Nice clean store but they have a plastic bag ban and they will give you a free paper bag but they dont have any paper bags in stock and then they charge you $0.10 for the plastic bag

Very rarely do I leave a reviews..Worst experience ever today.. I purchased fruit platters and cream cheese fruit dip expiration 8/2021. I get home and the dip has a horrible smell and is green moldedI call and they say to bring it back, mind you its 8pm so I have to keep this rotten smelling dip in my fridge until Im able to bring it backAbsolutely unacceptable. Thank goodness I didnt serve it to guest

On this particular store, I found clean aisles, well stocked shelves and decent prices. Will find most of what youre looking for as some stores are not as big as lets say a shop rite. Still, a good stop to get the essentials.

Our go to supermarket employees are super nice and know us they know when Im there my mom is not far behind and ask for her. Wonderfully people from the pharmacists to customer service reps

This Acme location is great. The store is at right size and everything inside is well organized. The parking lot is huge that it’s not hard to find parking. The store is not so busy which makes it easier for you to shop. Another plus is the store is open late.

Stope is very dark and dingy. Im not saying it dirty, but thats how it looks. Prices are high.

Ok Acme. I only come here because it’s close to my house and convenient for me but I really wish there was other options. For real everything here is so expensive you can walk out with only two bags of merchandise and it’s going to cost you at times over $100. They really trap you because they are the only place around. Please please somebody out there open a supermarket close to my house!

Do not bother placing drive and go orders at this location. I cannot speak for other locations but twice now this location has kept me waiting outside for over 30 minutes.When both these incidents happened, I, of course called the store more times than I can count and NO ONE ever answered in fact I got messages that the VM box was full so each call was disconnected automatically.The first time this happened I walked into the store and picked up my order myself but the 2nd time I wasn’t even going to bother. I only tried it once more because I was assured this was a one time occurrence.Well now you’ve made me waste gas, effort and a half hour of my time yet again!! Good for you!!!! I will NEVER EVER shop at Acme again so I guess Wal Mart and Shoprite should thank you for the money I will be spending with them?Anyways to summarize they are sooo off their game with the drive up and go orders it isnt even funny dont waste your time, effort, gas, or money on this place.

If you dont feel like cooking you can stop in ACME sometimes the have special on roastire chicken dinner or fried chicken and grilled cheese dinner for 4 and they always have special on their cereal and juice and snacks and yogurt thats my goto store when I get my great nieces and nephews for the weekend especially movie night and breakfast hey collect enough rewards points save money on your shopping.

First trip to Acme, and I loved it! Great selection of products, with great deals. Staff is very courteous. Its a little out of my way compared to the other stores I go to, but its worth the trip.

My complaint about this store is some of the cashiers. Just a little while ago on the express lane the cookies from the bakery I was going to buy accidentally opened when I picked them up, and they spilled on the floor, which I picked up and put back in container. I apologized to cashier saying I dropped them and they were garbage. Can anyone believe that not only didn’t she look at me, SHE DIDNT EVEN RESPOND. How rude! Many family and friends of mine that shop there always have the same complaint about the cashiers! It’s a shame that being nice to the customers, saying hello and making eye contact isn’t a requirement for working there.

In this day and age when most companies strive to not only meet your expectations but to exceed them, Acme has a policy that seems designed specifically to anger its customers.I purchased a pint of Halo Top Vanilla ice cream from them and when I opened it at home later that night it was clearly well beyond its freshness prime. The ice cream had shrunk and receded from the sides and the top of the container and it was covered in a layer of ice. OK. Disappointing but that stuff can happen if the stock isnt rotated properly.What is totally unacceptable is the fact that when I went back a few days later for a refund I was offered $3.99 instead of the $5.99 I paid. I was told that was because I didnt have my receipt. Seriously? Youre going to penalize me 33% because I dont have a receipt (which I always toss on my way out of the store)? Is this a major problem for Acme? Now I can understand why they might be worried that people who buy an item at say, ShopRite, might look to profit by returning it at Acme because Acmes prices are 10% - 35% higher on so very many items (the same ice cream is $5.49 at ShopRite - 10% cheaper) but honestly... you lost a customer who was willing to pay you more money over what? Over $2.I am amending this review to state how poor the response from the owner posted below is. The suggestion is to chat (by the way... no chat. Its an automated virtual assistant) with them or to reach out via their contact page. Which will accomplish what? So I waste my time complaining to a person sitting in a call center who has no ability to resolve my issue? A company that cares about customer service would ask how they can get in touch with me. Another illustration that Acme cares not about customer relations and the response was for show.

