We are absolutely delighted with our experience with CarVIO.My local mechanic recommended a local Salvage yard where we could possibly get an offer for our 2002 Chevy Blazer. I connected with him and he made me a verbal offer. At that time, he was really in the weeds and burdened with too much work.I found CarVIO online and connected with one of their buyers fairly quickly. He made me an offer which was a little lower than my Salvage guys offer. I mentioned that amount to the buyer who was able to sharpen his pencil and match the offer I received from the Salvage guy.We agreed to move forward with CarVIO. I quickly got the title notarized, and scheduled the appointment for pick up.The process with smooth, simple and professional. I even received a complimentary phone call from Jason one of the VPs. Everyone was kind and courteous.The pick up was right on schedule and we received a check $$ for the vehicle exactly as was described to us.Thank you CarVIO! We highly recommend your Company.

I texted only with Louis, ignoring all the weird calls and texts from others saying they were with parent company or were a colleague etc. Lots of sharks out there. Louis of CarVIO was patiently pushy since I told him it was very hard to give up my Techie. I responded to his questions, texted him pics. He gave me an offer. I took time to think considering tradein offers etc. He then upped the offer to nudge me. The total offer was fair—no game playing—I had researched Edmunds valuations and my car wasn’t running at that moment. His offer included free towing.Everything happened exactly as promised. I said yes to offer on a Monday, NICE dispatcher called on Wednesday, pickup date set for following Monday, truck driver called two hours prior so I could meet him at car (40 min away), then again when on his way. Showed up with everything he needed. I signed title. He gave me check for correct amount. EVERYONE I WORKED WITH WAS EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL. I videoed Techie leaving.😢 Newport, Oregon.Deposited check—didn’t bounce. Deal completed within a week! I live in Yachats, Oregon. (Mine is the dark gray Saturn being loaded onto trailer.)

Although I havent gotten my transaction through them yet, I loved the way they treated me, I had questions and concerns about what was happening, they didnt give me the run around, just straight to the point and amazing customer service, I dont remember who I worked with but he was absolutely amazing and helpful and stayed consistent with me, Ive never felt so free with a company, theyre amazing and even if you get an offer lower than you were expecting, it happens, Paperwork is black and white, yeah I only got offered a fair amount but it was 100% fair in all honesty. This company is very unprofessional I will never do business with them again nor do I be recommend them to anyone. I was told the towing company would be contacting me with a phone CALL at the beginning of the week by 07/27/2021. Well 07/30/2021 I received a TEXT message asking if they could schedule a pick up.To add to the matter, I had tried to contact the representative from the company that was helping me. Name: Jacob Hanna. I have yet to hear back from him.Their customer service did get a hold of me on 07/30/2021 and was supposed to contact me to follow up and to this day 09/08/2021 they have yet to get back in touch with me.To end off this company did not help me and never picked up the vehicle because there was no communication. I ended up selling the vehicle for more than they offered me because it was worth more so they ended up low balling me.I will never do business with this company again and I suggest anyone who reads this steer clear of them.

The real deal! The best offer I had for my 1994 dodge was $137, one guy said $72. I drove it to work every day, I knew I could get more. Cavio gave me $1,000 for the running V10 in it! Check cleared last week, no joke!I do not know that, I just have the stock number.I take that back, Insurance Auto Auctions is who wrote the check.

I’ve been trying to contact SOMEONE all day regarding my truck being picked up. We sold two vehicles to Ryan. I called today about the truck, after the car was picked up, and it hasn’t been released for scheduled pickup and payment. NOBODY answers calls or emails. Until the second deal is done, one star. Not happy at all a the moment!!

I was skeptical never having heard of these guys until recently. Transmission was on the way out(slipping) on my 1998 Ram 2500 that I use to plow my drive. Figured I didnt have much to loose and contacted them Monday evening. Frank called me and walked me through the process(easy peasy) and got me a quote for more than I thought it was worth in minutes. Their buying partner called first thing the next morning to confirm availability. I am looking to sell a car and thought I would see what the online car companies offer. A competing online car company (with a much more user friendly interface) offered me over $9,000 for my car. So I wanted to see what CarVio would offer. I provided same information as I did the the competitor but CarVios offer was $700. Yes, 7.8% of the competing offer. Wow....take your chances but be sure to shop around including the vending machine company.

I was looking to get rid of my old truck. Still running, but would take too much $ to get her through inspection. Just for the hell of it, I contacted them. They got right Back to me with a reasonable price. I contacted them on Saturday, I had a check in my hand on Tuesday. I dealt with William Campbell. Very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend.

