Sometimes you can find what you are looking for. Make sure to check expiration date if its Food. There has been many occasions when I was in a hurry and bought expired stuff, cause I forgot to check expiration date. On that note; isnt Big Lots job to make sure they are not selling expired food!! Lets stop and think for a minute! One occasion an accident. After that they arent employing enough people, or the employees arent doing their job! Wonder which one it is?

Busy place. Lots to choose from for Christmas. Prices are reasonable. Cashier area isnt wiped in between customers tho. I wear gloves so I felt ok about that.

They sell furniture but dont keep any thing in stock....But you can order it and it might be here by January....little bit ridiculous in my opinion....apparently they dont want to make sales...

If youve never shopped in a Big Lots you should try it. We usually hold out shopping until they offer their 20% off store-wide sale. This isnt the type of place you go to with a list, you just go here and the store will let you know what sort of things you are missing and need. I would recommend going here specifically for furniture though. They have a decent selection and very reasonable prices. Types of things youll find here are varied however there is a generous selection of groceries (most are cheaper than supermarkets).

I have been to this store numerous times and getting help with what your looking at is near impossible. Was in the store at least 45 minutes to buy mattress we asked for help twice we waited little longer no one came so Ashley furniture made a sale on mattress. They need more people who make customers satisfied

I always have had a great experience here. In my opinion, they have unique items at great prices. I forget to go there as often as Id like because I forget that theyre in Rutland, for I rarely go to that end of town. The only improvement I would recommend is better advertising of their store and location.

Nice selection of things. From furniture two bathroom things and towels and crafts and wall hangings and food. Fun place to shop prices of reasonable.

Odd mix of food and furniture and housewares. I find some great stuff, and I find some total garbage. Seems more manufacturers should get left off the shelf. Staff seems nice. Prices are really decent. I found using point card real difficult for some reason.

The teller/clerk spoke clean you could understand her!the store was clean and didnt see broken merchandise sitting around. I think the rutland store is great.

Very mixed. Got help finding an item I was looking for in the aisles. Then, at the register, I asked for help finding an item first from the cashier and then from the manager. The managers response was that if it was not on the shelves, it was not in stock and therefore not available. No offer to look. No info offered as to when the item might be available. I felt brushed off.

They have some good deals on some items, but when it comes to wowing you with great buyout deals like in the past, they seem to have lost their way.

Lots of cool stuff from decorations to furniture, food and more all at a reasonable price! Its right next to our local Home Depot another good place to visit.

Big Lots wow a lot of different stuff in here coffee sometimes decaf just kind of got to keep your eyes open in here things come and go as a seasons change sometimes they have coffee sometimes peanuts and different things whatevers in the market and whatever is a low price I seen seems like they have I think you need to make your own review of them they were quite hard keeping stare shelves organized with all the changing stock

You can find a little bit of everything in this store from furniture on down to beauty supplies.

Will never go again. Tons of impassable isles, most Isles were poorly stocked. The lady at the front counter was not exactly friendly not once did I hear a hello how are you nothing. I was very disappointed.