Haven’t been to an Acme in a long time until this store which I’ve been to a couple of times recently. It’s a nice store but I only come here when there are items that I need that are on sale. Most of the time, the prices can be beat by Shoprite and other competitors. Still it is clean and the workers are very nice.

I just love the store when I come up there the whole staff is very very friendly and I appreciate that I dont be in there long get what I got to get and keep it moving

I have purchased smoked salmon here multiple times different brands and they seem off. Today I purchased one and omg it was so bitter and tasted rotten. There was no expiration date on it and it was horrible. I am very dissatisfied what a waste of money. Now I know to stick w Costco never had this issue with Costco smoked salmon.

It was a very well laid out store but the prices were just too high for my purse. Location is great but it could only be a one or two item necessity purchase for me.

Clean and wide aisles to easy navigate. Stock is plentiful on most items. Prices are a bit higher compared to other grocery stores, but coupons are good.

Mice were running around in here last night. That’s the final straw for me as this place always had a repulsive smell of rotten food and a leaking roof. I couldn’t even buy food after witnessing it. Bought some cans for my cats instead and got out as quickly as possible.

Haven’t been to an acme in a long time and this place did not disappoint! They have such an array of products including ones that they make there which look delicious! The staff is super helpful and friendly, it’s clean and wasn’t super packed when I went which is a big deal! May consider it to be my new go to grocery store even though it’s not as close as others just because it was such a pleasure shopping there! Great deals also!!!

Great place to shop and low price

It’s a really nice clean supermarket. The prices here are slightly higher than at say ShopRite. It’s very easy to get in and out of and it has ample parking. I will say that anytime I’ve had interactions with the staff working at the registers they are usually not very pleasant.

The prices are high yes. The prices are low when you buy them on sale or some kind of deal. Buy sale items only. Plenty of parking. Clean store. Friendly staff. Could use a self checkout or two. Easy to get to neighborhood store, well for me at least. Not as crowded as Shop Rite but I like that. No big Mamas with their shopping cart in the middle of the isle while they bend over and give you a full moon. Blocking the whole isle, you seen them do it, admit it. How rude some people are. Quality cold cuts. Its a very convenient place for me or my wife to do some grocery shopping.

This place has come a long way since I first visited. They have been my go to shopping center during the pandemic and will continue to be my main shopping center for groceries and essentials.

Huge space, huge waste. As many reviewers had mentioned, prices are ridiculous. And now, somehow they are charging $35 for a slack of ribs or $15 for few pieces of chicken, when I can get same thing in Shoprite at Rochelle park for 10 bucks (ribs), $5 (chicken). They open at 6 am which is convenient but how about having more than one register open so that there is no line? I wondered how they remained open during pre-corona life with such big store and so little cars in the parking lot. Not worth the trip.

I went to Acme to pick up something for dessert. I bought Coconut Custard Pie.The pie is good.

The staff in this location are mostly friendly.Its got a very good variety of products to choose from, is nice and clean. Plenty of parking space. Many times there isnt many cashiers, so there is a bit of a wait time. IN MY OPINION if ACME would lower theirprices compare to the other supermarkets near by, and a few more cashiers I would be more than sure that a lot MORE customers will come in to the supermarket, ME INCLUDED. TO ME it would be a 5 star place if it wasnt for some of their prices and the bit of a wait time. I wouldnt mind going back though.

Great place to shop, they have everything you need. I come in and out in less than 30 minutes. My only complaint was today, there were four registers open. 2 of which were for 10 items or less, the other 2 registers were 6 people deep. The first 2 registers had no one. It’s all about customer service. Pull someone off the line and help. I wouldn’t mind waiting behind someone in a shorter line of the store isn’t busy.
