they sell, not the actual service they provide. It is stated on their page for leaving a review that anything said specifically about new egg will be deleted. I am sure its because of issues like this.
NewEgg restricts the content of their reviews - they disallow criticism of their service. This artificially inflates the perceived quality, however, their service is not as good as competitors from my limited experience. The wait times for online support are very long and the returns often involve shipping charges.
NEWEGG SELLERS BEWARE - Newegg will copy your product and sell a cheaper version of it to undercut you. Newegg owns the brand Rosewill, and if you sell on Newegg they will collect your data to copy your best selling products. Then they will rank their Rosewill branded product higher than yours despite having a higher price, worse reviews, and worse quality. Shady business practices that hurt anyone willing to partner with Newegg and the products sold on there a poor value.
Newegg used to be my go to online store for all things PC / electronic, but those days are OVER!!! This company used to rock in the early 2000s, but they clearly took a turn for the worse. Ive purchased countless PC components over the years as I build my own PCs for myself and friends and family. Today, I wait on hold for close to an hour after being told 18 to 20 minute wait. Even tried online chat only to be put in a queue over 400 deep, got down to 107 then freezes. Yes, not exaggerating in the slightest. Why am I calling, because I ordered a laptop computer, and was sent a CABLE instead!!! And not even a good cable, an obsolete RS-232 projector cable!!! I realize mistakes happen but clearly this third party they partner with has some issues looking at their reviews (DigitalShopper), a mistake I wont make again. How is it possible that you order an Acer laptop and are sent an obsolete Dell cable??? It seems that as Newegg attempts to stake their claim into all other things electronic, they are losing sight of what brought them success, computers and GOOD customer service. Its only December 5th and you have to wait an hour to get someone on the phone??? Imagine the week before Christmas.... Once I finally get a service rep on the phone, they call the third party and big surprise, they are now out of stock. Then they have the audacity to tell me they will do me a favor and refund my money but let me keep the obsolete cable. Really, a courtesy to keep a useless cable??? I used to have a lot of faith in Newegg but they are not the company they used to be, therefore I cannot recommend them, nor will I be doing business with them in the future.
Worst customer service ever. Their computer systems were hacked, I informed them of the incident, and some service rep who doesnt understand the slightest thing about IT security shut down my account. Im told I can open up a new NewEgg account with a different email address, and the existing account, even if the password is changed, is known to have some type of security vulnerability according to their representative. This makes absolutely no sense, but the representative told me that I cannot be assisted any further. Great job NewEgg, youve lost a longtime customer!
Longtime Newegg customer, and Ive done tens-of-thousands of dollars with this company over the years, and Ive never returned a product for any reason. I bought an AMD CPU for about $275.00 and it was defective out of the box. I sent it back expecting to receive a replacement or a refund, but instead they told me that I had damaged the CPU and I was not entitled to a refund or replacement.I had to threaten them with a lawsuit to get their attention and they finally gave me a partial refund of $245.00. Overnight, they made an enemy of me for no reason.
I usually write positive reviews. So im not just on here to vent. dont buy from NewEgg - if you want to be happy just stay away. it will suck out hours of your life and eat at your soul. even if its a good deal. it will never come. i bought something on black friday cuz it was $5 cheaper. order just sat there for 2 weeks then they cancelled it. now I missed out on everything. Called NewEgg -- 1.5 hrs on hold...called twice...they do nothing. tried everything. im done. their customer service service team - after talk until im blue in the face, was completely disinterested in helping me. complete rubbish. they are done.
Have bought from Newegg for years. Even if I bought the wrong thing, I know I can return it - which I did with a subwoofer. Great customer service. Love the emails and Twitter feed announcing deals. Many times their promos are cheaper than Amazon. Butyou have to keep your eyes open because those prices will go up whenits over - or if the item is a little older. One of the best things about Newegg is the reviews. Not just that Geeks write them. Not just that you can trust the reviews 100%. Most important: Newegg does not combine reviews. One size SSD not thrown in with another - unlike Amazon who doesnt give a damn. They dont make you search for the exact version you are looking for through 15 pages of inane reviews. Using their reviews all the tech I bought - LCDs, SSDs, cables have not just worked but kept working.The selection choice is always better on newer products. You do haveto be careful which vendor you use for the best price and customer service.Stick to Newegg. Great reviews. Great prices. Great customer service. Buy with confidence here.

Very upset having come from 40 miles away for a will call pickup order(first and last time using this service through this company) to find out missing half of the order, either the person who packed it didnt fill it correct or person that checked in didnt do correct. Either way wasted three hours of my day and dealing with LA traffic to have to go home and wait 48-96 hours for credit top show up and reorder item and now pay for delivery charge since item not in warehouse in CA. Only reason drove to will call cause needed it right away and amount of time and gas spent wasnt going to save but would have item by time i needed it, but that all fell through because someone didnt do job correct at this company.
Neweggs Rowland Heights Will Call center has been remodeled recently, adding 2 demo rooms jammed with state of the art tech gadgetry. I could have spent a couple of hours there.

