I just had my Voyage Air travel guitar, set up and worked on, by Hillel, the proprietor of Frets and Necks! Wow-wee-wow! It plays and responds like a totally different guitar now! The action is now perfect for my small to midsize hands! Hillel adjusted the action, neck, and some minor fret work, without breaking my bank! He’s a very honest and thorough craftsman! Also a very down to earth professional musician, that treats the very average, at best player like me, just as I was a professional myself! I highly recommend this shop for guitar repairs and setups! Dropped my son’s guitar off for a fix on the output jack. Not only was the fix done quickly, but Mr. Lugo added a lock washer that was missing which caused the issue. Very professional, very responsive, super knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend!!

Fast turn around time and a great set up, the guitar I sent Halel has never played so well, he leveled, and dressed my frets and set the neck back straight, got out a ton of buzz, and did it in time for me to play it that night. Ive got another sitting in my lap ready to send his way. Halels set up reminds me a lot of Sam swanks work and is who he is replacing since Sams semiretirement. Take your guitars here and be happyJust got back my 2nd guitar from halel, this is a beautiful custom made guitar that came to me with high action and a bottomed out tune o matic bridge. I machined the bridge and took it to halel, it was buzzing all over and a real nightmare to play. Now this beautiful hollow body sings and cries in ways that make me smile. Ive got an old acoustic that has 24 years on its last set up by Sam swank, I remember how well it felt then, cant wait until the wife lets me haul it in. Take your guitars here and get that better than new feel again.
