Took my car there for repairs and they installed the wrong part on my vehicle, called me and said it was ready. Got up there to be charged 2400.00+ and told I needed to take it to a frame shop. Took to frame shop to inspect and appeared to have frame bent till they tore it down and then realized that Firestone had install the wrong part which was causing the problem to the frame and not the frame itself. Charged for a frt end alignment that couldnt even be done due to the wrong part being installed on the vehicle but charged me all the same. Incurred an additional cost of 1400.00 due to their mistake and dont feel responsible to cover that cost. Will never use that business again. If quality service is important go elsewhere or be warned.

Booked appointment online for the next day 10am. Got there at 9:55am and the guy said we just got the appointment so I can’t take you in. I booked the appointment 18 hours before I showed up and had the confirmation email with me. Maybe they can work on having a better system at this location.

The best place for car care in the heart of Rowlett Texas.

Paid for a lifetime alignment and this location just can’t seem to get it right. Doesn’t double check their work. Says computer shows in green but steering wheel is way off center. Go to a different Firestone for alignments, they only have one guy at this one and he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Rowlett Firestone has been very consistent over the 20 years Ive used them. If you watch their specials, pricing is competitive. Always found their Service to be fairly quick if you schedule with them. I was able to get lifetime alignment for $189, that was a deal.

Friendly staffs and they dont try to upsell. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favor and remove this place and company from your auto-repair list. They use slimy sales tactics to attach an advertised “lifetime alignment” to your bill and find every reason to tell you they cannot perform an alignment when you finally go back for one. This location did not fix the issue that I originally brought my vehicle in for and sold me a $200 lifetime alignment service I have yet to use. Luckily, I found an honest shop that diagnosed and repaired my suspension issue correctly. Shame on you Firestone for these shady practices, I have learned my lesson and will never be back to any of your locations.

My daughter took her car for tires. When she got her car back it was making a terrible sound. She went back and they told her that the splash guard was broken when she brought it in. It was not making the noise when she dropped it off. They had plenty of opportunity to tell her about this as they contacted her to up sell her a new battery and filters none of which was probably needed since she just had it at Honda last month for new injectors and they would have surely mentioned this along with the splash guard issue. They couldnt be bothered to tell her about the splash guard and the woman their just said my bad I didnt mention this but its your problem it came in like that. We dont believe it came in like that and the least they should have done was told her and they could have removed it so she didnt have a panic attack when her car sounded like it was falling apart. I have used this Firestone for over 32 years and it seems like the past several years service there has been going down hill. I know the name of the game is up sell for more commission but a customers safety should be a bigger concern what would have happened if this had flown off or under a tire and caused an accident this type of behavior is unacceptable.

Took my car there due to a noise that was coming from the front tyres. It was diagnosed, billed and i paid for the expected repairs. Two days after i got my car back, the same noise started again fron the front tyres. Took the car back there and i was shocked when the guy says he will raise another bill for another repair......wonder what they did at first if anything was done. I am not hapoy with the service here.

They are good fixing cars but a lot times, one simple things takes two hours to finished it.

Great service and honest.I went to get my tires that I bought from them a while back. I was thinking it might be time to replace my tires, especially since my rotation was over due by a couple thousand miles. I didn’t bother to measure the tread before I came in.They ended up telling me I didn’t need them yet and saved me from dropping $500 on new tires.The tires in question are the FireHawk summer tires.If you’re here reading tire reviews you’re stupid. That’s what other websites and Reddit are for.But if you must know. Yes, there good. Not as grippy as they were about 15 to 20,000 miles ago, but still grippy.

Negative Stars - I am extremely displeased with my service today. I went in as I needed my battery charged for my car and was told that I would need a full replacement as the battery was no longer good. No problem. I asked that they continue charging my battery and said I’ll set up an appointment to return for the full replacement as they stated they didn’t have a battery on hand today. Later, a tech named Moses (I believe) walked over and stated that he had called autozone and found a battery for $360 and that it would be an additional charge of $72 for system reset fees and that “HE had to go pick it up”. I said ok hesitantly as I knew I was going to try finding a cheaper battery on my own. As I sat waiting in the lobby I searched on my phone for batteries and one of the FIRST ones that came up was the battery I needed from Autozone for $199. I called Autozone to verify the price because I could not believe this tech just flat out lied and Autozone (the one he supposedly called) confirmed that the battery is only $199 and that no one had recently called to inquire about a battery today. When I asked him about the price discrepancy, he proceeded to call Autozone “again” in front of me and upon the end of this nonsensical conversation, the tech says “Oh well I spoke with someone earlier and they told me it was that price ($360) but now they said they have a sale.” Are you kidding me?? Would you have refunded the difference once discovering it was cheaper? No, as they’d ALREADY had an itemized invoice generated for me.... We are literally in an economic depression people. Please have integrity and do better. I am truly disappointed.

