If I could give 0 stars I wouldHorrible company so far. I have been trying to call for weeks. I am waiting on a device that of course is very time sensitive. They said would be delivered within the week. I haven’t received any calls or follow ups. Tried calling. Spent 25 plus minutes listening to the hold music. Only to be disconnected. Then spent another 17 minutes, finally got through to someone. They took my name and birthdate, and got disconnected once again. Unfortunately this has now happened more than once in a span of 3 weeks.Don’t worry I checked with my carrier, it’s not cellular service. It’s this company. Absolutely frustrated. Will be contacting my insurance and issuing lots of complaints.If you have an option to go elsewhere, run!

The worst experience ever! They put me on the wrong plan. Their website never worked for my account so I had to call in (wait on hold etc) every time I wanted to pay my bill. They charged me for ‘deductibles’ but my insurance covered 100% and they could never explain why. The products worked fine but overall a frustrating, terrible experience and I don’t recommend them

Terrible. It’s been almost three weeks, trying to get a simple breast pump and communication has been exhausting calling and checking in between my doctors office and Apria. My doctors office confirmed everything and still can’t get a hold of Apria. I’ve had the phone drop on me a number of times while On hold.

The worst customer service I have had. I had to make initial contact after 2 weeks then no further contact for almost 3 weeks when I had to call to follow up. I call and get told well theres a backlog so you just need to wait. Didnt even bother to look up my information until I got pushy then the left me on hold for a long time and then disconnected me. Use a different company if you can not worth the attitude of their staff. I have informed my insurance company they need to find another source.

Ordered and paid the copay for an item yesterday morning. Delivery was promised the same day. None delivered. Followed up by phone this AM: took about 7-8 buttons, two people, one transfer from person to person, total of 13 min on Saturday AM. Reps. were polite. My item showed “NOT DELIVERED”. Why it wasn’t delivered the rep did not know. She said she would “send it to dispatch again”. I will follow through on this one and will write another review when(if) my item is delivered. I will also finish reading all reviews and will CONTACT KAISER to start investigation into all the irregularities and customer abuse that is apparent from the first 10 reviews.

Im reviewing for my mother, after issues with shipping / being sent to the wrong house / said-wrong house opening her package ... she gets a call back that they would replace her CPAP. We go to the office, the receptionist is nice. The respiratory therapist who would replace her CPAP takes us to a different office room, and it was the most awkward, uncomfortable experience, and I wasnt even the customer.While he was really helpful about explaining the technology, he didnt seem to care why we were there, but my mother and I were just happy that she was getting a replacement. Im only making a review because the replacement is bad. With closer inspection, it is scuffed and definitely used. The printed power button sign is fading away. If I was her, I wouldnt go through the trouble of getting another CPAP replacement.

This company DOES NOT LISTEN. They have been sending boxes of supplies when weve asked them to stop. We have several boxes of medical equipment that we do not need and the company wont take back. They also have been delivering to our old address which weve updated with Apria multiple times.

Poor company.Over the years I have dealt with Apria health Poor customer service and it seems like it never changes. They screw up most of their orders and you always see the ridiculous owner response in the reviews. They dont care because they usually have you locked in and theres limited competition. I can hardly wait for the owners response.THEY SUCK!

Worse customer service, arrogant as well, they”take your order” give you a delivery date and when you call to find out why it wasn’t delivered, they don’t even find the order, then take it again and the same thing happens. Even when it’s oxygen that you’re ordering, “they don’t have drivers to deliver on weekends”. They tell you to call couple of days ahead but never let you know that they do deliver on weekends so if you call Friday morning, you better have enough tanks to get you through at least Tuesday because they deliver as late as 9:00 pm. If you ask to speak to a supervisor, no one answers and they hang up on you. How can these people stay in business?I hope that the big insurance companies/organizations with whom the have contracts, listen to their patients and not renew their contracts.

Got email about outstanding bill. Couldn’t get through online with acct #, password, etc called and wanted to request a mailed bill. Told 9 minute wait. About 20-15 later I got ringing sound but no one answered and phone went dead. Called San Diego Apria. Told 10 minute wait. Accepted Phone Offer to push 1 to get balance and pay on the phone. Voice said “zero” balance and asked for amount I wanted to pay. I pushed ‘0’ and told that it was incorrect.Complicated system for me...too many ‘hoops’ to go through to pay bill that seems to be non-existent. TERRIBLE!!!