NewEgg has always been a trusted source of computer hardware....Well until recently. I recently attempted to purchase 5000$ worth of NAS equipment from them. Their handling of the situation was incompetent. The order used NewEgg and 2 third party vendors for fulfillment. This is not an unusual situation with NewEgg. But what happened next was the worst bit of customer service I have ever experienced. NewEgg held the part of the order that they were fulfilling but passed my company card on to their 3rd party vendors. The 3rd party vendors fulfilled the order no problem. Newegg however required a phone call for fraud protection. That was baffling how could they pass on card information to a 3rd party vendor that they themselves thought was fraudulent. We called newegg to verify the card information 2 days went by and they had still not fulfilled the remaining part of the order. After much waiting on hold and several people who could not help me even if they wanted to. We were left with an impossible situation in which they had fulfilled part of an order but for fraud reasons refused the rest of the order. Apparently newegg thinks that as a corporation it is ok to risk their 3rd party vendors reputations and merchant accounts but not their own.I have lost all confidence in newegg to handle my CC information. I will never do business with them again. This is far and away the worst customer service I have ever received.

Almost all of the products you find on Newegg are a lot cheaper on Amazon.For instance, I bought the Logitech G930 wireless headset from Newegg and then ventured to its competitor, Amazon and to my founding, it was $50 cheaper on Amazon. Sucks for me, right? But I noticed that the item from Newegg came with its Iron Egg Price Guarantee icon, so I felt revealed that I could get the $50 back. I emailed the site about the price match and to my surprise, they DENIED my claim.TL;DR: Amazon is a lot cheaper than Newegg and Neweggs customer service is terrible.
I was given a gift card on 1/15/19, I used it 1/17/19 to preorder a game that released 4/26/19. The card exp date was 4/15/19 so on 4/24/19 I got a order cancelled notice. I have called customer service 5 time and was given a mix of to bad and we will send you a new one in 1/2 days. New card was never reissued after 2 weeks of calling.
Purchased an re-certified Ausus T100 convertible laptop for 250$ with a 50$ mail in rebate. Newegg shipped the laptop without any box or documentation needed to redeem the rebate. After spending hours on the phone and having 3 weeks passed while they reviewed my claim they finally came back and said the rebate was now expired and I was out of luck. Extremely poor customer service, I will never do business with this company again. If you cannot honor your sales contract you cant be trusted.
Newegg used to be *the* place to buy computer parts. Their website made it easy to configure everything youd need to build a computer; their prices were the best around; their RMA process was simple and fast; and their free or cheap shipping through FedEx was always matched so shipments from multiple warehouses would always arrive on the same day.However, the store has gone downhill over the past several years, starting around ... probably 2008. Their free shipping company changed, first switching to UPS, then to DHL. They no longer try to match shipments from multiple warehouses to get things to you on the same day. Their return policy is one of the worst on the net, requiring you to pay for shipping back to Newegg *and* with no option for cross-shipping. Their monitor return policy is particularly bad, and youll be hosed if you order an expensive monitor that comes with a few dead pixels.The one thing that hasnt gotten notably worse is the website - for the most part, the newegg website is still as easy to navigate as ever. Unfortunately, a great website does not a good store make.
Took my money on December 24th. As of February 2nd still no TV. I called and finally made them refund of my money. Buyer beware! I will never be purchasing anything else from newegg again. I called customer service 5 times, every time they told me they would expedite the process. Empty promises
I ordered Combo: 1868210 with these items.Intel Core i7 4790 3.6GHz Haswell Quad-Core CPU, MSI Z97 MOBO, G.SKILL Ripjaws X 8GB MEM, WD Blue 1TB HDD, Rosewill Green 630W PSU, RAIDMAX Cobra Z Case. When I recieved all items but the motherboard I contacted them and they said I never purchased the combo but instead purchased everything individual. I KNOW what I ordered. How do you explain the amount I paid being exactly the amount for the bundle? They refused to send me the motherboard and offered to credit me $76 but only after I purchased the motherboard. NO thanks I dont want credit to your store so you can screw me again. Needless to say I will never buy from them again. I only bought from Newegg because they were cheaper but in the end it cost me an extra $100 anyways so it wasnt worth it. I will buy all my computer parts from Tiger direct from now on. They have always delivered what I ordered from them and they have great customer service.

Overall I was pretty satisfied with Newegg. I bought a new Samsung Smart TV from them And it arrived at my house the next morning. Unfortunately the wifi features on the TV broke 4 days later. They 2nd day aired it to the returns warehouse (which stupid ups took 5 days to deliver) and within a week had a new tv overnighted. A little slow on the turn around but partly not their fault. Great communication.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!Purchased over $1000.00 in parts for building a PC and 3 of those parts totaling around $600.00 were defective.Thats just the first part of why I dont recommend new egg. The second part is that I went to exchange them with Newegg and they claimed that they only received one item rather than 3.They only exchanged the cheaper part totalling about $50.00 but never exchanged or even returned the remaining $550.00 worth of parts!!!I called and emailed for weeks and even spoke with the CEO as well as the trade commission and Nothing happened.It was later found out that the parts were stolen from the Newegg receiving staff but they never sent me the replacement parts or gave me a refund because too much time had passed!!!
Purchased a tv with a two year warranty, tv lasted two month ! they did nothing .. put me on hold and transferred me for 3 and a half hours never helping me just giving me to the next do nothing sales person . The best part is when i called back a few days later they started the game all over again horrible any one want a class action suite ?
RMA process is a joke. Customer service is beyond terrible. Went 15 days without a hdd after the doa drive arrived. Not one person will chat on the phone always refer you to online chat.
Very disappointed with these guys. Ordered something from them and paid for overnight shipping on a Tuesday to have by the weekend. On Thursday my order was still processing. I called and they said that I would have to wait for the automated system to update, even though I needed what I ordered by the weekend. I cancelled the order.
