Very helpful staff. They were very attentive and answered all the questions we had. We never had to look far to find someone if we needed help. Found everything we needed and some great things on sale.

Friendly and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. Many of the employees here are well-known, talented local musicians. If you are selling some sort of instrument on your own, say on marketplace, they are awesome enough to provide a corresponding box AND bubble wrap and tape up your instrument for free!! Even if you didnt buy from or sell to guitar center! Both thumbs up!

Five minutes after showing up and mentioning my name to the manager, I get a message from a third person I barely know saying hey, what are you doing at Guitar Center? I ask how he knew I was there, and he says he heard it through a grapevine but mentions by name Ryan Cairo as being the initial source. Apparently Guitar Center Saginaw employees like to gossip about you pretty broadly and quickly as soon as you show up, because I barely know anyone in this town. I tried calling Ryan and working it out with him directly, but he chastised me for being too upset on the phone, and told me I wasnt welcome at his store. Funny, I had already decided I didnt want to shop there anymore. Dont shop here if you value your anonymity, I guess

I originally came to this store looking for my first guitar, and I had looked at an Ibanez online before I had made the hour hike up to this location. I had talked to Ryan on the phone before I had driven up there, and he helped me through the whole process. He was completely honest about everything, and was able to guide me away from the Ibanez as it wouldn’t have been a good choice for my first guitar. In the end I spent a little more money, but I was able to walk out with an AWESOME Carvin DC127, a far superior guitar to the one I was looking at, but still within my budget. Ryan was awesome because he saw me, a first time player just looking for a solid first guitar, and was able to guide me the right way without up-selling the life out of me, and that is HUGE! The rest of the team was very nice as well, and I will continue to come to this location for any future questions or needs because of the awesome experience I had.

Hi there! Exceptional service from Rob. 5-8-21 around 7:40ish. Somebody needs to give him a raise. He was very nice and understanding, he was quick, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. A good experience, such a cool guy!

I have a love/hate thing going on with Guitar Center. They have all the cool stuff, almost everything you would need at competitive prices but their staff is comprised of snotty millennials that clearly dont understand customer service. I find it difficult to believe they are rated this high on Google.

Generally a great place to shop. However, on this day my wife and I were shopping for a mid level keyboard for my son and was directed to the proper area for keyboards. We sampled about 6-7 different keyboards, had a few questions but nobody was available. Im not into chasing down sales people so we waited for about 10 minutes and we left without any answers and worse yet, no keyboard either,(Lost sale). Now dont get me wrong, this place is regularly great, weve purchased 3 guitars, one drum set, an electric drum set as well. Mustve been an off day. Better luck next time.

Beyond products, music shops anywhere are defined by the people that work there. Have been and always will be. This particular Guitar Center has an incredible staff of really nice people. Never a hint of judgement on music taste. Both of my boys have been learning instrument. Guitar and Drums. Both Brian and Rob have been amazing with their help to get them product knowledge, encouragement and have just been really kind and helpful and made all of our experiences, with each trip, a fun experience.

Brought my daughter in for her first guitar. Your employees acted like they couldnt care less and offered zero help. Ended up with a right hand guitar and my daughter is left handed. Had to go back after paying and get a guitar case and picks. Still have to get new strings. All small inconveniences but they could have been avoided if your employees just took 10 minutes and helped us.

Staff have bad attitude sometimes and cool attitudes the other times, guitar wise, don’t have anything special for electrics, have cool and vast selection of acoustics, mostly sell fenders, squires, eppiphones, and Gibson’s

We were looking for a particular guitar. The only store around that had it in stock was Saginaw. I called to verify before I left as I was driving from Lapeer. Rob, the manager was super helpful over the phone. He told me he wouldnt be there when I arrived later in the evening but he told me to ask for Jack. So I asked for Jack when I finally got there and he was great! He showed us the guitar and answered all of our questions! Definitely ask for Jack, he is super knowledgeable!

We bought a nice Taylor guitar. We were in the store about 15 minutes before anyone ask if they could help us. They werent real busy. They did offer a nice insurance option on guitar. It had a few light scratches but nothing real deep. Nice guitar we are pleased. Came with a cheap canvas case had to order hard case for an extra $150 and it was delivered to the house within 3 days.

Salesperson was VERY helpful when we had lots and lots of tough questions about digital pianos. Price was the same as Amazon but in a local shop.

The employees are incredibly helpful and friendly. I have a 10 year old and 2 year old who were going all over the place but no one seemed to mind. Its like they genuinely want kids to be interested in music and the equipment that comes along with it (music is life 😍😍). I always love our visits here.

Most people dont realize they offer lessons here: my children are really enjoying their music lessons with some wonderful music instructors. They are learning a lot and having fun making music!

Fair selection of guitars. My complaint was with the smarta$$ salesmen that were working. These guys were more concerned about who was making the coffee run than selling an instrument. Absolutely no customer service skills at all. I took my business to a local competeor. Little more money but exemplary customer service.

My brothers and I went into Guitar Center with little knowledge regarding electronic drum kits, however, with the help of Sean and his associates we not only left the store with a cleaner understanding of kits and key differences, but also a smile on our faces. Only when I absolutely need something and cant wait for it. This company, or at least the stores around me, have gone way down hill. The staff in Flint, MI is very lazy and extremely lacking in knowledge and customer service.

Just went in for a restring. Employee rebuilt part of my neck, shined the wood and metal, and got it back to me in 20 mins, for much cheaper than i though. Incredibly satisfied.

A huge thanks to the entire staff at Saginaw Guitar Center for the continued dedication for drum lessons, scheduling and willingness to setup for the end of lessons performance for my son. They are a great crew to work with.

This place is great. We went in to check out drum setfor my husband. Sean at that section helped us and was very very knowledgeable of drums, gave us great deals.

Same as all of the other ones. At times the staff is less then friendly and doesnt care about helping you. Weve spent a TON of money in this and other locations. We have around 8 guitars in our home. I dont know if they work on commission but, if you dont look like you have money they dont even offer to help you. Youll have to ask. I dont like going here unless I have to. The men/boys here are mostly uncaring and rude at times. I dont know if that has changed or not because I havent been here in quite a while. Maybe been here once in a year? I dont like to shop where they make you feel like youre wasting their time and they have better things to do. Id rather support a company or store who knows how they stay in business. Were small business owners as well. We know how people should be treated!

Everyone in here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they are more than willing to help with any questions you have to ask and also are a great resource. I buy all my equipment that I possibly can from here.