This review pertains to a non-running vehicle:Last night I left work early to wait at home for a four hour period for my car to be picked up. I was originally asked to be there 8a-5p but I asked if it could be narrowed down, as this call took place on Saturday and I would have to then call out from work with no notice. No one showed up, no one called, no one emailed.This was after a week and a half of playing phone tag because I would be called while I was driving or in a lesson. When I called back I would hear a message saying to expect a 60 second wait time, and five minutes later Id give up and leave a message.Now they have a copy of my drivers license and car title, I still have a car sitting in my drive way.Unfortunately I only looked at the reviews on Facebook beforehand, not the ones here.I recommend not using this service if you have a non-running vehicle.

Now that the check has cleared I think it’s safe to share our experience. We contacted Carvio and was given an offer. We agreed, signed the contract and waited for a pickup date. We were told to take everything out of the car, remove the plates and sign the title when the driver arrives with the check. We were called and given a pickup date. We received a phone call from CarVio, a female, and she stated that she has a memo stating that a pickup date was scheduled, I said yes and she asked when the date and time was. I said that you just stated that you had a memo and told her to tell me that date. She said I don’t have it because all she has is a memo stating that a date has been scheduled but it doesn’t have any date or time and they are waiting for that information to be sent. I said you’re going to have to wait then. She said ok and hung up. First flag. A couple days later she calls again and states that they have a pickup date and confirms the date. She tells me to take the plates off the car, leave the drivers door unlocked and place the keys under the floor mat because I don’t have to be there when they pickup the vehicle. I asked her “well how am I supposed to sign over the title and get the check if I’m not present.” Silence for a moment, no response. I then ask if the driver is going to have the check. She responds and tells me that it will be up to the driver. Second flag. The driver arrives on pickup date. I have the title and tell the driver before he hooks up to the vehicle I want to complete the paperwork. He looks at the title and says all is in place and I tell him to give me the check. He says that there is no check. I get the title back and ask why there is no check. He says that his invoice states no money involved because this is an insurance claim pickup. He shows me the invoice and it states $0. I tell him that I won’t release the vehicle without the money we agreed to. He calls his boss, he asks me how much I am supposed to get, I show him the contact with CarVio and the amount. He and the boss talk and informs me that they will pay the amount and he will write me a check on a company account. Check has cleared so all is well. So I dont know what happened. I don’t know if CarVio paid the towing company that they subcontracted with or if they had to eat the cost that they paid me. Is CarVio legit? I think they are and that everyone made some money on this deal. I guess I will never know the outcome.

Got what I think is a fair price for my old Lincoln. Might have got a little more at a scrap yard but I would have had to get it there, so it was worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised with how fast they contacted me. They gave me a very fair offer. Even though another company offered me the same amount they weren’t as fast in contacting me. Transaction went very smoothly. I couldn’t ask for more. Would do business with again in the future without hesitation.

I contacted cardio, and got an immediate text, were going to call you. I got two calls with no voice mail left, and when I called the number: busy signal. And then my phone blows up with a scam insurance company calling it, over and over again, all using (317) numbers just like the number I just called back that left no voice mail. So here I am still needing to sell a car. I contacted them again. I usually wait until the end of the day to contact people I havent been ae to get ahold of. 1. Leave a voicemail when you call. I contacted them again. Im told my Vin number is wrong. Maybe it is, those are long with small print. 2 offers 250.00 and were not going to talk about that one, and from the other partner 400.00. really nope. Hard pass. Its an electrical short that can be repaired, not a totalled car. I dont think those big numbers they advertise as being paid for cars actually exist. Take down the ads that say well pay you up to four thousand for your vehicle. No you wont. And I just wanted 750.00.

This company was highest offer. I said excepted. . I had to send my documents a couple times I finally got nervouse after they asked me to send it again. Then they told me my title was not legal. So I went to DMV got documents they wanted. Then they told me they needed more. Then they did not show up when they told me they would.

A deal was made and they was supposed to have picked up the car they was going to buy. And never showed up when they said they was going to. Instead they called and tried to give a low-ball offer after they had already agreed to pay for the car. I feel like this is a scam and communications on their end not very good and will not pick up their phones. Please sell your cars to a better company than this one. And dont waste your time

Well I had another site from junk my car.com already scheduled to p/up for 800$. 4 times what scrap would bring. Well gotta quote from CARVIO while I waited on wrecker to come get at my house, and they offered a 1,000$ more, wout hesitation! I got online and canceled the other offer, and 3 days later check in bank, truck picked up in my driveway. Dont ever scrap your wrecked truck again.

I received a call from another person that said they couldnt approve this offer that high.. Sold my 2009 Volvo through them. Definitely not a fast process, but well worth it. Offered the low amount of the KBB value, but 3x more than trade-in offer. I know dealers screw you on the trade-in cost but still.After filling out the application, you get a call within the next day or so. They take some basic info down and send you a follow-up form with more specific car info. You then get connected with a car auction company nearby and they call and coordinate a pickup with a towing service. You schedule a pickup time and window then the towing company comes hands you a bankers check, takes some photos of the car, then tows it away. The check I had cleared next business day! (Most likely complaints regarding pickup issues are due to the middleman of the auction company and towing coordination)TLDR: Long process, but worth it if you want more than a trade in offer.

