Was not very impressed. When I walked in the door I was greeted, nice. Told them I had an appointment. Was told to sit down and someone would be with me shortly. A young lady (I think she was new) went and sat at the computer. She continued to ignore me and she finally said something and I could not hear her and asked if she was talking to me. She said, yes, and then went back to her computer and didnt say anything for a couple more minutes. The exam was fine. I guess what really got to me was when I went to actually order my glasses and was asked if I had selected my frames. I said I had and was told to get them. I probably took 15 seconds to get the frames and when I came back she was waiting on another person. I waited another 15 to 20 minutes while she waited on the other person. No acknowledgement that she would be with me shortly. When she finally finished no apology for having to wait. Ordering the actual glasses was a little confusing. I dont think I will return to Stanton Optical in the future.P.S. The young lady who I think was the manager was very nice and helpful, but I had very little contact with her.

Just found out I needed glasses so I started here. Made an appointment, showed up early, was attended promptly. Natasha was my tech and she did a great job. Very patient and helpful. I dropped in this store a few days ago to have my glasses tightened. They were really rude, and questioning me if I purchased the glasses or lenses from them or not. They reluctantly agreed to tighten them, the employee wearing blue scrubs didnt even ask how they fit or what needed adjustment. She just took the glasses from me, the heated the ear peice up and bent them. The right side was not even, she didnt even ask if they were okay she just walked away after handing them back to me. Very disappointed I do not recommend this store!

I recently bought some frames at lens crafters but I wasn’t able to afford prescription sunglasses my friend recommended Stanton and I won’t regret giving this location a chance I was able to get prescription polarization sunglasses for 99 that price is incredible thank you so much lady’s

Girls in the front are nice & courteous but the doctor Oliver needs to do a better job. I went back for a follow up and I told him that from far away the contacts were working great but from 5ft and closer my vision was actually worse with the contacts on. He took another eye exam and kept the prescription the same without altering anything, almost as if he didnt care about what I told him. It seems that he should get his eyesight checked or simply retire since hes definitely getting up their in age. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.UPDATE: Regional manager, Eduardo Ortiz reached out to me personally and apologized for my bad experience. He even came all the way from Fresno to meet me at the store to make things right. Had a great time interacting with him and the brand manager, Tanya. I WAS ROBBED by Stanton Optical!! I went for my appointment and they couldnt find the coverage for my wife and daughter and so I was charged $300 even though they were covered under my policy! When I went back to ask them to bill my insurance for their mistake they refused. They insisted that I needed to do that myself. Never going back!!! I advise you to stay away! They are not worth it. In addition to that they had my wife and daughters glasses at their store and never contacted us to come and get them. Very unprofessional! I wont be going back again!

The managers at this location are amazing I was upset because my glasses were not under warranty it ended during COVID I explained to them my situation and they took good care of my vision needs. They care for their customers god bless this location

So very disappointed, made appointments to get exams. Was never told that it was virtual dr., I should have been given a choice to not make that type of exam. It’s not because of covid. This is their standard practice. The girls were late opening up. If they felt the need to send me 6 reminders thru email and text the least they could do is be on time. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!First, let me just say: BAIT & SWITCH ADVERTISING!I have ordered two pairs of glasses from them. Was supposed to hear from them a week ago. NOTHING!When I called to find out if they were ready, I was informed theyd been there a week. When I asked NANCY why they hadnt notified me, she replied, oh, thats corporates fault. Not ours. When I explained that this was a problem on their end that needed to be corrected, she said, okay, fine! And hung up on me!Ive was on hold for 15 minutes waiting to speak with Nancys supervisor about her amazing customer service skills (NOT!). It has already been reported to District management. I CANT WAIT for the opportunity to speak with them IN PERSON when I go in to pick up my glasses.

I went in May 08’ 20 for an eye exam. Got the deal buy one get second frame free. Payed like $500 still. I constantly kept checking my order status. I still do till this day. On my order status it says my sunglasses are ready for pick up. Not my regular glasses. I went to go pick up my sunglasses and they ended up giving me my regular glasses instead which was fine with me cause I need those more. Till this day I haven’t received my sunglasses. Who do I need to call in order to get what I payed for cause I know I got charged for the lenses for those sunglasses?

I was kinda scared to come here because of the reviews i saw online but the price was good so i had to give it a try. I got an eye exam and it was different the doctor was online he was very polite and helpful i didnt like the glasses that were 2 for 59 so i decided to get another promotion 2 for 98 and it took 2 weeks for them to come in i was able to see clear and the staff was helpful i will definitely come here again im glad i gave it a try

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is horrible. First of all, you don’t see an actual optometrist, it’s someone on a tv screen doing your exam. They don’t explain anything while doing eye tests. I got the wrong eye prescription and they said I “just need to get used to the glasses”. 2 weeks later of wearing them and glasses still extremely blurry. When my glasses came in, they never told me, I found out by checking the status online. So now I have to go back for another exam and hope they get it right and wait 2 more weeks for new glasses again. For your own good, DO NOT GO HERE.

