First of all, Petra Stones showroom and inventory is absolutely amazing! They have every type of stone you can imagine and their selection is top quality. Additionally, you can not find nicer people to work with. Marcelo and his wife and their team are so helpful and provide the best customer service. After searching just about every slab yard in San Diego we ended up at Petra Stone and found exactly what we were looking for. The first set of slabs ended up having some imperfections so Marcelo worked with his supplier in Italy and sent me photos of several back up options and once they came in he held them for me come back and select the final set. Due to COVID, the shipment was held up in customs longer than expected and Marcelo consistently kept me up updated on their status. Once we made our final selection, he also held them for me for almost months as our project was hit with many other delays. I highly recommend Petra Stone and they will be my first and only stop for my next project.

Petra Stone is absolutely a top notch, high quality business with a personal family owned feel! Marcelo and his lovely wife Livia walked us through their HUGE warehouse of every type of stone you can imagine! They knew each slab as if it was their child, it was actually quite impressive and cute at the same time. They were so patient with me and my designer as we asked to see multiple slabs in different lights.Their showroom is beyond beautiful! I would rent it out for a party if I could! Wow! What a beautiful warehouse to visit! Marcelo patiently walked us through the showroom, took detailed notes about what we were looking for and gave good recommendations on what would work for our busy family home. I love that it was indoors and not a hot parking lot full of slabs.Everyone should be able to find what they are looking for because they have everything, for every budget! This family owned business is just lovely!

We are in the process of renovating our home and were referred to Petra stone for our needs for stone throughout our house. Upon arriving we were greeted with Marcelo and his wife Livia. The showroom is literally a work of art like you are entering a museum in Italy. My husband and I went to a Petra Stone in Aug of 2020. I am well versed in Stones since my father was a general contractor. My first thoughts of the show room, were that I have never seen this beautiful of stone. I immediately knew it was something special. Livia met us there, went went through the showroom and she helped us decide which of the beautiful slabs we wanted. She was so incredibly helpful, great customer service!! We went home and decided which stone. Livia and Marcelo were amazing and held my slabs there until I found the perfect fabricator/ installer. Not only did they show me the most beautiful slabs of quartz but they worked with our price and I got my dream kitchen!! It’s gorgeous. I am going to be a customer for life. I worked at Encinitas tile and stone for awhile and never saw slabs this beautiful. Amazing!!!

Honestly I have been to other businesses to pick out stone but this place is another level! It’s a complete wow factor! The showroom alone is so stunning! In a place that looks this high end, you’d probably expect snobby service, but Livia & Marcello are the most down to earth, kind, knowledgeable and genuine people. There is no pressuring. They obviously are passionate about what they do. The selection of slabs are unbelievable and the quality of stones was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The great part is that they had stones in all price ranges so I had a lot more choices in my budget than I ever imagined I would. Cannot wait to go back! Makes you want to redo your whole house! Haha!

After looking for slabs at all the usual places in San Diego for my kitchen remodel, I went to PetraStone based on an advertisement in San Diego Home andGarden mag. I couldn’t believe the high quality, diverse types of slabs and the stock. The owners are absolutely wonderful to work with and helped me select two gorgeous Chrystal slabs for my kitchen.