March 15, 2021 at 1330. Delivery driver parked and unloaded his equipment by the fire hydrant. Also, blocked my driveway with all the equipments, which I couldnt get in to my garage/property. I signal the driver to let him know my intent, but he gave me a bad reaction/gesture. He continued organizing the medical equipments in the truck, and didnt consider to move his equipments to the side of my driveway. I had to wait 15 minutes before moving the equipments away. Blocking a driveway is trespassing, and stop or park by the fire hydrant is illegal. I gave a star because the operator and supervisor listened to my complaints. I almost called the police but Im not that inconsiderate. I hope the management would educate their employees when it comes to law and regulations.

Went to this local branch to drop off some equipment provided by Kaiser per the instructions provided. Once I got there, there was a sign to stay in your car and call their phone number. After about 15 minutes on hold, a customer service rep told me that I could not drop off the equipment there and that I needed a doctors order stating that I was done using the equipment. My doctor told me over the phone to take the equipment back if I no longer needed it.The only alternative offered was to sign a medical refusal form but according to the rep I would be charged for the equipment rental if I signed the form.Super inconvenient as I drove 25 miles one way to drop off the equipment and wasted over an hour of my time. Im pretty sure they just want to keep billing Kaiser for as long as they possibly can. After reading reviews on here I see this company has very poor reviews, now I know why. Now to figure out what to do and waste more time on the phone. Thanks for nothing.

If I could, I would give them zero stars. This is the most inefficient business ever. Ive had numerous problems with them. 1) They delivered 2 items instead of one 2) They say they made a delivery and they didnt and it take 5 phone calls to get to the truth 3) A strange man just called me and stated that he mailed my moms bill and he was EATING ON THE PHONE while I explained that he had the wrong address and that ALSO my mom had not received her wheelchair!!!! I could go on and on.

Worst customer service ever! They all sound like they are bitter and not very helpful. Ive called numerous times and each time they answer there is no greeting whatsoever. When I tell them the reason for my call they say ok and? Apria needs to invest in customer service skills for their workforce. The first time I called I thought it was just that one person; but its happened each time I call with all of their staff. I wish Kaiser would hire another company to outsource this service. If I could give them half a star, I would.

Terrible service picking up items. Didn’t show the day they were supposed to. Came the next day, driver was rude when my husband attempted to help him. Then received a letter that not all equipment was returned when it was ALL returned. Waisted 20 minutes on the phone having to talk to 2 different people about the issue.

They have gambled with the wellbeing of my health, I paid for a CPAP that does not work nor has been replaced, I suffered endless nights through my pregnancy, now that my baby is here Apria Healthcare refuses to acknowledge my Lactation Order which was urgent! do to a condition my daughter has that was placed and expected to arrive on the 26th of December it is now Monday the 28th 4 pm and still the urgent message has been ignored. The entire Apria staff should be punished and investigated, this business does not add up. Who will jump in and help the people?

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. My mother has been calling a countless amount of times for an inquiry on when her equipment will get delivered for about 4 months now, still nothing. Today was the breaking point-the representative was so INCREDIBLY RUDE that when I called her out on it, she hung up. I called back again and got connected to two other representatives, which also hung up or their line got disconnected?? So, if they wont even respond through the phone, how else are we supposed to find a solution?...Unbelievable.This is NOT the way to run a major healthcare company. RIDICULOUS.

One mistake after another. My Doctors office called them multiple times. Still nothing. They should be shut down for incompetence. Van pulls up at 11:28pm. I open the front door and the delivery person yells at and quoting: go back in the house and shut the door! I heard him leaving oxygen and a machine. The person this is for is not home from the hospital yet. So I guess it is your policy to have this carried into the house along with a machine with no help.

I was very reluctant to order my CPAP supplies from the office based on the reviews but tried it anyway. I have received excellent service and everything was shipped and received in a timely manner. The staff was very helpful and let me know I can return items that dont work within 31 days. This was warranted because I couldnt remember what size the face mask was on my unit. Needless to say, i ordered the wrong size and they replaced it within a day of my request.I recommend using their service.

Apria has no call/no showed two appointments for pick up of equipment. This is emotionally distressing for reasons I won’t go into here. When you call, you get a call center that can’t even reach the local branch to resolve the issue. There doesn’t appear to be any accountability for poor customer service. This is what happens when large companies like this receive capitation contracts (Google it) with healthcare systems. The patient loses all leverage. We should all demand better.

