Our experience at Key Honda was amazing! The staff was patient with us as we had our 4 year old niece with us. David and Eric were both awesome to work with. The used car industry is crazy right now so many cars aren’t even cleaned yet. My boyfriend was able to choose a car and although we were nervous not seeing it detailed we bought it. David ensured that the car was absolutely SPOTLESS for us and even offered to FaceTime and sent me photos to prove it. Even better, THEY DELIVERED the car for free! Amazing service. David kept us in the loop at all times, they were fair negotiators and we will happily be back to purchase our next car too!

Patrick and the team at Key were wonderful. They gave me a really fair price on the vehicle I wanted and a great rate for my trade it. I went to a competitor first knowing that I was leaning toward a new Pilot. I was up front about that when I spoke to the sales person at the other dealership. They quoted me thousands less for my trade. Patrick took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and intercepted several questions I would have had if my sales person hadn’t been so knowledgeable. He did everything in his power to get me the best price and the best payment. I don’t know why I thought checking out another dealership was smart, but I’m glad I made the right decision in the end. I was not excited this morning about shopping for cars. This dealership was the first I visited. I test drove the CRV as the car guys evaluated my trade in - very efficient! Kyle was fantastic - I never felt pressured into buying on the spot. After visits to other dealerships and test driving other cars I went back to Key Honda just like Kyle said I would! Long time Honda owner. Still enjoying my 2006 manual trans. Accord. Recently Id been hoping to lease a 2020 Honda Civic Sport with a 6 speed manual. Jashua Tetrault was able to locate the exact model and color the same day. The car was delivered and prepped within a few days. Terms and financing were handled by Andrew Mayo and the new car run through was enthusiastically provided by Taylor Gould. Just a great experience start to finish. Also a shout out to their service department!

Well for my wife and I, it was FANTASTIC!! We had seen a vechial online. My wife contacted salesmen and they did the rest... they even took the car off the sales lot and put a sold sign in it, by the time we got there today. It was literally 1hr to sign paperwork and drive away!! I am someone that expect world class customer service and Key Honda in Rutland VT more then delivered!!
The staff at Key Honda were all very warm, friendly, professional, and very helpful. I felt they were honest and willing to go the extra mile with us. The whole experience of deciding upon and purchasing a vehicle was very pleasant, easy, and quick. I would definitely recommend this dealership! There was none of the high pressure and deceitful sales tactics we have experienced at other dealers, instead they listened carefully to what we had to say, and patiently worked with us.The process took us up until closing time, but even after the paperwork was signed and the purchase was complete, the fact that they care about their customers became even more apparent. Kyle came outside as we were preparing to leave and (without us having to request it) paired my phone to the car. He also told us that they wanted to have us come back so they could do a good job cleaning up and detailing the car, which he said would take about two hours. They didnt have to do this. We returned the next morning so that they could do this for us. When we arrived, Kyle was in the parking lot waiting for us with a loaner car all ready to go. We were able to go do our shopping. He called when the car was ready. Excellent reviews for this dealership and staff!

I recently bought a beautiful car from Key Honda of Rutland, and the salesman was so nice and not pushey at all about which car I bought or test drove. I also just purchased a set of snow tires from them, and I have to say that they are excellent tires! I was hesitant about buying from a place that doesnt necessarily specialize in tires, but I am pleasantly surprised! Will definitely buy all my tires and cars from Key Honda from now on!

Ive been consistently impressed with this Honda dealership since 2016 when I bought my first new vehicle. Back then it was Shearer Honda but changed hands a year or so later. Other than the name I wouldnt have known.My vehicle has been serviced exclusively with them and their prices are reasonable considering youre dealing with OEM parts and certified technicians.
Everyone at Key Honda was friendly and knowledgeable and made my car buying experience a great one. My husband and I saw a Honds CRV that we liked on the KEY Honda website. I emailed an inquiry and Taylor Gould got back to me with in a couple of hours! The vehicle was not in Rutland but she was happy to arrange for it to be brought to Rutland for us to look at. The CRV was out front all gased up and detailed for our test drive. I have never had such a positive experience purchasing a car. Great all around d experience. Worth the drive.

