I’m very glad to have found this place. After searching for locations closer to me and having no luck finding piano song books, I found Be Music. It’s nice to have a place to go and browse rather than just buying songbooks online. The environment was friendly and welcoming. I found what I was looking for, and left overjoyed knowing I have many amazing songs I’ll now be able to learn on piano. I would 100% recommend Be Music.

I was just window shopping and wasnt looking for anything specific. I was impressed by the selection and how the staff were assisting another, more serious customer who was buying a first guitar. No pressure, just solid information to make an informed decision.

We have been visiting VT for the month of December and were very excited to visit Be Music, as they seem to be the only local music store in the area. My fiancé and I are both music teachers and LOVE visiting local music stores when traveling. Upon our arrival, we said hi to the employee, said we were from out of town, that we love music, and are that we were going to look around. The employee very rudely stated “we’re not open for just looking” and seemed very irritated by our presence. I’m not sure how we can purchase something without knowing what they have or looking around first...? We walked around the store and left after 2 minutes. While I did see some instruments and books I may have inquired about, I chose not to patronize a business that clearly didn’t want our business. Very disappointing.

Solid place, great equipment. Owner really cares. Thank you so much for everything so far, I look forward to coming back soon.

Great store for the local Musician, supplies, instruments, etc..

This is the first store I come to when looking to purchase anything musical, Ive bought multiple keyboards, a drumset, and a guitar from them, and they all perform great. Even if they dont have whatever you want in stock, they can order what you are looking to get for a great price.The owner and staff are always very knowledgeable on the products they carry, and they can inform and help you with the products you are buying.

Great store, good fair prices

Helpful staff who are happy to explain their different products behind the counter. As a novice musician, it can be intimidating to enter a specialty music store. I have never felt like an inconvenience to staff or spoken down to while having things explained to me. Parking is located behind the store and is a little tight, but there are always spaces for your car.

To be completely honest I have always had a wonderful experience purchasing products from Be Music. Depending on the level of skill and knowledge of technical aspects of equipment I have always found instruments which have always been of great use and wonderful quality, in some cases a educational experience. The staff at Be Music is prompt and very friendly and they provide a decent selection of gear ranging from the before beginning novice to the highest level professional. If they do not have it they can get it and your wallet will thank you later. Even if you are testing gear I would recommend stopping by you may find yourself pleasantly surprised. After wanting to for 20 years I finally decided to learn to play guitar. I came to B music for my first one and had a great experience. The guy I worked with didnt make me feel intimidated at all even though I literally didnt know anything about guitars. I dont feel like he just tried to get me to spend a lot of money either. I ended up with what seems like a great balance of quality and affordability for a beginner.Later I brought them a second hand guitar I got off the internet to get it set up. The did that for less than I expected and it greatly improved the playability of the guitar.They have helped me pick out capos and picks and with whatever advice I need.
