Really cool place for kids to run around and get some ice cream. Love that they have play areas inside. Not too busy any time I’ve been so it’s been great to have the place to ourselves :)

We scheduled an ice cream party for my daughters 5th birthday with the expectation that covid would be gone by the time August rolled around. We were wrong in that assumption, so a week prior to the scheduled party, I began contacting the numbers provided by the confirmation email as well as what was on their website trying to get some information on if they were even open and what we were supposed to do. Are you open? Are these being rescheduled? I called every day for the full week, emailed, instagram messaged, Facebook messaged. No response. Never answered a phone call. Nothing...The day off the scheduled party, we showed up, hoping theyd be open, after all, we did put down a $50 deposit. They were open as per the state order, no entrance to the establishment, but taking orders at the door. I told the girls working there, who were very nice, what was going on and they were surprised that we were never contacted, as all parties had been cancelled due to the coronavirus. They attempted to contact the owner for an hour to see about a refund of our $50 deposit, same number I was calling for a week, and nothing. They told me that shed contact me by the end of the day to straighten things out. Well, its September 12 now, more than a month later and still nothing. Ive come to terms that my money is gone and that I will never hear from the owner.Needless to say, I would never recommend this place to anybody. Ice cream is decent at best, but the ownership has zero customer service while running a customer service establishment. Not good folks as far as Im concerned that shouldnt be rewarded with your business.

What a great little place for some ice cream. They do not have the biggest selection of hard ice cream but they also have a selection of soft serve yogurt to compensate. The prices are really good for the area, and for $0.50 you can have all of the toppings you want from the toppings bar (there are a lot including hot fudge and caramel). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor is great and is perfect for families with small children. This will be a go to place when I am back in San Diego the next time.

Ice cream was ok. I tried a few flavors and it wasnt even frozen yet. Ran out of hot fudge and was told 15 minute wait for more. Price was very reasonable and what we did have we did enjoy. Floors were sticky and good use a good cleaning.

Wandered over to Besties from the Public Market with my girlfriend and 6 year old for a treat. Meh, pretty disappointing overall. The decor was spot on, with a cute retro theme that was clearly thought out and well executed. And thats where the upsides end. The floors were dirty, despite a bored employee sitting behind the register doing nothing.The ice cream was... um... really not good. My chocolate scoop on a sugar cone was grainy and tasted like it had been thawed and re-frozen several times. Not good at all. The frozen yogurt bar is just that... nothing special, with all the toppings youd expect.I wanted to like the place, given the cute decor... but I cant see any reason Id return. 2.5 stars, rounded down because it was expensive.

Expensive for what it is. I paid ~$50 for 5 cups. The toppings were poorly filled. The floors were sticky. There are plenty of these type of shops that I pay a fraction of the price for a better product.That being said, the ice cream was decent.

The fruit looked like it had been sitting around awhile and the what I think was chocolate coating on some of the apple slices looked like it either melted or just fell off. The few strawberries and orange slices were obviously old looking and wrinkled and not appetizing. Even the melon slices were soft and droopy. I felt bad because I received this as a birthday gift from my son and family. I thanked them then after they left I threw it away. What a waste.

This place is great!! Very cute with great frozen yogurt among other things. Definitely our go to when we are in San Diego.

Fun place to bring kids, the frozen yogurt selection is unique, fun and delicious. I got Horchata, and Vietnamese coffee...mmm... Daughter played in the kids section, a miniature camping trailer with a doll house inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
