The staff was really helpful finding the correct part for a custom Jeep Rubicon. Even though the computer and book both called out one part, they did the extra work to ensure I got the correct part... which was different than what both the computer and book called for. They werent put out by it either. It was their idea to measure just to be sure of the fit. This extra effort on their part is what caught the error. Super friendly and helpful.

Let me tell you something. Levvy? I think his name was. Sweetest gentleman Ive met. He helped me asap. I knew my engine light was on, but I told him my battery light was on. He came out and tested my battery. I had to excuse myself for being incorrect and he didnt second guess it or give me any kind of attitude. First time Ive ever had that happen. When I told him it was the engine light he was a smooth criminal. I choose these guys over OReilly. Autozone got it going on...thanks guys.

Ive used this store for 20+ years. Yes, the old guy is the best! I did not get him today (12-30-2020 @ 14:04 CST) I got David. Very rude. I had a part that the Greenville store said was broken. It was not. No big deal it was a $15 Part. I had no use for the part as mine was good. I put it back in the box with receipt. David took it out of the box and asked if I installed it. Yes, I replied. He chewed me out as he refunded my money. Im good if its outside your return policy, I read the policy and it looks to me like Im good. But to be treated this way was unacceptable. I may not return to any AutoZone. Thats for the help David I hope they did not take the money out of your check as I feel they did!

This is the second time I have been to this exact AutoZone with the same thing happened. Im new to Texas and dont know which ones are professional or unprofessional

They did not go out and inspect vehicle to see which brakes were bad so Im rating them a to stead of five. If its because of the covid-19 pandemic I understand but if they choose not to go out there and expect the customers vehicle I wont stop there anymore so the experience was bad

This is the best location Ive been to, ever. The employees are always helpful, very knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, timely, friendly, professional, and polite.The store is a little smaller, so they have a more limited selection than your average AutoZone, but the employees *more* than make up for that.Shame on anyone whos stolen tools from their lending program!

I called about my battery warranty. The male on the phone was so rude. I will drive to Garland. I have never received this poor level of service at AutoZone anywhere. I am an AutoZone customer.
Its either hit or miss with this location. Sometimes the works are nice and helpful other times some of the employees seem like they hate their job. Always seems to be well stocked.
I’ve been coming to this place for a few years now, since it’s close to me. However, I’ve noticed that a lot of the parts from this store are defective. I purchased a fuel pump in the past that wasn’t working right. I have also purchased an alternator that had issues as well so I just returned it. Just recently I purchased a gas cap for my car since my old gas cap broke. After using it for a day my check engine light kept turning on. I went and bought a dealer gas cap and the light went away. I used my card to buy the fuel cap and tossed the receipt away because I had some faith that Autozone wouldn’t sell me a piece of trash gas cap. I was wrong and because I tossed my receipt away the best they could do was give me a stupid store credit. Which I will probably not even end up using. When I tried to ask for cash back the manager and two employees threw a fuss. The employee who helped me seemed like he was new but required some assistance. Overall not a fan of this place.

