We visited Northside after remodeling our house in search of a nine piece dining set. Our sales lady (Michelle?) was very knowledgeable about the tables we were thinking about and not at all pushy. I try to be a good steward of my money, so I felt like we at least needed to look at another store before deciding. We drove to Ivan Smith beside Pecanland Mall in Monroe. The difference in every aspect of our shopping experience was like night and day. First of all, the prices were higher. Second, the furniture just looked cheap and there was nothing on the floor that looked anything like what I wanted. I was in search of a timeless piece, not trendy. In the end we went back to Northside. I now have beautiful dining room table that will seat eight adults comfortably. I can honestly say that I have a piece of furniture my children might fight over when Im gone! Thank you Dumas Family and staff for being so patient with us and even letting my son entertain you with his bull whip skills! He wants to visit often! Youll definitely be my first stop next time Im in the market for a fine piece furniture!

HORRIBLE customer service! The owner is absolutely not even worth my breath. I will report to the BBB. I have already filed a report with the RPD for the threats made towards my husband and I. They are snakes in the grass! They sent me a contract that is signed but I NEVER saw a contract to sign it. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Theyre super friendly here. They answered all our questions without pushing for a sale. I follow them on Facebook so I was able to go when they were having a big sale (up to 50% off) and got a great deal on this really pretty bed!

Our experience in the store was good and we purchased furniture. When the furniture arrived it was damaged. Long story short, the owner refused to replace the damaged furniture saying that we were being unreasonable and took the furniture back not even allowing us to keep and pay for the other furniture we had purchased from them. The owner was very rude and very unprofessional.1/22/19 Update:After I posted my review above, I received a message on Facebook from a person who appears to work for Northside Furniture calling me several expletives. Based on the message, this person interpreted my review to claim that we didnt get the furniture and didnt get reimbursed. To quote my review above it states not even allowing us to keep and PAY for the other furniture. By saying pay I meant pay for the furniture we wanted to keep. Never was it stated, that we didnt get any money back. Regardless, i have attached several screenshots of the message that was sent to me and people can derive their own opinion about this business.

I think this is the first furniture store you should go to. The sales lady we had was knowledgeable and not pushy. They delivered in the time they said they would. Very happy with this business.

The moment we walked in, we were greated by a representative of the store, Michelle. She was patient and nice the whole while we decided on what we wanted time.(Most reps will walk off till you decide what you want) Once sale was final, we were told to have a nice day (as a majority of storesDONT do cause theyve got what they wanted out of you). I would recommend everyone to visit their store cause not only do they have excellent customer service, but their prices are affordable as well.

I got great customer service and I’m very pleased with my purchase. All of the employees are very friendly and polite and the owners are great people who treat everyone that comes in the door like an old friend. I would highly recommend Northside Furniture to anyone looking to buy new furniture it’s a great place run by great people.

The receptionist is friendly and makes you feel at home. You can hear the smile in her voice from the moment you walk in. Michelle is super helpful and knowledgeable in what she does. Shop here and you won’t be disappointed.

Our initial experience was very positive. Then we were promised replacement of furniture that could not be repaired by Jeff, at which time Jeff passed the issue off to JD Dumas. Mr. Dumas refused to honor what Jeff promised us, then yelled at me on the phone and hung up. Definitely DO NOT recommend spending your money here!

We were quoted a price on a chair by a salesman on Saturday and he said the price would be good for a week. My 91 yo father went back the following Monday and the owner upped the price from $623 to $739. Even the sales girl who had been there told the owner the lower price was quoted!! My family will NEVER go in this store again!! #elderlyabuse#trying to ripoffmy91yodad!!!!

Not a very good selection. Seems to be low end furniture. Looked at to specific pieces and both had drawers that were very difficult to open due to sticking.