Weve used Firestone for 30+ years, so you know there doing something right. Theyve always given great customer service and feed back. When there is a problem they take the time to go over everything with you and let you know if it needs to be taken care now or that it can wait awhile.

Excellent customer services! I had my brakes replaced, the whole 9 (rotor, brake pads, etc) It seems to squeak when I put the car in reverse (especially in the rain or morning). The rep said that it takes time to settle so we shall see.

Lady at the front desk needs to work on her costumer service skills. She seemed a bit bothered and had a rude attitude. All I needed was my company vehicle tire fixed. She asked for a phone number and when it was not found in her system (computer), she refused to offer any help to contact our fleet account (EMKAY) so that I could proceed on getting the tire fixed. No wonder I was the only customer inside. Good thing the other Firestone location several miles down the road was able to help.

I love the team here! They were able to do more work than anticipated on a really busy day in less than two hours. I have gone there in the past and will continue coming back for great service!

Everyone there was very helpful and friendly! They were very good about explaining everything to me that needed to be done and why it needed to be done and they also were able to help me last minute in an emergency tire repair situation before they closed. Ive used Firestone Complete Auto Care on various vehicles for many years. Although I havent exactly had the best experiences at all locations, its still been more positive than negative. So when I moved to Rowlett, naturally I brought my vehicle to this location for new tires and alignment. Setting an appointment was easy and convenient via the website and was helped right away upon arrival. There was a little miscommunication in the beginning regarding the tire warranty on the current Firestone-purchased tires that I was replacing but was handled professionally at checkout. The courtesy check and complete vehicle inspection informed me of some issues thatll need attention soon, some of which can be handled myself. Overall, a great experience with professional staff and speedy service! I will bring my vehicles back to this location and highly recommend them!

I stood at the counter for a few minutes. When someone finally came in they didn’t greet me or acknowledge me so I left. Went down to Jordan’s Good Year down the street. Much better experience and service. Next time just say, “hello, I’ll be right with you.”

I give 2 stars for how professional they were but Firestone is ridiculous with the prices they charge. I went less than 5 miles and saved 100.00. Even the dealership was almost 100.00 savings but they are closed on Sundays so I went to a family owned business. NO I will not be back ever if I can help it and will definitely deter my family and friends from getting totally screwed.

Ive probably been to more or less eight branches of Firestone Auto Care here in Dallas, i could say this branch is the best so far. The branch manager is so courteous, very polite and very professional. Their mechanics are so trustworthy and will not force you or trick you from doing other services. The atmosphere is so welcoming that you will feel that they really are taking care of your investment(car). They will credit any coupon you bring in this branch and they will make you feel the money you spend is worth it. Thanks Lake view Pkwy Branch for the wonderfull service i had this morning. They’ve given me two faulty radiators one after the other. They also never bothered to mention putting in freon during two inspections of the AC. While they did honor the warranty both times and replaced the radiators for free, I’ve lost countless hours waiting for the car to be fixed. You can’t call yourself a mechanic if you can’t even handle the basics, can you?

I called this morning and ask to make an appointment to get 2 vehicles inspected for new stickers .was told that the state of Texas would not allow customers to get appointment for stickers.this is not true.have done this in the past.took the first vehicle for inspection was told they wouldnt be able to get to until around 5 pm.I left .the young lady that I spoke with was very rude.l have been a customer at this store long before she got here and will be here long after she is gone.the sooner the better.

Ive been here many times over the years and have come to the conclusion that they just dont provide honest and competent service.

They charged us $22 for what they said was to plug the tire. Turned out they just filled it with air and sent us in our way. Of course it deflated again the next day and we took it to another tire shop (an honest one) and the guy pulled the nail right out and plugged it. Absolutely unacceptable to claim to do a service and not do it, and then charge for it!!! Will never do business with them again!!

I had a much better experience at this location today. I’ve taken my car for an alignment at a couple of other Firestone locations and nobody would explain to me why my caster couldn’t be adjusted. They would only tell me that it could not be done.The service advisor here was very nice and helpful and actually listened to what I had to say. We spoke with the technician and he took the time to show me the problem with my car and why it couldn’t be adjusted. I will definitely return to this firestone for future services. Thanks guys!

