Difficult to find a parking space. Took several phone calls to get an appointment. They say they have a life time warranty on windshield replacement. Dont believe it.

They chipped my paint on my brand new car its taken them two months to come out after multiple emails and pictures I sent and when they do finally come by, I wasnt around and without my permission they put touch up paint and ruin my paint job .Im now filling vandalism charges on Aaron and Sam from this Salinas CA store

There was an issue with the Volkswagen dealership sending the wrong glass, but the Safelite team took care of the issue in a timely manner. They called me with any updates that they had and when they said they would call me they would call. I am extremely happy with Safelite. Thank you guys!

Awesome experience, they didn’t have a part to complete install (due to backlog at Toyota) so I was called way ahead to rescheduled. In and out in about an hour, everyone was very nice. I noticed the tech relationship with the manager is excellent, very professional with each other and you could see they are a high functioning team.

Extremely unsatisfied2 times with the same truck they came with the wrong windshield. Each time they had to reorder and reschedule.Had to call for warranty on the second windshield because the review mirror/ camera was coming loose. Set up a morning appointment from 8:00 to 1:00. Didn’t show and had to call the technician show up at 2:00 and broke the windshield while installing it. End up installing a broken windshield and told me the shop would call me. They never did had to call and spend one hour in the phone.

The BEST experience I ever had repairing my car. They repaired my entire windshield incredibly fast. I had great customer service from start to end, from the lady at the counter, to the man Anthony who repaired my windshield. First of all, I had the mobile service and the experience was great. Setting up the appointment, then having to change it, was easy. They keep you well informed about the estimate, the service timing and then they show you the status of the technician while en-route to your house. Apolinar did a great job...professional, friendly and quick.

For 7 months my convertible top would not go down in my Camaro. The problem started not long after getting my windshield replaced by your company in Salinas, CA.The Chevy dealership has had my vehicle for weeks and finally came across the problem. Your techs physically cut the wires underneath my windshield glass and disabled my convertible top which has been broken for 7 months. Why didn’t your techs tell me about this? Your company needs to address the actions of the Salinas Safelite location.

My first scheduled appointment was a bust, but at no fault of the business or technician. It was just a miscommunication. When I did get my appointment and windshield repair, I was pleasantly surprised. The technician was courteous, on-time and conveniently accommodating. At first he wasnt sure he could fix my windshield without cracking it further, but ultimately, he did a fabulous job and you can barely see the very deep and large crack that was in windshield. Thank you Safelite. (Sorry, I forgot the technicians name, but please relay my thanks for his great job.)

I got quoted $500 for a windshield. I asked if they price match. Manager (all snobby) told me NO. I got it replaced from a competitor for $250...$250!.

I had an at home passenger window replacement appointment made a week out. I got a few emails confirming the appointment over that week. Day of I get a call to again confirm they would be coming between 3-5 that day. I planned around it and waited, and waited, and finally at 5:15 I call the number on the email and someone picks up then immediately hangs up. I call back to get an automated sorry we are closed message. So I call the number that called me in the morning. Turns out its the tech who was surprised the office hadnt called me. He said he called them at 1 saying he wasnt going to be able to make my appointment. He tells me he will call his boss and get back to me. Ten minutes later he calls again and asks if I heard from his boss. I say no, and he is confused. He says sorry and that he doesnt know what to do but that Im definitely not getting a new window that day and would have to reschedule. He gives me the number he just called to talk to his boss to reschedule and when I call it just rings forever.I was done. I called my insurance and transferred the claim to another more reliable and competent provider.

Just had my glass repaired there, JJ was awesome, very nice. And the other fellow who fix my glass was also nice. They are fast and quick and give you pointers if you ask. The parking is a little weird but the storefront is on the opposite side. They also have coffee. My appointment was at 9am and I left at 10am.

