We cant write enough praise for Novas postpartum doula service when our little daughter was born in Jan 2021. She visited our home prior to the birth and reviewed our setup and answered all our questions with great care and passion. She provided helpful tips to my wife on handling the birth process as well as the hospital setting. We were blown away by Novas knowledge, skills, professionalism and flexibility. Being first time parents we had no idea how to deal with moms recovery and newborns ways. Nova made it seem so easy. Not only does she have a vast experience in different aspects of childbirth, postpartum and lactation, she is very respectful of different cultures - having worked with diverse families over the years. We found her to be very courteous and always looking for opportunities to help us in whichever way she can. She bonded with my wife instantly and was really great with the little one. She looked after our newborn when I took my wife for the post delivery OB-GYN visits. We felt absolute peace of mind leaving our daughter at the able hands of Nova. Would highly recommend her to anybody looking for great professional care with humane touch !!

Nova is just absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend her to any mother-to-be who is looking into placenta encapsulation! If youve done your research, you will find that Nova is actually one of like 3 people in SD who are certified. She also uses disposable blender parts which was something that I had not even thought about initially. She is very professional and knowledgable. Nova came to the hospital for pick up and returned my captures within 24 hours. She also brought my husband and I breakfast which was just so sweet. I also got a tincture made which never expires. I definitely suggest spending the extra $$$ for the tincture to have on hand after your pills are gone. Also, my absolute favorite thing was the video tour that she took of my placenta. It was just so neat to watch after the fact as in the moment in the hospital I was so wrapped up in the birth of my daughter that I did not have a chance to take a full on look at it. Thank you Nova! Nova attended all three of my births. Gosh I cant even write this without crying. I cannot/do not want to imagine my births without her presence. Whenever I was in doubt, she always knew how to pick me up. I had safe, wonderful births and I KNOW, for sure, it would not have been that way without her. Im so happy to know her, I feel so lucky. As for encapsulation, I didnt really know what to expect but was so impressed with how fast I got my pills and tincture and with how much care and love she put into it all. I cannot say enough good things about Womb Service.

I found Novas Womb Service from Google in San Diego for placenta encapsulation. We gave a call to Nova and immediately felt that she is professional, courteous, and believes in her product and services. She came to pick-up the placenta to the hospital and gave us the encapsulated placenta pill next day. I was extremely pleased with the product and my wife felt more energetic after taking the pill. Ceniza is absolutely the best decision you can make for your birth experience! I give her credit for helping me to avoid pitocin! She was a valuable resource and a wealth of knowledge from the first time we met. Being a healthcare provider myself this was very important and we instantly knew we had found our doula but decided to interview a few others to do our due diligence. She definitely stood apart from the rest with her kind way and angelic voice coupled with all the information she gave us.Then we had our two prenatal visits more info and planning to lead up to the big day.....Fast forward to 1: 30 AM when my water broke and I called her. She asked me if I wanted her to meet us at home or the hospital. I wasnt in any pain so we agreed to meet at the hospital. I truly believe that it was because of her that I was able to avoid pitocin when my labor wasnt progressing. She helped me get into positions that would help my baby girl drop down. And then the major contractions began and she guided me through positions to help me endure all the pain. I dont believe any nurse could do that! She was there for the whole birth and just made the whole experience so much better. Labor is never enjoyable but she made it endurable. As a first time mom I figured I would hire a doula for this first labor but I now know that without a doubt I would hire her for any subsequent births. Everything you learned in class goes out the window when labor starts and having a knowledgable, calm, and encouraging, person like Ceniza there even if its just to remind you how to breathe is a game changer. Thanks for everything Ceniza!!!

From the moment I met Nova I knew she was an amazing soul. I am a birth doula and recently had the honor of being able to work with Nova as she was photographing the birth AND was encapsulating this mommas placenta. She has the ability to walk into a room and instantly make everyone feel an added sense of peace. She goes above and beyond for her mommas and everyone is always more than happy with their experience with her. When I had to step aside for a brief moment she stepped in and massaged this momma, to help hold the peaceful space mom was in...while taking photos you couldnt even tell she was there, she is able to respect this life changing time while still capturing the moments everyone hopes are caught when hiring a birth photographer.
