Ordered chicken pad Thai and Tom ka guy soup. Both were way too salty. Noodles were lightly flavored except for the salt. Soup was less too-salty but the chicken was surprisingly tender.I wont be ordering again.

I had ordered drunken noodles, pad siew, green curry fried rice and panang curry. The panang curry was okay. However, the rest of the items were bland. Absolutely tasteless.. the drunken noodles and pad siew noodles were big lumps of noodles tossed in oil with some veggies.. there was no soy sauce, no spices in noodles.. I had ordered for extra spicy rice.. the rice had no spice at all.. no taste.. no curry fry taste.. I was very upset with the taste and quality of the food. So I called up the restaurant and asked for refund. The owner and the server both were not only rude but also werent apologetic. They said they were busy and didnt even have time to have a patient ear to the complaints. They spoiled our weekend dinner.. I will not order from this restaurant ever again. So I wouldnt recommend ordering from Bangkok Thai Bistro if you are looking for authentic Thai..

Ooohhh my. This meal is outstanding!So good we ordered dinner to go. Fresh real ingredients made with care. Did I say fresh? The the garnish is beautiful. This is what eating out used to be. I am so impressed. I am from out of town and happened to find this establishment by shear luck. And I feel so lucky after my find today. Thank you.

Wonderful! Delicious fresh vegetables in perfectly spiced traditional & tasty variations from a talented Thai chef. Many meat & seafood choices in a big menu, served in bright presentations. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality & taste in post-pandemic times. A great find!

I ordered the drunken noodles. Spice and taste were spot on. Bursting with flavor.The waitress was very helpful and had great customer service.My new favorite spot.

Prices are fine. Staff was kind. But better Thai elsewhere in town. Curry tasted like spicy coconut milk.

The old owner sold it and now its American Thai food. Green curry was way too spicy, bland flavoring, and coconut milk tasted spoiled. Doesnt taste authentic. Our waitress was nice but food wasnt worth it.

Pad Kee Mao was delicious. Presentation was even awesome. Will be back.

Ordered through uber eats and the delivery was flawless however, the seafood such as the calamari in hawaiian rice was not fresh. Unfortunately did not taste like calamari and had a distinct ammonia smell to it which usually indicates it is bad and I had to throw it out. The remaining entrées appeared to be ok and tasty.

Super great food. Choo Cee Duck was amazing. Flavorful with some spice and great veggies. My coworker really liked his curry.The bathrooms smelled musty and floor was sticky. Not a deal breaker because the food was so good, but noteworthy.

I order yellow curry from this place all the time. It used to be good, but the last 2 times it tastes bland like they forgot the tumeric, and the orders are coming incorrectly. Won’t be ordering from them again

Wow. This is the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Perfect flavor and spice. Taste super fresh and quality for sure. I’m so happy ordered from here!! I’ll be ordering more in the future! Yellow curry with chicken and potstickers is what I had. Delicious!

I usually give this place a great rating. The only reason why tonight is not 5 stars is because Ive been on the pot all night after eating (and I have a gut of steel) and the food wasnt spicy enough even though I picked the hot option and my wife got sticky rice with hair in it. Pretty disappointed.You can do better Bangkok Thai Bistro. We love you but tonight was not your best night.. by a long shot.

This little gem is located a couple blocks North of Kuebler on Commercial. Its Tucked into a corner, but WELL worth finding. The first thing you notice is the nice decorations and welcoming feel. You are then greeted by friendly staff and presented with a menu stuffed full of a huge variety of dishes. All this is nice, but the real treat is in the food. Fresh, authentic and oh so yummy! I have been twice already and both experiences have been wonderful. Cant wait to go back!

Peanut Noodles with Chicken was very good as was the Calamari appetizer. Light and fluffy but crunchy coating on the Calamari. Great peanut sauce on the chicken and noodles noodles. The disappointing dish was the Tom Kha soup. No flavor to speak of. I will try it again because the other dishes were so good, it might have just been an off day. Definitely will go back.

The food is fresh and delicious, generous portions and very clean and safe inside waiting for pickup during the pandemic. Great prices as well.

I have eaten here 3 times and the food is really good. Im especially happy with the green curry and the amount of egg plant they put in. The quality, portion sizes and price are amazing.Their portion of green curry is probably 20% more than any other place Ive ever been and yet a chicken green curry is only $10.95. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is there noodle dishes were not spot on. The pad thai that I had the day before lacked flavor and sauce. The pad see ew I had was served with American broccoli and carrots which is contradictory to the picture they have on their website. The service can be a little unorthodox and Im not sure if its a breakdown between their kitchen and service staff but everyone tries really hard. The server I had on two occasions works really hard and she does a good job. You really cant be too critical for the portion size and the prices they are currently charging. Great new addition to South Salem.

Wow. I called to find out about their menu and was told they were too busy to answer my questions. So they lost my business. I guess I will try somewhere else!

I am giving it three stars because it was the first time we have eaten there and only tried one dish but I am reticent to try it again it was so poor. We got the Red Curry and ordered it Thai hot. it came watery for a curry and on the mild side. We went in on a Saturday night and it was busy but they are understaffed. The server, who we know works at other Thai restaurants, did her best but it was hard to keep up with the business. Things were not in order in the place. Again, only my first time but it lacked flavour that Thai should have.

The food is hit or miss! Spring rolls were yummy, satay chicken was very overcooked, curry had no flavor, mango sticky rice was soooo good until we found a hair in it :(

I am not shy with spice. I love heat. When I try a new place I order medium so I can gauge how hot the food comes. Most places I end up ordering hot the second time around. I ordered medium from Bankok Thai and it came so hot it gave me a coughing fit. I tried to hang in there but after 4 bites I quit. Looking at it now I see crushed red pepper flakes coating every bit of food in my order.

I know theyre just settling in here, but all the food we ordered was excellent, which included appetizers, soup, main dishes, and dessert. Ive been to Bangkok several times, and this is authentic Thai food!

I had Panang Curry and Drunken Noodles. It was a very generous serving size and the food tasted great.

I’ve tried several Thai places around Salem and IMO this is the best. Small place, and wonderful staff. Try the Tom Yum!

I ordered several appetizers, entrees, and a desert. EVERYTHING IS DELICUOS! Definitely try the thai basil duck and the mango sticky rice! Staff is super friendly too.
