I recently made a purchase all the way from Florida through a Monaco Jewelers. Buying a watch of this caliber online can be extremely hard, but the people/service at Monaco Jewelers made me feel extremely comfortable, and taken care of when spending on this kind of purchase. They spoke to me on the phone, they gave me detailed information, they shipped the watch with the next Day air - all the way from California - I had my purchase in hand within less than 48 hours. 10/10 recommendation not just on the service but also on the product. The watch is gorgeous, elegant, authentic - checking every one of my boxes. Will indeed continue doing business!

I received a ring from my grandmother that wasnt worth much. I needed some assistance with it and found many jewelers either told me my ring wasnt worth them working on it, or the estimate was extremely high. I stopped into Monaco Jewelers just on a last resort, and they were extremely kind and beyond helpful. I was so excited when I left with my sweet grandmothers ring on. My wife left a 1-star review of this business after a poor experience here. (Pictured below). After 2 YEARS the owner finally responds and instead of apologizing for closing early, they instead try to slander her and lie about her, making it seem like she expected them to stay open late rather than close at their regular scheduled hours as she had confirmed with them. So, also pictured is the evidence from google of when she was there that day. It clearly shows that she was there from 5:50-5:58 on the Thursday the review was left and that was the first time she was ever there, her mom dropped off the ring. So it is not possible for her to have shown up after hours, and has never been there after business hours. Not only do we highly doubt they went back 2 years on their security footage to check when she got there, but if they do have it I welcome them to post it because it will proveus in the right. Unless they want to argue with Googles timestamps. Not only are they discrediting my wife, but everyone else who has left them a bad review saying they are all warrantless and hired by their competition instead of trying to repair relationships with customers they are outright lying about them and not being truthful with their other clientele. It is disgraceful to treat your customer base this way. Do yourself a favor and go to Dana Point Jewlers by Hennessys and save yourself the headache. They do beautiful custom work, in fact its their specialty. Im not sure why after so long they decided to lash out but we thought you should all be aware.

I have been a customer of Monaco Jewelers for decades. I purchased an engagement ring there and 25 years later, got an amazing anniversary ring upgrade. Monaco goes above & beyond to meet and exceed your expectations. I had selected (and paid for) a 4ct Princess cut diamond when Ron called me in to look at a 5ct stone that was identical in color, cut, clarity but had more fire than the 4ct. I compared the two stones side-by-side and anxiously asked how much more the 5ct diamond was. The pricing between the two stones was so slight I cant even remember the difference...it was hundreds, not thousands. That rock grabs attention...which is the point right? Want a jeweler you can trust? Call Monaco. Just go and talk to em. Trust your instincts. I have met jewelers who made me want to shower after shaking their hand. I was naturally repelled by them. You know the type. Monaco is the opposite of that. Go check out the store for yourself, youll see. They are the last jeweler youll ever need.

I have been using Monaco Jewelers for nearly 10 years. I have gotten wonderful pricing and service over the years.My most recent situation I went to them for is to size one of my rings. Since the diamonds are in a channel setting, this was a very difficult job. The quality of workmanship is remarkable!The master jeweler who is on staff takes a tremendous amount of care in his work.I love family owned businesses.

Very upset. I grew up in SJC, and purchased my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band from Monaco Jewelers in the summer of 2016 when I brought her to visit my hometown.The side diamonds fell out on our honeymoon, and we were shocked and heartbroken. We visited Monaco on our next trip to California just a few months after we got back, and they replaced the lost diamonds for free.However, I wish that was the end of the story, but we have returned to Monaco nearly 10 times in the last 4 years to replace literally DOZENS of the tiny side diamonds. Each time, they apologized, telling me they would “waive” the cost of fixing the ring (...thanks I guess?) and that diamonds falling out of rings is very common so don’t worry that this keeps happening.“DIAMONDS FALLING OUT IS COMMON... DON’T WORRY”After flying back and forth from Chicago so many times (luckily I love visiting my fam) I realized it was not worth the headache being forced to go back there to get a free repair, and simply asked for my money back since my wife has never gotten to enjoy the ring for longer than a month or 2 without it falling apart. THEY REFUSED AND CALLED MY CHARACTER INTO QUESTION; they even said I was “blackmailing” them for threatening to write a bad review. The thing is, before asking for a refund, the repair they had just made the week before fell apart and I was missing diamonds again.All I wanted was a refund to purchase a ring back in Chicago where I wouldn’t have to deal with a LEMON of a ring that needs to be repaired all the time.Don’t let a pretty ring deceive you... poor craftsmanship at Monaco is not worth it. Every time I look at this ring, I should feel happy but I feel a PANG OF REGRET - courtesy of Monaco Jewelers.

