The flavors here are unique. As a Coloradan, this place reminds me of Little Man Ice Cream in Denver. The staff was extremely friendly. The location is clean and trendy. My husband and I stopped by for a sweet treat on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed our desert!

These flavors are quite unique. They have some with rosemary, thyme, beets, and olive oil. Cant say I enjoyed them all, but every person has their own likes. They let you sample each flavor so there is plenty to try. They are Eco-friendly as all their bowls and spoons are compostable.

They have a wonderful variety of flavors. You can pick 2 flavors in the small size. Some flavors are there all the time (like coffee with cream), and some are seasonal (like mocha). I had both in my tasty waffle cone. The mocha was great, but the coffee with cream was bland. My friend’s vanilla with honey was a soft mix of flavors, but the seasonal bourbon pecan had too much cinnamon. All in all, it was a good experience. They took Apple Pay.

I thought it was a fun experience here. Unique flavors, made with local ingredients. Its considered artisanal so its going to be more money and smaller portions compared to typical ice cream parlors. But my review is based on the uniqueness of the flavors and my experience. I got their goat cheese/thyme/honey, the roasted beets and mint and fresh mint and chocolate chunks. I really loved the goat cheese and honey!!! And it was just really nice to sit outside and enjoy it with my family.

Been here twice now. Its definitely a boutique creamery. Matched with the expensive nature of the Pearl shopping area. In the end, its ice cream and its good.

What a lucky find. Really went out of the box with my flavor choices, and was absolutely floored by how accurate and stellar the flavor profiles were. My friend tasted my goat cheese and thyme, and went back up after he was finished with his for a full serving of it. You know its good when you go for seconds!

I tried the vegan chocolate and another flavor that was also vegan (I think it was caramel something or other but I cant remember). Both were delicious- very thick, creamy, and decadent. Didnt take a picture until it was almost gone because it was so good.

Amazing ice cream, super cute store, and great price for the quality of the ice cream! I had the Texas Sheet Cake flavor and the Dark Chocolate with Olive Oil and Sea Salt (I believe is what it was called); both were amazing. The Lavender flavor is also delicious. Ice cream was excellent. Even the weird flavors. Peach rosemary was amazing. The blackberry basil was great. Blueberry crumble, coffee with cream and Texas sheet cake were other flavors our group had and loved. Really all of it. Love that its all quality ingredients. My daughter loved both vegan flavors she had - chocolate chocolate and caramel cream. Also love that you can sample whatever flavors you want. 2 scoops for $4.99, 3 scoops for $6 something and 4 scoops for $7 something.

Magically delicious! This seems like a shop that should have been featured on the Cooking Channels Unique Sweets show. Im a ride-or-die vanilla and chocolate and usually wont consider any other options, especially ones that are fruit based. However, the flavor combinations here were so interesting, I couldnt help but step outside my comfort zone. Highly recommend the blueberry crumble and and the goat cheese and thyme. The ice cream -- made locally -- also has a unique texture, halfway between frozen yogurt and shaved ice. Very happy to see that Lick is doing their part to help the environment with compostable bowls and utensils. Please support this small business -- and expand it across the country!!

What a wonderful place! The flavors were amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. Such a different taste than store-bought ice cream. Its like when you go to Europe and have fruit juice-and its tasty but also really strange-and you have to remind yourself that this is ACTUALLY what its supposed to taste like-and the stuff you have at home, normally, is whats weird.

Who would have ever thought that vegan chocolate ice cream was going to be so good. For those of you who are lactose intolerant or we just cant have or choose not to have any dairy products displeased is definitely recommended for its chocolate vegan ice cream. Hope you all enjoy.

Flew from Cali to visit this place because I had been told it was the best ice cream in San Antonio. They are honest about one thing, they are honest about how much they are taking you for your money. Ice cream flavors are generic, and the prices should reflect the quality, not in this case. If you have a craving for ice cream, just go to the local store. I understand the entire hipster and alternative vibe they are going for with their employees, but they should put that energy on better ice cream. Two cows out of four.