Horrible service, my frame broke and customer service scheduled and appointment for a frame specialist to evaluate the frame and let me know whether it was covered under warranty or not. The frame specialist was just plain lazy! She Never got off her chair to come to the door and take my temperature and provide hand sanitizer like the sign said at the entrance. Then she takes my frame tells me she will put in a frame claim but she will not know if they even make the fame still and wont know for TWO weeks!! Two weeks go by and no call and specially no answer from their office. I finally get in there only to deal with the same frame specialist. I told her I missed placed the ID number she gave me at the beginning and she tells me she cant help me out because she needs that specific ID number. I asked if she can use my name and DOB to find the information and she said no. So she provides me with a different contact number where they will supposedly help me out. I come home look for the ID number, I dont find it and call the number. The same frame specialist answers and looks up my information with my name and DOB!!😡She puts me on hold to go check the back and see if the frame came in! She could have done that the day a stood in front of her! But she made me go through all that trouble because she was lazy and didnt want to run to the back and check for me!!! Some people dont deserve their jobs!!!

Very unprofessional! I went there to fix my glasses, they order me a new frame and told me to wait a couple of weeks for the frame to arrive because with COVID-19 everything is taking more time. It’s been almost two months! and still no call or new information about when will it arrive. I went back last week and the reps told me that they couldn’t tell me a date or when my frame will arrive????? Why? I know with covid everything is taking more time but almost two months?? They never call you when your glasses are ready you need to figure it out! The reps are very very unprofessional! I will not recommend this place to anyone anymore!

Amazing staff I had an appointment today at 130pm but I was 45minutes late due to traffic I was afraid that they wouldnt take me in, Luckily they didnt question why I was late they immediately took me in and preformed the exam the, jocilyn was such a great help with my insurance that you staff.

I ended up buying two frames for my prescription. One of the frames was scratched in the middle and did not look new. I asked if I could get a new frame. They said they would have to order it and it might take a week or two and that they would call me when they were ready. 2 months later I had not received any call so I went to inquire about my glasses. They were apparently ready so I finally got my glasses. EXCEPT, they were the same frames with the same scratches.UPDATE: I was contacted by one of the managers (Tanya), she apologized and asked me to come back to see what they could do to help. Although I did not have a great first experience, the fact that they took the time to reach out to me and try to fix my issue was very surprising. I am very thankful to Tanya and her excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Stanton Optical!

The process was unlike anything I had experienced before. It was very comfortable and fast paced! The initial exam was conducted quickly and the staff was extremely nice. It was my first eye exam in years, and the staffed worked with me to get the best prescription. I have a very high prescription so the eye exam took a while, but the staff was very accommodating and took their time.The frame selection was pretty good and I found a great deal to get two frames! I ended up having to choose between four pairs down to two. A much better experience I have had at other private practices and Costco.

My first visit for exam was very uncomfortable the ladies make you feel like an inconvenience to them. After exam I was told two weeks before two sets of glasses would be in. I went 2 weeks later and only one pair was ready the other pair needed some adjustments and only manager could fix them. I have been on the phone for two hours and no one is available to help to let me know if they are ready. I live 90 mins away so it’s not like I can get on car to go check I’m person. I will never use them again.

Unless you are having your eye exam done by the onsite doctor, I dont recommend this place for eye exams. Received 2 incorrect prescriptions (my son and my husband) and they have been able to assist me in getting them scheduled with the onsite doctor for a retest. Pricing for Eye Glasses are competitive, but definitely wouldnt recommend getting the virtual eye exam, which is what they offer.

My son broke his glasses while visiting in Salinas. We got an exam and trial contacts the same day which was great. However, he was required to return to get the prescription. He tried 3 times & had to leave. We called Brian the manager who assured us he would mail the prescription. We still havent received it. They wanted to charge me extra to overnight it. This is the most disorganized, poorest customer service I have ever received. They are nice for the exam & while collecting your money but lie about follow ups and follow through.

From that moment through the eye exam, picking frames, to finalizing my business, I was treated with such kindness, and professionalism. I was intrigued by the super funny commercials. Decided that my daughter would be the test subject, so we headed down to our local Stanton optical (Salinas,CA). Immediately we were greeted warmly by Sesilia. She walked my daughter through the details of her eye exam, and in no time, my daughter was done with her exam. She picked out a couple of frames that she was super excited about and we were out the door. Super friendly, super efficient, and super helpful.