Wish I could give negative stars. Its beyond comical how bad they are* I ordered supplies. They shipped to an address over 20 years old.* Called and they said they would reship it. They did not.* Called again. They said said they would re-ship it. Yay got it.* Next shipment. Called and placed the order.* Called to check on the status. The payment was declined due what called a system issue. Said it would go through.* Called again. They said payment was declined. I asked them to verify the billing address (since I know they have address issues). Billing address was an address over 20 years old. Corrected the address.* Called again. Someone on their side cancelled the order.Seriously? They are a healthcare company and cant even track an order. Ive lost over 40 hours total being in hold with this company and only received a single shipment in 9 months. Gave up, Im ordering from someone else.

If I could give these people a triple ZERO rating, I would do that. They delivered medical equipment to my house that I never ordered, Id received from another vendor the week before, I refused it, they billed my insurance company anyway, the claim was denied because the insurance company had already paid for the other one, and NOW they have me in their collections department. Ive been on the phone with them for over an hour, been transferred 3 times, disconnected twice, incredibly HORRIBLE company, customer service, procedures, communication, EVERYTHING!!!!!! I cannot say how bad their customer service is!!!

I really cannot even put into words how I feel about this company. They are so terrible. They do not show any interest in the people they serve. All they care about is picking up their equipment. My insurance extended my rental equipment and a week after the extension was placed I am still receiving harassment calls from Apria requesting the rental equipment be returned. Their customer service is the worst. I dont think anyone is trained to work with people. They probably dont even care that they have this reputation online.

I told health net insurance please dont sent anyone toApria . Really really bad service. Needed a new oxygen prob for pulse ox. Connected with someone in the Philippines. This after I called the LOCAL number. They are unable to contact the local office only 3 miles from my house. Will be driving over myself. You have to remember, the patient is NOT the customer for these companies. They only answer to insurance companies that pay their bills.

I have had occasion to purchase CPAP supplies from Apria on several occasions. There has not been even one purchase that has not been a problem in terms of billing. Apria seems to have a difficult time locating insurance companies and therefore doesnt follow through on billing, but immediately charges my credit card for the product. On the most recent occasion upon receiving an unwarranted bill, I was told by Apria that I had to give them the address of the insurance company, call the doctor who had ordered the supplies and tell the doctor to call Apria, and then call the insurance company myself to tell them to contact the doctors office for further information. I was told to keep calling the insurance company to determine if payment was sent to Apria, and then I had to call Apria to initiate a refund after insurance had paid the bill. Apparently, if I forget to call, Apria gets paid twice. And, apparently, Apria has no process for billing insurance themselves. This entire process took three months. I am a capable senior woman who is caring for my disabled husband. I can only imagine what might be happening to disabled people who do not have the level of help to do Aprias job for them.

Along with talking to them over the phone at least 6 times. Their right hand does not know what their left hand is doing. Ed the technician from Apria San Diego was a fantastic person, but told me he had to call his Supervisor to send out another tech to replace the portable oxygen concentrator, which I asked about also.I called the Apria concentrator check scheduling department this morning and she said I should have called them to set up a work order, nothing was scheduled for today. I guess when a Supervisor lies about sending a tech out and then I find out nothing was scheduled, Apria should retire that Supervisor. Ive read a lot of bad reviews, not good for this company. Update: 12/22/18 I called Apria yesterday for a new battery for the portable oxygen machine and they sent ac power supply. Fedex delivered at 9pm last night. I was happy for the quick delivery, but they sent us the wrong equipment. Im trying to contact Apria but have been waiting on hold for 10 minutes. Im going to buy a portable oxygen machine so I dont have to deal with Apria anymore.

I dont know how this place stays in business. This is absolutely the worst business I have ever had to deal with. Dont bother trying to call customer Service. There is none! Unfortunately my HMO uses them and I dont have a choice. I use a concentrator for breathing problems. Just wanted to get some more tubing for it. Was on interminable hold. After 20 minutes or so of listening to their stupid and repetitive recorded messages about how great they were and how valued their customers are, a live person came on who couldnt help me but gave me another number to call. Repeat of before. That person guaranteed she would not put me on hold. Wrong. Repeat. I finally got through to a sweetheart named Angela by calling a number intended for medical professionals. She was about to give me another number to call but took pity on me when I vented my complete and utter frustration. She placed the order for me and was so kind. Would give no stars if I could, this company is terrible. We have set up recurring payments on their website twice, some months they will not process the payment instead call us repeatedly then place is on a long hold just to confirm we already have a payment set up. Has sent my husband to collections twice for $5 (I have no idea why). Weve been dealing with them two years now and its an absolute nightmare. We waited months for a replacement part we desperately needed only for them to give us a different excuse everytime we called to see where it was. This company is terrible at what they do, their customer service sucks, and they do not care about the well-being of the consumer.

