Lead Heads LLC is the best Gun Store in the area by far. Ive bought a few firearms from them and even taken family and friends there whove bought firearms from them. We are all very satisfied. The prices are good and they have a good variety of items for purchase. Taylor is very knowledgeable, friendly, and straight up honest guy. I recently had some quality work done on a firearm and they did it within the time frame they said for the price quoted. You cant ask better than that. If you havent found your favorite place to go to for firearms this is it. If you already have and its not Lead Heads then thats only because you havent been to see them yet.EDIT:I realized that I need to make something clear. Although Ive mostly worked with Taylor ALL of the employees there are in the same boat. All are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Ive never once had (nor heard of) any problems, complaints, or anything other the praise from all who work there. You just cant go wrong with visiting the store and whoever happens to help you!

I would highly recommend going to see Taylor for any questions. He is honest and wont oversell you. He treats you with respect and does not talk down to you. He helped me out customizing my gun for my wife. He had an opportunity to sell me more than what I needed, but he was honest in telling what would work and saved me some money. He came through on his timeline promise as well. It was a great experience.

These guys are awesome! Ive been to the store many times for many reasons. Ive bought guns, ammo and done a few FFL transfers. Every time theyve been friendly and helpful. If you know a lot about guns youll enjoy going to this store. More importantly, if you know nothing about guns definitely visit this store. They know what theyre doing. I went into the store with a friend to buy some ammo and I received the third degree. They didnt have any self-defense bullets I needed.. I wanted some fmj bullets and the sales guy started asking me hypothetical questions about scenarios that didnt and would most likely wont ever happen. They didnt want to sell me some ammo and they didnt sell any bullets I wanted

These guys have not ceased to impress over the last few months by being professional, prompt, and helpful regardless of if I was the only person in the store or inundated with customers. They even went above and beyond to get a firearm that I did not even purchase from them quickly transferred to me when I was flying out of town for 3 weeks so it would not be shipped back resulting in a likely restock fee from the vendor. I had a slight issue with the controls on one of my handguns and asked if they could take a look at it. They quoted me a several day turn around, but before I got home that day they called me up and let me know the issue was already resolved. Its worked great since, and their work was done quickly and professionally. The staff is knowledgeable, the prices are competitive, and the workmanship on my repair was top-notch. These guys running this store really know their stuff. This is a great place to purchase guns, accessories and even have work done on a firearm. I brought in an older .357 revolver and they took great pride in working on it and making it just right before I picked it up.

Excellent customer service. Purchased a molded holster about a month ago and found the belt loops were to big, they were changed out no questions asked and had it done in about 2 minutes. They go the extra mile to make sure youre happy with the purchase.

These guys are the real deal. Dont think this is some fudd gun counter or high pressure sales place, this is a gun store owned and operated by real 2A Enthusiasts. Need a daily carry for your wife? Bring your wife. They wont even sell you something until shes present and actually manipulates the firearm in question - just to be sure its a good fit. The prices are competitive and they can order just about anything.Had them do Cerakote work on my stuff and it looks phenomenal, and the price was right. Cerakote certified applicator, as well.Come in, ask questions, get learned. Buy local, support these guys. They are great, honest, good people.

I previously purchased a gun from this store on a whim more or less due to the outstanding customer service and general good nature of the attending sales person. The last TWO times I have attempted contact once in person and today by phone I was met with abrupt one word answers and lackluster service. If I didnt know better Id think they did not want my business. Im twice a veteran of a foreign war and have been a firefighter for 11 consecutive years since. This is not the kind of service Id expect from a company which touts itself as Veteran owned. The only reason for two stars is because I doubt I dealt with the ownership on either of my last two contacts.

I called this store to make sure Ill be able to transfer a gun I recently purchased online. Whoever answered the phone I honestly didnt hear his name, hence I asked who I was speaking to, the reply, in a very rude manner Lead Heads LLC how can I help you. I asked for your name, but ok. I asked if they could provide email with copy of ffl since the seller wanted proof before sending the gun. The reply, as soon as I finished explaining was no I am not doing any of that, they can call me or send me an email if they want blah blah blah. That rudeness cost you a customer that went to another local store that was WILLING TO WORK with the transfer, and that was POLITE when explaining things! You lost the money of the transfer, ammo, two mags, an $1800 scope, and a customer that will NEVER buy anything at your store. Good luck.

Friendly and helpful. So many gun shop talk down to custmers but not here. I took in a shotgun that has a problem. They fixed the problem in a couple of minutes and would not take any money. Most place would have charged $50 to $100. They are also looking for a special other gun for me.Great place to shop.

Quick and easy FFL transfer. Had a Glock 23 sent to the shop and everything went smoothly. Being a first time buyer of a firearm, the process was a little intimidating, but these guys were nice, professional and made sure I had everything I needed done before walking out the door. With all these super sized, impersonal gun stores popping up in the metroplex, it’s nice to go into a local shop that’s well run and well stocked where you are treated like a valued customer. I have now had two custom holsters made by a Lead Heads and they are both awesome. Both were also made while I waited. If you live in the Saginaw / Fort Worth area, give Lead Heads a try. You’ll be surprised how much merchandise they carry for a small location.

Had a problem figuring out how to re-assemble my new Kimber 45. Taylor had showed me what I was doing wrong and at no time did I feel like I was being judged for my inexperience with a new manufacturers firearm. This guy is very down to earth, helpful, and knowledgeable as well as very polite. This is going to be my new go to store from now on.

Been coming here since the place opened with Norm, wasnt a fan of his attitude, so I stopped going. When I heard there was a new owner, I gave it a second shot and was pleased with how professional and helpful taylor is. Ive bought multiple items from lead heads and taylor has even ordered parts he doesnt have in store. Now as for the bearded guy that just started months ago, he seriously needs an ego check, I dont like dealing with the guy, he isnt helpful and likes hearing himself talk more then anything. Something Taylor will say he has or can help with over the phone the other guy will turn you away with a straight no or cant help you.. 4 stars for Taylor, but you lose one for having a douche employee that feels annoyed by a paying customer.

Great find! New to the area, was working on building a new lower receiver for an AR, when I lost the roll pin for the bolt catch! Could not find it anywhere. Called lead heads and spoke with Taylor, he said he had one and even stayed open an extra 5 minutes to make sure I was able to get there. Highly recommend, and will be going back for all my fire arm needs!!

They have extremely competitive prices and are very reliable. Cannot recommend them enough.(2nd visit months later) these guys really do you go above and beyond to make your life easy. Couldn’t be more helpful and Taylor fixed my AR-15. Stayed after hours to do so. Super knowledgeable about the market and trust me, I’ve searched, and their prices are better, or at the very least equal to anywhere else you’ll look.

I walked into Normans store for the first time and I couldnt be more pleased. Norman was very nice and professional knew his products very well. I purchased a rifle from his store,his prices are competitive or better then going into a big name store. Poor attitude. Been there twice. Guy was ridiculous both times. I asked how much transfers were and he responded that they were 100 dollars. He doesnt want to do them and said so. If you dont then just dont do them. He was very snide in how he responded. He said his prices were better than shipping and transfer anyway. Thats not always the case. His selection is not big enough to say he can cover any gun you can find online. Selection is small and prices are in alignment with retail shops (not as low as online). I like to support local gun shops. This one I cant. Save your money and go to Trinity Ordnance. They treat you like the important customer that you are. I will not be back.