I brought my civic si to get the clutch replaced I dropped the car off on Monday at 5:00 and it was done the next day by 1:00. Timmy went into to work early to get the job done for me. Key Honda provides a friendly and low-pressure sales environment. They were very knowledgeable about the used cars I test drove and never once tried to push me into buying a new car. After my first visit, they called me once to check in but didnt hound me like other dealerships in the area, which is definitely what won me over.
The guys in the repair part of Key Honda are the best. I always buy a Honda and I always take it there for maintenance. They know my car and they know me. They always manage to get me in in a timely manner. Even the shuttle guys are great!
Hands down Caitlin Wiles cares about the customer. Caitlins outstanding patients catered to this household to satisfy the wife and husband, (LOL you know those customers) the husband needs were very small but the wives were very large for all good reasons, a local business lady that spends 90 % of time in her car.. wanted, needed the best, safe and comfortable and of course the classiest.... with low payments ..... Service Department Charges are Over the Top. $92.45 to plug in to the computer to determine the error code? Not okay. Very disappointed - used to get all of my service at Shearer before it became Key. I will be going elsewhere in the future. Of note, the staff is friendly and attentive and really are good people.

I just bought a new 2018 CR-V from Key Honda and worked with Kyle Sheridan exclusively. Kyle made the process easy, transparent and fairly seamless. He was down-to-earth and respectful, and did not pressure me at all. Kyle is not your “typical” salesman and I found Key Honda in general to be a dealership that wants to help people get into the vehicle they want, not just “move cars”.

Have recommended Shearer Honda for years. I love that you can buy a used car and get certified warranty for length of your loan! Have had 2 friends plus my Mom buy here, because of my great experience! Most recently I was in Rutland, heading home. ..and lost my brakes! Although they were busy, Ed fit me right in! When they found the problem ( broken brake lines)...Tim and Ed took me in the garage so I could see issue 1st hand. After quoting 1700...imagine how happy I was when it ended up being 300 dollars less. Its hard to find honest dealerships, or mechanics, but Tim took the time to be honest and explain exactly what he did, and how he fixed an old part instead of charging me an additional 300. Keep it up, Shearer! !!! Great customer service!
I was visiting Vermont over Thanksgiving and accompanied my son who has a business in Rutland to bring in two cars for inspections and oil changes. I was in VT for two weeks and during that time the service department never called back nor was it reachable for any questions nor paperwork it promised to send initially. This is a company my son has used faithfully for years!Nothing was resolved, no one seemed to care and one car returned with a rattle it had never had before.I was astounded that a business could treat its loyal customers this way.I hope my son and his wife find a more responsible repair facility.

Went to look at a Honda Pilot. I had the wrong name of the model of vehicle I was looking for. Sales person was not impressed that I had the wrong model vehicle because he had to take the wrong vehicle off of flat bed with recent deliveries when there was one on the lot. I apologized, he was rude to me during entire conversation. They have fixed pricing. There werent any incentives on the Honda Pilots at the time. The salesperson didnt give any indication of when there might be better pricing. They werent interested in my F150 xlt that I had brought in to trade until I was out the door after being told they couldnt do any better pricing for me (more than $500 a month on a leased vehicle). I went to Aldermans Toyota instead and couldnt be happier with the experience and staff there.

We were visiting Vermont this past weekend, on Saturday the 6th of January we realized our windshield wiper lines were frozen. Nearest Volvo dealer was closed assuming because of bad weather, even though they were supposed to be open and no message on the answering machine.. Honda dealer’s service department took us in and worked on our car to get the lines going so we can get on the road. We appreciate everything you have done for us ( I believe names were Ed, Adam and the mechanic that I didn’t have his name) were awesome. We were far from home when a flashing light on the dashboard alerted us to a battery problem. Called Key Honda in Rutland, 25 miles from our location, and was told they would try to fit us in among appointments. As soon as we arrived, a service technician came out to the car and tested both keyless entry keys. One needed a battery. Done in 5 minutes, and we were back on vacation. The trip was worth the time for the accommodating service and resulting peace of mind.