This company just has no clue on how to do business! This is the second time. No communication within the company what so ever! They hire dispatchers that refuse to do anything but give you a later time, each time you call. No supervisor to speak with and if you are really lucky?? A supervisor may call you much later. No call back as of yet. You have a responsibility by contract in which you are getting paid, and you cannot send anyone out on an agreed date! Now this is just for a motorized bed. If zero stars was an option, I would choose it. Words cant properly describe how poor the customer service is at Apria Healthcare and the frustration they caused for a simple order. I have literally called 10 times to an overseas call center and have been unable to get delivery of much needed medical equipment. You would think our HealthNet PPO plan would provide the medical care needed in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, Apria is the only option.

When I finally reached customer service, they said it would take at least another week for delivery. If I had known, I would have gone with another company. Terrible service. I have to say that Apria is not the same company it was 12 years ago when I first started using a wheelchair. The deterioration in customer service is pronounced. They got my doctors order 10 days ago I called to make arrangement for delivery a week ago and after a few calls later and still no chair They are terrible at customer service an I will not rate them other than zero.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No matter what phone number you call, you are routed to off shore call centers staffed with personnel that dont understand or speak basic English, have any knowledge of the product or even no how to transfer a call within there own system. They are oblivious to customer questions and have no concept that they are talking to patients with medical needs. They ask you to identify yourself with the same information over and over again, are unable to help and then say they will have someone call you back in 48 hours which never happens. They dropped off supplies yesterday. Today I opened a package with breathing hose. The holes for nostrils are the wrong size, too large, too far apart and do not fit my nostrils so I can not use the hose. I tried to call Apria this morning to order the right size but they are closed and also are not accepting messages or connecting to automator or after hours help. This is just another of many problems with the company.

Lack of communications. No sense of service. All the one star on here says it all. No sense of keeping to time either. If they say theyre going to deliver something, make sure youre home all day, prepared to wait, because theyre probably not going to get there late at night, or sometime the next day. Oh, not to mention for equipment pick up: Our family have had to pay for something that we have not been using for a month now.

Oh to be able to give zero stars to say I absolutely hate this company. Been client for several years - no other options for in-network provider for my insurance. Prefer Sleep Data of San Diego who treat you like family. Good family, that is. These people - called me with automated call to advise me my cpap supplies were due for refill. I responded with the yes. Then their asinine machine said i was NOT eligible for refill. WTF???? Am I or am i not? So I called them. Gave them security ID info, they said, let me patch you through to right department. They have billed my insurance 2 times for the same unit and then never follow-up with request for details on the billing they did submit. So now my insurance has closed the claim. I am now waiting to see if they try to bill me??? I have called and gotten no where with them or left messages for them to call me back. No reply?? I cant rate this company anything less than 1 star, so one star it is.The call center is a complete joke. The staff are rude and impatient. I have had to continually call for updates and information about the equipment I should have had over 2 weeks ago.They received the insurance and medical authorization over 2 weeks ago, they informed me that they would call me when the medical equipment was ready for pick up. I kept following up with them... it wasnt until the 4th time calling them did they tell me that they needed a prescription from the doctor confirming that the insurance referral and authorization was legitimate. WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK SUBMITTED THE INSURANCE REFERRAL???? My doctor had to fax them the prescription 3x before they finally received it.They never once have followed up with me as they have said they would. I have always had to call them and figure out what stage this debacle is in.I followed up today... it will be another 5-10 days before I have the medical equipment I needed over 2 weeks ago. What a waste of my time! This company must be leeching money off insurance companies and people.Dont waste your time using this company for anything!!!

