This DQ has been here before I was born it has a long history in Safford. I love the Nostalgia of it for myself. However the walk up counter is still closed when all other businesses are fully reopened. This is pretty disappointing.

Theres always a long line but they had one of the employees come out and take orders it really sped things up. They did a great job on all of our blizzards. Good job, keep up the great work!!!

Waited in line for 20 minutes. Ordered a hot fudge blizzard. Got my blizzard with not a drop of hot fudge whatsoever🤬

This may have been the best Blizzard Ive had in years. The candy was well mixed with the ice cream, not just on the top, with plain ice cream near the bottom. Also, the small cone was a very ample serving!Dairy Queen, you outdid yourself today. Very pleased.

Everything is great about this place but one of the drive-thru gos out on to the very busy highway 70, which can block traffic and has caused accidents in the past, overall great place but they need to close the west drive- thru.

Always enjoy a small blizzard when I visit Safford on an occasional basis. Long lines but worth the wait. Workers are efficient in filling requests.

This is the Dairy Queen in Safford, AZ and I have been going here since I can remember in the late seventies when I was a little kid. Same building, same two drive-thrus and yes its only Dairy Queen but its a slice of small town Americana and the hot fudge sundaes 🍨 are always great!

Had to have the order redone 2 times in one visit, i guess that the 3rd time is the charm. The workers all stood around doing talking and messing up every order.

Service is great! There are 2 lines to order from, one line is always a mile long because the other is off of the highway and very dangerous.

Love me some Dairy Queen. Tonight, I ordered a cocoa fudge shake -- one of my faves -- and it was perfect! Service was timely and friendly. I needed a pick me up, and they delivered!

My husband and I went here last night. This was the best experience at a DQ! They were friendly and made his shake the way he wanted it with xtra malt. I loved my hot fudge sundae too. Thank you to the staff. Great job!

Good ice cream a little pricey

Ice cream was delicious, reasonably priced. Staff friendly, easy access.

Always busy (even to the point theyll ignore you at the counter for a few minutes), and I feel unsafe driving in/out of there for its location. But the food is as good as any other and theyre involved in some nice causes.

Gila valley classic.The double drive thru is dangerous on the highway.The charged me more than the menu price, but it was good and the service was friendly.

Blizzards do not get fully mixed. It has been a long time since I have had a blizzard that has been fully mixed. Large parts of my blizzard are pure vanilla ice cream with out the flavor I ordered. Very disappointing. :(

It is an ok place just wish they would sell normal food and ice cream la sigh.

Treat was good but the drive through approach from highway 70 is definitely dangerous. Surprised the state doesnt make them move it back.

They are busy but quick. Never had a problem with the quality or accuracy of the orders.

Usually busy (which is good) but a safety concern, good food, more often than not mediocre service.

So slow in service I could have made at home.

Dairy Queen is Dairy Queen. Worst drive thru, poorly designed, extremely slow service. Small production area. Its been there a long time. Not going to change. Just dont be in a hurry. Expect to wait.

This is one of the few places in Safford where you get quick service and you have good employees working there that care about the customer.

Long line, Good Ice Cream

Its definitely nothing like any other DQ I have ever been to. The countertop is literally where they display prices. Leaving wheelchair operators unable to see the prices and options. Extremely slow service. Parking lot has maybe 4 spaces . You get blocked in due to drive thru line being behind you . Its not a plce i would ever go to again.

Im only knocking a star off this review because of the placement of the building.One side causes backed up traffic on the highway and the other side is just a pain to get out onto the highway from.Theres not much that can be done about that though.Other than that its what you want out if a Dairy Queen... except no actual food like some DQs.
