Local food lion is the best to get in and out quickly and a more personal, friendly,family oriented atmosphere. Everything stays stocked and in the same place as it was when i was a kid. I prefer this store above the larger chain supermarkets do to the location staff selection of product, deli, restroom cleanliness, ease of parking . All around a great local market 5/5 hope its always around .

Not busy. Prices are little lower which is good. Place was very clean. The only thing Ive seen is the ladies that work day time need to be much more friendly. People they know their nice to but are short an sassy with most customers. Not being ugly cause retail can wear on you but they are being paid to work. Id still go back when passing through. 😇

This was a great experience I wanted to use my map card but she scanned hers I was bummed but pressed for time. So got my items and went.

Just to say.... BABABOOM clean sparkly supermarket! The staff super friendly and attended to your shopping needs. The prices are excellent! More for mine money. The store had what I was looking for, not crowded, but not where I regularly get my groceries.

Friendly staff, clean store, easier to park for just a few things then hassling with larger store parking lots. I come to get a few items not available elsewhere and the meat department has excellent quality meat.

Got in and out quickly. Store clean and well stocked. Courteous employees who offered help when they thought I needed it. I like that very often I encounter a bag boy who is very much appreciated.

I lobe the fact they have ACTUAL PEOPLE running the registers! They have a lot of stock to choose from.

The young man named Stephen (great name!) running register #1 on September 20 at about 6:20 PM is possibly the best bagger I think I have ever seen. I wouldn’t have ever said there is an art to bagging groceries until I saw him work. Super fast, carful, efficient, and pleasant. He packs a perfect bag. It’s not everyday you get to see someone take pride in something like packing a bag.The store is great I drive away from a closer food lion to go to this store. They do not always have every item on my list but 9 times out of 10 I leave with everything.

Bathroom was clean and fresh. Two deli items were purchased and they were delicious.

Was able to visit with my semi truck. No k e t o food. Better pricds than Publix but not as nice.

Finally no self service! Kroger makes you buy your groceries, ring them up, bag them!!!!

Terrible customer service. The front end manager waits til lines are way too long to call for assistance. Her cell phone gets more attention than paying attention to how many customers are in line to waiting to get checked out. Please install self checkout register, just a row, please.

Store is always clean. Employees are helpful. I wanted a product not on shelf. They checked with back of store truck just delivered and found it and even went through @nd got what I wanted instead of just saying come back tomorrow. Now that is customer service, this is why I shop here instead of Kroger

I went in search of mincemeat pie filling 🥧 I have looked all over Roanoke, Walmart,Krogers even frozen pies none finally found some at my local Food Lion in Salem Va now I can make my mince tarts like my Mom used to do yay!!!

I must have got this store after a heavy shopping day, many shelves were empty or almost empty but staff were restocking. Ice had to be retrieved by staff. I was able to get what I came for and the staff was very helpful.