This is the WORST company I have ever worked with. They have no sense of customer service. I was told I would get a call back about dropping off equipment, and I never did. When I called back, they read back notes saying I said things I did not ever say - for instance, the very rude customer service rep in the travel department told me that I confirmed that we could drop the equipment off in Irvine because the previous person had gone out of her way to arrange something. I never said we could do this, nor the last part of that statement. They also said that I said we had someone that could take the equipment back to Irvine on a Saturday. This is not true. I said we had someone that might be able to PICK UP the equipment in Irvine and that we would make it work. Which we did - we changed our flights entirely to get to Irvine earlier in the day to get the equipment. At the Irvine branch, they said we could call to have the equipment picked up in San Diego. The travel department was ridiculous and unreasonable to work with. The First Lady was nice but the people I worked with today should be fired. And apria as a whole should be reformed. Seriously, you cant drop of equipment on a Saturday or pick it up past five? How difficult would it be to make this possible? This company should be ashamed of themselves for how they work. Pick any other company, because they are a disgrace of a company.

Why 1 star? Because you cant post if you dont put any!! Do I wish I could put less than 1? You bet!!This is the most inept company I have ever had to deal with either personally or professionally. The poor call center personnel are kind and do not get ruffled with continued calls, frustration, exasperation, and just plain anger - maybe they are actually trained to be calm knowing it will happen every single day!!!! You can NEVER get ahold of a person in your area - at least not in San Diego - even when the call center puts in a call for them to contact you!!!I have been put on the roster to have a bed removed from a facility for 4 days now. Well, 5 if you count today, but today is not over. Every single day I have been kept abreast by a computerized voice letting me know that my time frame has been changed to later and later. One day the estimated time of arrival at the assisted living facility was 9:30 pm!!!!!! The entire facility is shut down by that time!But once that day is over and the bed has not been removed, I do not get a courtesy call to apologize or even to simply reinstate the process to remove it! I have had to call the call center every morning - even though it looks like I am calling a local number. I am still waiting for a call from someone in SD!I do not know if this is the only healthcare business to bring beds, etc., and so they dont have to worry about competition, or what, but if there are others I will never use them again even if they are with Kaiser. I will request another company. And the hospital beds they give out? You have to buy or rent gel or foam toppers because they are nothing but junk that would not comfortable to anyone, much less a frail, elderly person who feels every single wrinkle in the sad, crinkly excuse for a bed. I know I would not sleep in it. I felt awful that my mother hadnt said anything earlier. Why am I turning it back in? I would rather spend the $1600 I had to spend on a new adjustable bed than have her sleep in that horrible excuse for a bed one more night!!!Am I angry and frustrated? Yes, indeed!!! These people should not be in business if this is they way they work! This is the second person I have been in charge of where this has happened. No more!!!

For my daughter. The actual delivery people are nice, but their call center/billing are atrocious. Had O2, and feeding supplies, finally able to return one more piece of equipment. Still need the last piece :/. Refused to do a pick up of the most recent item for return so im driving in 60 miles to drop it off.

If Apria isnt responsible for someones death already I would be shocked. Its only a matter of time. These guys are incredibly negligent. Theyve been no shows for several appointments. No phone call to let us know its been canceled or anything. The drivers sometimes show up as late as 2am (well after their office is closed). This makes it impossible to verify if someone is even going to show up. Class action lawsuit, anyone?

If I could give a lower score, I would. Terrible customer service, incorrect deliveries of orders, rude people when you call, and sometimes quite difficult to understand the service representatives through their accents. Ive opted to go without supplies for 7 months at this point just to not have to deal with the company. Called today because I need the supplies and had all the same problems and after 20 minutes was told that I cant get what I need without making an appointment which I cant make until Monday. If the rep, Michelle, had listened to me when we first started talking we could have not wasted time. Ugh.

Piss poor service! Please stay far far away from this company. Its shameful that insurance companies are keeping them in business.Waited 8.5 hours at the hospital for my portable tank to be delivered so I could go home. Was told several times youre next, youre next. Once the delivery guy finally arrived, at 11pm, he said use this key to turn it on and here sign this. I asked what I was signing and he said I dont know. When I took my time to read what I was signing, since he couldnt paraphrase it, he had an attitude! He then stated Im on my way to your house to drop off the rest of your stuff. I proceeded to tell him I never confirmed my home drop off and I wouldnt be there because I was sitting in front of his face. Fast forward 30 mins, I get home and theres a note on my door saying sorry we missed you. I called dispatch again to express my disappointment and ask when I would get oxygen. The rude lady on the phone states another ridiculous time window. Now remember Ive been up all day waiting on these people and now I have to stay up to wait on a new delivery?! If I fall asleep Ill miss my oxygen. The lady proceeds to say well you dont have to stay up but if you want your oxygen you need to be available. Im 7.5 months pregnant on continuous oxygen. Im literally about to run out of oxygen! I desaturate to the low 80s. If I dont oxygenate my baby doesnt either. So Im on my way to the closest ER to stay hooked to oxygen until I can get a new company to service me. Absolutely unacceptable from a durable medical equipment provider.