Incredibly substandard repair with entire parts left off the vehicle by the technician. My car ended up at the dealership to fix the damage done by safelite. And specially to the response from owner below: the store manage acknowledged the error, purchased the most sizable missing component and had it shipped to me, but ultimately safelite was unable to correct the damage done to the vehicle wiring and subsequently referred me to the dealer.

Went in to have windshield replaced on my Toyota Pickup truck. Good job with the windshield but apparently the installer removed my antenna and forgot to put it back on. So I called the local Safelite office but they redirect to the national office... then after about 25 minutes of being on hold, I said to the representative, wouldn’t you think to call me back, instead of having me on hold for 25 minutes? She answers, “We don’t do call-backs.” We got into a pretty heated argument and I started talking over her... I was getting upset (no insults, though, just logic). She hung up on me.

I was on hold on the phone for 120 minutes waiting to make initial contact with a representative. I recieved no information of whether my call would be taken or not even though I called near the beginning of the buisness day according to the hours listed on their page. This is longer than it takes to get a DMV rep on the phone. Seems like they have no regard for their customers or potential customers time. Horrible customer service. They say I can adjust my appointment online, but my appointment doesnt even show up. No one picked up after 2 hours so I hung up...

Did things I didnt even ask them to do but I am glad that they did (like vaccuming out glass from my windshield defrost system). Good people.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Scheduled appt for same day work and drove 2.5hrs to make it to the appt on time...only to find out that my vehicle requires an OEM windshield. First of all, 3 different reps that I spoke to NEVER told me that OEM is required NOR did they tell me that OEM windshields need to be requested, pre-ordered and will take several days to arrive. Even spoke to the Customer Service Supervisor and there was still so much disconnect and confusion between the shop and his department. Shop employees were not even understanding of my anger and frustrations. I had to tell them to understand that I just drove 2.5hrs to get to the shop in time and now Ive just wasted total 5 hours to be told that I need to reschedule. Shop technicians should KNOW ALREADY whether OEM is required or not ahead of time...I mean, they are the windshield installation experts right!! From customer service to technical support...the level of incompetence is just beyond me!!! WOW! Where is their claimed commitment to quality, fast, easy, convenient and stress-free repairs. First time trying them out....definitely MY LAST!!! Ive replaced my windshield of numerous cars Ive owned over the years and its always been quick and easy. Safelite should spend less money on bogus advertisements and spend that money on MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EDUCATION/TRAINING BECAUSE IT IS YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT PAY YOUR SALARIES!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. What a complete joke. Im a company truck driver, so my maintenance sets up the appointment with this Safelite location because Ill be here overnight and moving on. No call or any communication to me or my company. Later I find out that the technician told his manager that my truck was not in this state and to delete the job! Now at that point wouldnt it make sense for the manager to call the company that scheduled it and ask questions instead of just deleting it!? Come on people, is common sense really that difficult!? If I get a ticket, Safelite better be prepared to pay it!

Installed a windshield in less than an hour and great service.

Unfortunately we were told an hour to an hour and a half for the repair. We had a 1 pm appointment. We did not leave until 315. If they give you an estimated time add an hour. We relied on their representation and got burned.

Professional service, professional workmanship would recommend had my front windshield replaced on my BMW with no problems.

I’ve been waiting a month for Safelite to fix my windshield (through my AAA insurance). I’ve made 3 appointments for mobile service and they cancelled two at the last minute. Today they finally showed up but with the wrong part. Most of the times I’ve tried calling I cannot get through to a person.

Scheduled an apt, told me we were set up for Tuesday the 24th of May, no phone call, no text, no e-mail, called to find out what happened, very apologetic, sorry we can reschedule for Friday May 27th. offered discount and I accepted. well here it is Friday still no call no show!! called them back said she sees all my info, credit card, address, phone no., text, e-mail . but Im not on the schedule. what the hell, this company needs some smarter employees, not happy to say the least, need to go out of town with broken windshield now

The glasses cost half of an original and have 6 months warranty but buying your windshield wipers. For 35 dollars more they come and install it in your house.I was surprised by its good glass product quality. I dont see any detail very well.