I got off of work as quickly as I could and Went in today to take a look at some engagement rings. I arrived 30 minutes before closing because of traffic and got terrible service.When I arrived half of the jewelry cases were emptied and the only person that looked like she could Help was a lady (didn’t catch her name). I told her that I was looking for an engagement ring and I wanted to just see what options they had.She literally told me that they are closing already and that they always start packing up at 5:30. I looked down at my watch to make sure I wasn’t crazy and told her that there is still 30 minutes until closing while pointing at my watch.I was getting ready to potentially spend thousands of dollars with this lady and she was so concerned about shutting Down that she couldn’t help me even look at the options they had.I guess the most frustrating part is that I needed 10 - 15 minutes max and I would have been out of there way.Super unprofessional and I they just lost a customer because I am not even remotely interested in ever going back.

What really impressed me was that I was quoted a price for a custom ring and when I went to pick it up the actual cost was less than the proposal. Went to sell an engagement ring which cost me just shy of $6000 retail (.85 center stone with smaller surrounding stones in band total > 1 carat.. These crooks offered me $135. Guy was lucky I didnt smack him. Never ever ever go to this place to sell your valuable jewelry. I would advise everybody to stay away from this location as a buyer or seller.

I received a sapphire necklace as a gift from an ex boyfriend(He left the tag on the necklace, which said $1559). I bought it to Monaco to make sure the gems were real sapphire and diamond, they said yes (and their neat hand held testing device tested positive as well) and offered me $200 for it, I declined at the time, but then came back a week later and the Lady was extremely rude to me and said I might as well just give the necklace away because nothing on it was real . SHE PRETENDED TO TEST THE DIAMONDS AND SAPPHIRE WITH THEIR DEVICE WHICH WASNT EVEN TURNED ON. she clearly just wanted to get rid of me, which she did! I will not be returning.

DONT EVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!My boyfriend got Me a ring from here back in July as a birthday present. I took the ring in to let the lady who works there know that one of the prongs on the diamond kept catching on everything. She gave me a rude look and told me if she pushed it down that it would cut the diamond. I told her that white gold would not cut a diamond, and all I received was another dirty look. No offer to fix the ring. Now the prong is completely broken off!!!! After telling people about my experience with them and not wanting to take it back to get fixed by them. I have heard endless bad things about other peoples experiences with the lady but we did all come to the agreement on one thing what ever the ladys name is she is a B****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Employees do not wear face masks. A customer that came in was not wearing one either. This behavior is SELFISH and DANGEROUS for those of us who care.

My husband brought me into Monaco to surprise me with a new wedding ring for our 12th anniversary. Meray was extremely patient and helpful during the process of designing a new ring. She has a gift in guiding and helping anybody’s vision come true. While my ring was being custom made, Meray had great communication during the process. The ring was overnighted and I literally wept tears of joy when I saw it. It was exactly as I had envisioned but WAY better. My diamonds have depth, clarity and sparkle like crazy. I will cherish it forever. I am grateful for Meray and Jason treating us like family. We live in Arizona but anytime we want to buy Jewelry; Monaco will be our choice.

I walked to size my new watch. First time at this store. The store had not one customer. They wanted to charge me $5 per link. Family owned stores that need customers should do it st no cost as a good gesture to get new customers. This person was curt and unfriendly. She said yes it will be $15 to resize your watch. I left not necessarily for the cost, but her manner. I belong to the Dana Point group in FB, if they ask for a recommendation I wont be recommending Monaco Jewlers.

Monaco Jewlers have always been there for me, from purchasing, to cleaning, to repairing and even selling them gold. They have such a knowledgeable and friendly staff. I know them all there. Ron, Jason and Meray always treat me fairly, professionally and offer me very reasonable prices. They have appraised multiple items for me, and they always seem to give top value. I love the atmosphere of their lobby. Its a beautiful showroom with a lot of space and its always so clean and bright. The seating is comfortable and the parking is easy. Its located on the outskirts of Costco and they are always open when I need them. Thank you Monaco Jewlers for treating me like a person first.

Bad business practices!!!! They said they would be open till 6 and a sign out front said that as well and I got there 15 till on a Thursday and they were already closed, everyone was gone!! I needed to pick up my ring THAT day and no one was there and I called earlier to tell them I was coming. They clearly do not care about customer service. They will not be getting my business again.

Took my wifes ring for repair and they did more then I expected!! They left it brand new!! Highly recommended!!