Negative stars for this place. For 3 days they have been leaving me messages that my stuff would be delivered, and no one has shown up. I called today and they told me they were scheduled for 9:30 pm. Seriously?! At 9:45 I called again and they told me 10:57 pm. This is completely insane. Im sure the CEO of this terrible company is fast asleep while I wait for my mothers medical supplies. Look elsewhere, if your insurance will let you!

Called my local branch San Diego to schedule a pick up and my call was directed to a young lady in Connecticut named Janessa. She tells me to drop it off at my local branch and I explain that I live 25 miles from the office so I would like to either have it picked up or have a padded box mailed so I can ship it back. After about 10 minutes of her muttering to herself and typing away she says it’s all set up. Well what is all setup? Am I to mail it or is it being picked up. Picked up…. Okay great what day, what time? Some info would be great! She says it will be picked up the following day from 3-5. I explain I am at work during that time and if it was possible to schedule a Sat pickup or to have it picked up from my work. She tells me to leave it outside. The breast pump that was to be picked up it work well over $1,000 so I told her that was not an option. She acts like it’s the biggest inconvenience in the world but I finally get her to agree to have the pickup from my work which is only 2 miles from my home. The day of pickup I called again to confirm and they had the pickup address wrong. I have him my information and I expected them later that day. Well, they were a no show so I called customer service AGAIN and was told they were just going to send me a fed ex box so I can send it back. It would have been great if someone had mentioned the change instead of me waiting after my shift. Unfortunately do to my insurance, Kaiser Permanente, I don’t have a choice and must go through Apria.

I know Apria has had communication problems, and I have had my share of issues on behalf of my brother, but my experience, especially with the guys who deliver has been one of very good service and customer care. They now have an option for Kaiser patients to select #1 on the phone and get to someone right away. This is a huge improvement and I congratulate them for installing this feature.

Very greedy and unprofessional company. After a hospital visit my wife was sent home with an Rx for a rental wheelchair delivered from Apria. To make a long story short they converted the wheelchair rental to a sale without our consent and charged the insurance company 600$ for it (you can buy same model at eg. walmart for about 150$). We actually wanted to return it because the model dont fit our needs but Apria refuse to take it back since they converted it to a sale. Our copay came out to roughly 130$ which I refuse to pay because I never asked for a purchase. Now they are sending collection agencies after me and I reported them to BBB.

These guys started charging my credit card $111.52 per month. Im a young guy, and dont need a CPAP machine or a hospital bed or an oxygen bottle. After 85 minutes on hold to get to the billing department, the lady said that, clearly I do not have an account with them, but they have no way of looking up a charge by a credit card number. I had to cancel my credit card to stop the charge. These people are unhelpful and not interested in customer service. I recommend going somewhere else.

Worst customer surpport I have ever had. I tried to rent a Medela hospital grade pump and I kept mentioning this from the very begnnning. However, without any notification, I received a pump by Fedex from them. The pump is not Medela not for rental. They purchased a pump for me! I had to contact my insurance to send it back and to cancel the order. The funny thing is that the customer service did not even know what they sent to me, and she transferred my call to the billing department and the guy from the billing department did not know either!

Just an organizational mess. Difficult, time consuming and expensive to deal with. Took much longer then it should have and had so many miscommunications when trying to get my bipap machine. Each department doesn’t communicate with the others so it took weeks longer to get my machine then promised. One call they will say the machine was delivered, the next they say it was never shipped. Seem to be understaffed because near impossible to get appointments within a reasonable time and any change to your setup requires an appointment. I’m thoroughly frustrated and currently have a machine I can’t use because I can’t get an apt I can make it to, so they can change my mask.