I brought my battery for test Thursday and they charge it for me. It was late in the afternoon so i had to come back next day to pick it up. I came to pick it up and according to their record it is fully charge. So i took it home and installed it. Car start wonderfully. I thought that was it. Then I drove my car to Honda Lute Riley to get an Oil Change. Came home after that. About an hour later I decided to go do some shopping. I started my car and it was not responding. It wont start (Same starting problem). Took it out and brought it back to AutoZone to check. Machine Tester says battery was about 20%. So they took it to charge again. Next morning, I came to pick up the battery. The rep (Manager), came back and told me the battery is bad. So I decided to buy a new battery. Took it home and installed it. Started the car with no problems. I drove the car to AutoZone to have them test the battery and Alternator just to be sure. The manager run the test and found the Alternator Failed. So I bought a new Alternator. Took it home and installed it. Later drove it back to AutoZone to get it tested. Manager test it and found the Alternator Failed. What are the odds right, its a new Alternator. He tested again with another unit. Same result, failed. Manager told me he will order a new Alternator, I can pick up next day (Sunday). I told him okay, but I told him also that I will go to Honda Lute Riley to get a thorough diagnosis just in case it could be something else causing the problem because I dont want to go through the installation process again as it is a pretty laborious job, especially, if the problem could be something else. So, Monday, I brought the car to Honda Service Lute Riley of Richardson. I do a complete diagnosis of about two hours. Their conclusion was that there was nothing wrong with the Alternator or any other components that may cause the problem. They also told me that the device that AutoZone use to check is not accurate because the car mechanics is designed not to charge the battery during idle. Only when you ram up the car will it charge the battery. So it seems I bought a new Alternator from AutoZone based on a faulty advice. AutoZone tester unit results made me buy a new Alternator. I dont think it was the rep (Manager)s mistake, but rather a wrong diagnosis by their machine and perhaps the technique was wrong. No matter the methods, it was a mistake by AutoZone. I came back to talk to the Manager who had helped me, but he was off, so I spoked with another Manager (Chris). He was very defensive and basically told me that I should have gotten a 2nd opinion before I bought the Alternator. He wont give me back my original Alternator and dont want to give me any compensation. even if it was just a $100 gift card, I would have accepted it. My wife is furious, but thats another story. He basically told me that its too bad, I am out of luck, nothing he can do about it. Here I am thinking, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and with good faith took your recommendation to buy a new Alternator because I trusted your professional judgement, but when things go wrong, they basically tell me sorry, nothing I can do about it. Is this the way you treat your clients? I paid $158.32 for the Battery and $513.09 for the Alternator (-$58 for the core), I even bought a tool to help me do the removal job. With all that money spent (not counting the time and energy spent), they cant even show a drop of goodwill to me. I am a good customer and I dont cause a scene about it as this is not who I am, but I have to tell the truth of the matter so others, hopefully, will be educated of the scenario they will face if mistakes happens. Its a huge lesson for me. If a professional organization cant treat me with respect and good business ethics. I have no reason to do business with them going forward. I had planned to buy tires and other stuffs in the near future, but no I will never go to Autozone again because of this experience. This is why the Amazons and Walmart is still the safer option. Been looking for a K&N air filter for about a month for my vehicle. They had it in stock and went above my expectations answering other questions that I had! Everyone that I talk to were very knowledgeable about the products that they carry!

Manager on duty supposedly didn’t know how to process a return and said to come back at another time when the other manager is there. I don’t know but I’m questioning whoever makes the hiring decisions for this location. Just don’t know how a “manager” doesn’t know how to process a simple return, sounds to me that he was just too lazy to do it. Had to drive 20 mins to the next location and waited another 15 mins to be helped.
Both my headlights went out last night and I went in to have them help me find new ones to replace them again. Nice tall man help me not only fine the best price for the best option, but he also stood in the cold and rain helping me replace them for free without me even asking. So blessed to have a nice person like this help me on such a miserable day. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

This is a mixed review. They honored the warranty for batteries which was good. But if you bring the battery in without the vehicle and you want to purchase a new one they require cash. Something about theft through stolen credit cards. Not to overstate the obvious but all you have to do is train your staff to check photo IDs. It seemed ludicrous!
The tall clerk at the Auto Zone on Rowlett Rd was rude and did not have any interest in helping customers. Instead he made snide comments about my knowledge of a car light I was looking to replace. I called it a fog light and he thought that was funny. I guess he thought being a parts store clerk made him better than anyone else. I congratulate him on making it big

I used to live behind this store so it was my favorite for that reason. The staff is always helpful and the generic parts have worked fine for the most part. Now I do most of my shopping online (Amazon) but most of the time if I dont want to wait Ill go here.

Just left from there and was given horrible customer service. I came in and the guy available was just looking at me like he was scared or unsure to help me. When i asked him if he can check to see if i had a fuse or something that will make my light randomly go out. He kept just telling me my mechanic can check as if he didnt want to. Ive never went to an Auto Zone and they never check things or help me to see something etc. Guess its strictly you know what your coming for and know everything about your/a car and they just get the product and ring u up.