I’m selling my 2000 Mercedes and contacted Carvio for a price. A guy named William Campbell quoted me $300. I told him to forget it. He text me back saying “ Take that POS to the scrap yard”. I would never do business with these people and I’ll tell everyone I know to stay clear. Total unprofessional and rude.

Deal was made for my Ford and pick up scheduled for 5 days later with a 5 hour window. I called on the pick up day to get a better idea of time (I am 30 mins away from the vehicle) and, just like the others who have posted here, they needed to cancel and reschedule. Seem standard procedure for them. I will take $75 less from another company.

I would never do business with this company again. I read the previous reviews about how flexible and convenient they were. That is all foolishness. They are not flexible nor are they reliable. I attempted to schedule a pickup of a vehicle on several different occasions and each time they tell me on the day of pick-up that there is nothing scheduled. Save yourself a headache and take your business elsewhere!

A miserable experience. I would never recommend to anyone. They scheduled several different appointments and failed to show up when we needed our car gone in a timely manner. Ended up costing us more money and time than we ever bargained for. They never answer their phone, the communication between them and the dispatch was awful. It got to the point where I literally would have rather given up my car for free. By far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Would give zero stars if I could.

They were quick to respond with a price quote but the call to schedule the pick up never came. I messaged will campbell about pick up and he gave me the phone number to call and do it myself, ha! So I did and was told today I would get a call to confirm pickup for monday well with no surprise that call never came either. Im not holding my breathe that this will actually happen and my car will be picked up. I decided to check reviews tonight and low and behold other people with the same issues. 5 reviews total and 2 of those are from employees giving their company 5 stars, the rest are 1 star. Now technically my pick up is for 9/21 and if it happens I will gladly come back and change my review.

Carvio bought my car but told me not to fill out the title until they came to pic it up. When the driver came he said I did not even have to sign title. Like a dummy I did as he said. That was 11/3/20. Now 12/23/20 I got a call that I did not sign and once I signed it could be months or longer for car to auction off meaning I would still be responsible for taxes. Fortunately the notary sent me a proof of sale sincecarvio only gave a stubless check. So make sure usign and get receipt if u use carvio.Daniel

My husband and I had a written contract (text and email) with carvio to pick up our car. Our car was in another state and they said that we must be there in person. We drove 500 miles to be there and when we arrived they told us that they couldnt make it to our appointment time. They told us that we could have the car picked up 3 days later and that we didnt have to be there in person, but could mail our keys and car title. The car had broken down on the side of the road and I had called the local police dispatch to make sure it wouldnt be towed. They said the car could stay there until Friday, the original day of our confirmed appointment. Since it hadnt gotten picked up by the date of our appointment, we were forced to tow the car to another location, costing us $200 out of pocket. This is 100% the fault of carvio, simply because they didnt honor their original contract or appointment. We drove for 9 hours, were on the phone with customer service for countless more, and were not able to get a satisfactory arrangement. They refused to reimburse us the cost of the tow (even though they were completely at fault) and are scheduling a car pickup for almost a week after they had originally agreed. There were also issues scheduling the tow because the company didnt have the keys or title, even though they assured us it wouldnt be an issue. I literally spent 4 hours or more with them on the phone trying to come to an arrangement. The customer service people were rude, incompetent, and were unable to give us any real answers. Because of Carvio, we are out $200. We would have rather given the car away for free rather than sell it to a company that disregards their written and verbal contracts in this manner. I would give this company zero stars if I could, and would never recommend them to another person. Trust the 2.5 stars on Google and NEVER SELL TO THEM.

I was told they would be here from 8am-12pm. Its now nearly 9pm and theyre a no call/ no show.

Carvio said they would purchase my Chevy uplander as is for 400 dollars. I contacted them three times telling them that it had to be picked up by 1130 so I would get on the greyhound bus.. I called them three times to ask when the driver was going to be there and they didn’t give me a straight answer until the last one who told me it wouldn’t be picked up till the next day..... I wasted 25 dollars on a greyhound bus ticket because of their lack of communication..... the auto brokers out of Phoenix they worked with sound like the on drugs part of the time.

The people who called me were very aggressive, and rude. She was not polite whatsoever. I would rather give the car away for free than to ever use this service again if this is how they treat people.

I arranged to have the car picked up today, got a call yesterday to set up a time today. After confirming 2 times that it was scheduled for today the tow truck never picked it up, and did not get a call either.

They don’t care anything about the car even if it’s in good shape they just want you catalytic converter but if you don’t have one they will only offer you between $50 and $200 and they are not worth calling