I believe Apria has the ability t thrive and become a great provider for patients all around the san diego county. Ive always had a great deliverer that comes when he says, kind, patient, loyal and works his butt off so when I didnt get the same driver today after it went past 5pm I knew he wasnt going to be here. Instead they sent some guy at 100am in the morning, called me asking me if hed rather I wait or suggesting he knows its late do I still want the delivery only to get here and tell me to hurry moving my bottles and I was limited to a certain number when I needed more.I pray to god this young man never comes to my home again because after that at 130am he decided he needed to rearrange everything around where it was metal on metal and loud. My neighbors complained and so did my family members, he was suppose to come in check my concentrator but said he didnt have time. Thats done for a reason, maintenance and consistency. Im not mad at Apria Im disappointed in the driver and his remarks, bad attitude and he kept saying he couldnt do this and that. Just complained about his work in general, its 130 am just please hurry and then leave. I mean no disrespect but Ive never been treated so badly by an Apria employee. Please return my regular driver, I have the utmost faith in him. Thank you

They have billed me for equipment that has never been received for my CPAP. I have received one bill and called to ask what the bill was for and they put me on hold for 10 minutes to check. After 10 minutes I finally hung up. Will try again next week. Customer service is awful! Where is the President/CEO of this company and why is he/she not handling these customer complaints personally? This is no way to run a large company that deals with people with medical needs. Put someone in charge NOW who can deal with these legitimate problems!

I really tried hard to not use these guys after seeing all your reviews. Turns out I didn’t have a choice, via my insurance. I’ve been with them for about two weeks now, and they have been nothing but a headache to work with. It is a sad state of the American Healthcare system that this company is able to remain in business.Well go through all the issues:My insurance is not the best, so I can get most of my CPAP supplies on Amazon for a lot cheaper than medical supply companies will charge me. I worked it out with my Doc that all I wanted was the CPAP machine. No supplies, no humidifier, nothing extra. I also reiterated this to the woman who helped me on the phone. What arrived? A CPAP with a humidifier, and extra hoses. The humidifier part wasn’t even on the prescription.Here is where the real migraine kicked in, trying to return the unwanted items. I will spare you all the details, but it took over 8 different people and an hour to eventual schedule a pickup, which I’m sure will go wrong. Here are some of my major gripes. I had to input or say my personal information every single time I was transferred. It got really annoying repeating my name, phone #, and Zip code 8 times. Also, every time I was transferred, the new person had no idea why I was calling. This gets especially annoying when you don’t know who they transferred you too. Is it too difficult to have a system that lets the new person now who you are and why you are calling. On the 4th transfer, they man on the other line could hear my frustration, and put me on “hold” which sent me back to the main menu. Thanks.The kicker was that almost everyone of them was ready to take my card information to get paid for the remaining balance on my account. Only problem is that balence was from the incorrect order you shipped. Kinda just showed they were more interested in getting paid, then fixing the problem.Like I said, it didn’t encounter anyone rude (except for the one who didn’t want to talk with me), just very inept people at their jobs. One mistake of sending the wrong stuff? Ok, it happens. But when it takes an hour and 8 people to attempt to fix the problem, you’re company as a whole is the problem.Update: 3 months later and they are still trying to collect money on the incorrect shipment. This even includes speaking with the hospital rep onsite, with my Doctor. Doctor told her what they were doing was fruad, said she would take care of it.Stay away from Apria if you can.

This is absolutely, positively, without a doubt, the worst company in the world to deal with!!I am not in the habit of writing reviews, good or bad, but this company needs to be put out of business.Early in January I tried for literally 1hour and twenty minutes to contact and submit an order for supplies. Constant transfers and hang-ups ensued even after going through the corporate office. Today I called to check on the order and it was not in the system and again I was transferred and hung up on. I’ve called these guys over and over each time they gave me a new excuse. I ordered first supplies for my CPAP machine which cost me $94.33. I found out that the VA gave these supplies for free for Vets. I return my unopened package back to Apria February 21st 2018. I’m still waiting for my refund. I’ve asked for a direct deposit. They told me it the system down. They told me they would mail it I’m still waiting it doesn’t take over a month to send a refund you took my money in 5 minutes so give it back in 5 minutes!

This company is now an out of network provider with my health care providers. I was not notified until I received a bill for a few hundred dollars that had not been covered. I have been paying this down each month and have now received a notice from a debt collection agency for an amount of $36.00 from March of 2014. I have yet to contact Apria but will ask that they remove their equipment immed. I have had previous issues but thought everything had been cleared.