I was a little concerned when my Honda dealership changed hands. But the service there has remained top notch. I am disappointed that they did away with their VIP program which gave discounts on service to individuals like myself who had purchased cars there. But otherwise I still trust them the most to fix my car.
Shearer sold me a car in 2009, no pressure, no gimmicks. I would buy a car there again next time I need one.Ive used their service department since to take care of both my Hondas. I get great service. The staff know me and go out of their way to be considerate and helpful. My cars have been very well cared for at Shearer. I am confident that they are honest and experienced at repairing and maintaining vehicles.
I do not have a lot of experience with dealerships, but entering this one, I was greeted warmly, with a kind of make yourself at home feel. I was assisted through all of the purchase of my first new car, and I was able to get all my questions answered. After I drove away with my car, I still received continual, great service. Mike Galiano, the employee who brought me through to purchase, was very genuine and respectful while still being personable and relatable. He was a great help through the whole process.
This was our second vehicle purchase from Shearer Honda; the first was in 2007 and although theyre not the closest dealership to our house, there wasnt a question about approaching them for our most recent purchase. Our salesperson Mike Hosley was honest and great to work with, and has always seemed genuinely interested in helping us find the car that is truly the best fit for us, rather than pushing the one with the highest price tag. We know well drive our Honda for many years to come, but already know well go back to Shearer when were in the market for another!

I live in Maryland and my daughter attends Green Mountain College and uses my car while shes in school. When it broke down and this dealership was the closest repair place available i shuddered to think how badly we would be taken advantage of. To my complete and utter amazement they limited the repairs instead of adding to them,had honest discussions with me over the phone on how to best remedy the situation TO MY BENEFIT! My wife and I did our homework and decided we were in the market for a new Honda Clarity Touring model. We were long time customers of another car brand but decided to explore making a change. I bought a used 2006 Honda Insight last August with 24,000 miles, and because this car is hard to find especially with such low miles (they stopped making them in 2006), I came all the way from California to get it. I took several weeks driving it back to San Diego, and all went fine . Then a few months later,the IMA light and check engine light came on. I was told at a local Honda dealership in San Diego that it needed a $3700 hybrid battery replacement. I called the General Manager at Shearer Honda, Kevin Bowie, and within a few hours he had talked to an area manager and the Honda Dealership in San Diego, and in a few days the battery was replaced with Honda covering 90% of the repair cost. Even though I had had the car for about 5 months I felt that Shearer Honda stood behind the sale of this car. Thanks again for your speedy resolution. If I lived in the Rutland area, Shearer Honda is where I would buy my next new or used car.

I worked with Graham at Shearer to buy my new Honda CRV and really appreciated his low-key, informative, no-drama approach.
I have never been more disrespected and lied to. I went to buy a Subaru BRZ from them used. I got my finances ready and went to show up to finalize. I brought my father to be safe. We found that one fender was not painted on the inside on the passenger side but the driver side was so it was replaced. Again salesman said he didnt know about that. We asked for the car fax. They said there wasnt any accidents. I looked at the report. Engine replaced (which the salesman said he didnt know, so he dosent know the history of the car?) There was a puddle of oil on top of the block under the intake manifold right after it was detailed. They lied and said he had a body kit. Body kit and only replaced one fender? It was in an accident. What the worst of all is the odometer did not match because the new engine. They had no awnsers to any of these question. Michael g and Jared both came out and said the engine blew because he didnt do his oil change. There is so much wrong with the whole situation. The attitude they had pointed for me to believe they knew these issues. They had the car fax and neither knew about the engine replacement till I pointed it to them. I do not recommend anybody use them for any kind of service let alone spend there money they earned to be lied to.