Amazing! The only thing that I didnt like was having to choose two flavors, knowing I wouldnt be back anytime soon. The staff was very helpful - and patient - and helped me choose an amazing combination. This will be a regular stop when Im in San Antonio.

Theyve got a ton of great flavors, from dependable chocolates and vanillas done really well to some very interesting ones, like beet and mint or lavender crisp. Too many to choose from. I ended up getting a waffle cone with a scoop of cilantro lime and Lady Bird lavender crisp, both of which were light and refreshing and tasted exactly like the flavors they said they were.

Wanted to try the Fluffernutter but they were all out 😭 So they recommended another summer flavor Back Porch Iced Tea. I tried it, I have a new favorite!!! Definitely recommend if youre a fan of boba milk tea! 🧋

The Mint and Chocolate chunk flavor was exceptional. Mint tasted like fresh mint leaves. Great texture and flavor, also the waffle cone is very good!

The homemade waffle cones are amazing but if Im being honest the ice cream fell short of my expectations. They have unique flavors which I was excited to try i got a few to try and each flavor was very subtle so just be mindful of that. I still think they are a great ice cream place but in my opinion not that amazing

My favorite by far is their chocolate with olive and sea salt. I dont know who decided to add olive oil to ice cream, but it is amazing! The olive oil gives the chocolate a more smooth taste and the sea salt helps with the sweetness of the chocolate. If you are looking for something different, they also sell ice cream sandwiches which Ive heard are pretty good.

I personally didnt like the taste of the ice cream. I tried several of them and all of them were personally nasty to me.Another thing was that they didnt allow to try the taste because we were there for the first time and majority of their flavors are ones Id never seen.

My wife and I usually go to the Pearl on a weekly basis and after dinner we stopped by this place around 10:20 PM. (Friday, 25 June 21).I was on line for several minutes and right before my turn came up a group a people came in and the lady there offered to take their order and I told her right away that I was the next customer in line and not them. She completely ignored me didn’t say anything at all and started working the order given by the group behind me. I was obviously disturbed by the way this situation was being handled so I left for less than a minute to regroup and not to address this situation in a disrespectful way. I went back in and told the lady that her customer service skills left a lot to desire and the very least she could have acknowledged me and rectified herself as I was leaving she was laughing to the very same group of people that came in after me. What a disrespectful way to treat your customers!! Unbelievable!!

This ice cream is on another level! Never have I tasted ice cream that appears to be made within a few days. Caramel Salt Lick & Blueberry crumble will make you have a seat so you can finish it in peace :)

Let me just say WOW! Like seriously! Such lovely, creamy, delicious and light ice cream! The flavors were so original, fresh and not too overpowering. We tried 3 flavors - lemon lavender, loquat margarita, sea salt caramel in a waffle bowl - and loved all of them!Definitely must try and total value for money!

The ice cream is very good, very creamy, and some of the flavors are pretty strange like basil or Rosemary but somehow they make the flavors worth with the ice cream. Service is a bit slow but polite and the staff seem to be knowledgeable.

An exceptional creamery has wonderful standard (always on the menu) as well as daily special flavors that are creative and surprising. If you want to diverge from the standard chocolate, strawberry and vanilla you will have no problems at Luck and you might just find your next favorite thing.

Love this place. Just outside thier side/ back door is a ATM so that you can get some cash. There is other places to eat around it like a Veggie resturant and a Mexican resturant. So you can eat dinner and then go to The Lick for so much also Ice Cream. Best Ice Cream I have tasted in San Antonio, Tx. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a awesome treat. Enjoy.

Evidently they always have 4 vegan-friendly flavors. One was flavored with toasted oat ice cream instead of coconut as a base, which was a nice twist. Carmelita -- special for the season, I think. (Waffle bowl is not vegan.)