Apria has always been so reliable for me. Even if theyre scheduled time changes they always come through. Im not suggesting anybody comments are not valid I only can go by how Ive been treated. How reliable theyve been when it comes to deliveries. The drivers usually are the same men and its nice to build a report with them as well know you depend on them for your life line which must carry a lot of weight. They work so hard, I watch how much weight the have to carry and move. Its hard work and they get tired and I cant imagine the stress one person must go through to do their job working for a company which demands great performance. So yes I appreciate Apria for always being there. yesterday they were suppose to deliver my tanks but its was moved till today and I believe they will get here. Im okay and if its gets to time where I need to get help then Ill do that but Im not going to write a negative review. NO. Theyve helped me more then ever and thats what matters. This company is terrible. My husband’s CPAP machine broke almost three weeks ago and we have had to move mountains to get any help. They claim to not have “loaner” equipment while you are waiting for them to fix yours, which is just ridiculous. What are people supposed to do? I wish we could use another company, but this seems to be what is used through our health insurance.

The back office people in the call centers are full of themselves idiotic thieves! They refused to bill my insurance correctly, told me I needed to tell my insurance to call them because I waited too long to give them the info. Excuse me, do you want to get paid?? Then they tell me my insurance has not paid anything toward the machine when I have EOBs from my insurance showing that they paid over $1500.00 to Apria!! Apparently they think that everyone is an idiot and will gladly fork out hundreds of dollars to them no questions asked. They were always rude and never informative, every time I called my bill would magically grow. Still havent gotten any kind of statement from them even though I have requested one about 10 times!

This company wastes money, and bills insurance for items that are sent to you even when not needed. Ive called repeated times about getting items that I have no need for. When I finally get to speak to someone, they tell to just throw it away. IF they did the job correctly in the first place, I wouldnt have to call to correct my invoice and billing (insurance cost fraud) and I wouldnt have to throw a brand new item in the trash...!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know who tracks inventory, but its sad. And why after so many calls cant they get the shipments right? How many times do they need to be told,? Worse costumer support than ATT. Could not tell me what Im being billed for. All they wanted was payment. Would not connect you to local office. They have centralized phone support scattered all over the country. No one at the wheel. I have called 6 times, have been transferred over a dozen times, wasted about 10 hours of my time, and I still do not have my CPAP equipment. This company has some of the worst service ever We have dealt with them for several years for other medical equipment and they are the worst company ever. They will schedule appointments to come out and service equipment or deliver and then they act like they call you and they hang up or they wont respond to their phone calls and then they say its your fault that they called and you didnt answer the phone what you did. its just frustrating. I do not understand why they are still in business. we recently were approved to purchase a piece of medical equipment and they dropped a ball and admitted that they screwed up on it, then said theyre going to be delivering it that the next day. Delivery never happened. They said they called and I said yes you did call and I answer the phone and nobody talked I kept on saying hello repeatedly and they just hung the phone. They finally show up with equipment and instead of having the paperwork correct as an outright purchase as our insurance company agree to do, they had it set up as a rental equipment so they can make more extra money off of it by charging us a rental amount I wish there was another company that are insurance company dealt with.If you have a choice please I beg you to use another company if you do not I am sorry you experienced the frustration that almost all of us feels.

Terrible experiences from day 1. Good luck ever getting through on the phone (I should know as Ive had to call over a dozen times with issues.) Also, it is not possible to ever talk to your local Apria center directly. Ive been in a terrible loop of poor customer service with them for the latest issue of them trying to retroactively charge me for a CPAP machine that is fully covered by my insurance.I would give them a 0 if I could. If you have other options on providers of your healthcare supplies, go with someone else - anyone else. Really has been the worst consumer experience of my life, which is disappointing as this is my health were talking about.

Cant even say id give this company 1/2 a star., infact id give it NEGATIVE 5 stars.... WORST healthcare company known to man. They deliver to elderly patients at midnight sometimes. They dont knock on the door for the patient instead leave door tags letting the patient know they were there at some point in the day. Calling them youre on hold for 45 minutes plus only to talk to someone who doesnt know what the heck they are doing. Only there for a paycheck, doesnt give a darn about their customers. Its like the company strives off of having horrible reviews. My patient had a door tag up on his house the other day put there while I was at his house working. Not once was the doorbell rang or did they even knock. I called back to see what they were here for and no one knew. Lord have mercy! Another time my clients oxygen wasnt working and they said theyd send someone out ASAP.... this was at 8 am.... person arrived at 6 pm!! REALLY!??