I have been coming to this ROWLETT auto care center for over 15years I have seen managers come and go,At times I have had bad customer service and good customer service.i have had good work and some bad work.But there is never any African Americans working at this center.I stop going for about 2 years,When I came back they had a new manager AJ was great greet you with a friendly smile got you in and let you know how long await you had.Now you dont know who is who.they dont offer any of the things with your inspection anymore and over charge you.$12.00 pin took less than 10minutes to put on my truck,they charge $93.00.but they didnt charge me labor,they charges for things you dont know about.and he didnt even have to use a bay to put the part on.

Outstanding service. I highly recommend this place. My wifes car was totaled & we were down to just my pickup. The starter was going out in my pickup, so I took it to firestone. They had it completely done in just a couple hours. Huge relief for me.

I had a headlight that burned out on my car and took it to the Firestone location in Rowlett. They gave me the option of original type replacement bulbs or halogens. I chose to replace all 4 bulbs with halogens. My wife had the same thing happen to her truck. I chose to do the same thing because I was pleased with the service and friendly caring attitude. The wait time was reasonable as well as the price. I will definitely use this location again. Thank you Firestone!

Visiting Rockwall and had a nail in my tire, staff was awesome. They where able to replace my tire and get me out within 30 minutes or less! Definitely recommend!

We were driving to west coast and got a bad flat. Staff was very helpfull (both on the phone and at shop) we got 2 tires didnt over charge

My oil changes were completed fairly quick both times I visited, but this place is super expensive. They wanted to replace an air filter for over 30 bucks, when you can go to OReillys down the street and do it yourself for half... or less. The customer service could have been nicer though, not to say they were rude, but this may be typical for auto repair shop employees to treat customers as if they know nothing about vehicles.

Staff at Firestone always professional and ready to assist. My 1st visit was a flat on my way home at 6:50pm. I called and although they close at 7pm, they waited for me to arrive and replaced my tire. I was so grateful. 2nd visit, driving home tire alert on my dash. I called and agsin, they were there for me. I hear the conversations with other guests and focus is care and concern. Great job team! Love it that they have a female working with them too. 😊

Terrible experience I had here. Went on a Saturday to do a van inspection. I was told to come back first thing Sunday morning. I showed up at 9 AM as they were opening and was informed there’s were two cars for inspection ahead of me. I waited 30 minutes then decided to call a Uber home because it would take a couple of hours. 6.5 hours later, I showed up and was told I may have to leave it behind as they couldn’t get to it. Jack, the counter guy could not give a reason why work was not done. His attitude was rather unfriendly.

They charge way over price i went there they inspected my car long story short they only told us the price of the part they never at all with multiple conversations never told us the total i got there to pay and the price was 200 more then wheat we were told they dont do payment plans and because that was THIER fault the guy said he could knock some down but then he didnt! Got an oil change today. It didnt take long and the staff was knowledgeable and efficient.

I have purchased at least 5 sets of tires over the years and had most of my maintenance done on multiple vehicles at another Firestone location. Safe to say $5,000 plus spent with Firestone over the last couple decades. I’ve moved away from my other location now. But they would perform a “bring your own oil and filter” change for me. However this Rowlett location turned me down and with no apology. When I do this, I pay full price and they get to keep their oil and filter. What could be better for them? It is for their lack of customer focus, and particularly this young mans tone that I write this review. The customer may not always e right. But you can make the customer feel more like they are. Kwik Kar two doors down got my money today. And I suppose I wont be back to the Rowlett store.

Slow! I always call whichever Firestone Im going to to see what the wait time is. They told me there was no wait time! Hooray. Drove straight here, 10 minutes later I was signed in and sitting down. Now 1 hour 50 minutes later they finally took my car back to begin. Outrageous. Im infuriated that they would waste my time and lie like that. I specifically call to avoid this and I understand that there can be delays, even when they say there is no wait I expect to wait 30 minutes. But 2 hours? No. Drive to Firewheel, or Rockwall.

Weve been using this Firestone for almost 5 years, I think! Its been a while, and we wont go anywhere else bc Noone could take better care of our vehicles than the team at this store! They are always looking out for the customer and trying to help us find the best deal we can... And Ive heard them do it with others so its not just bc weve been going there for so many years...
