I shop at this Vons all the time they always have what I need excellent service Laura is the best cashier she remembers everybodys name shes super nice and its always a joy to see her.

I went in today to the pharmacy inside of Vons to get a Covid vaccine. I was told, we dont do Covid vaccines on the weekends by the pharmacist. Our President Biden has asked that all Americns get vaccinated against Covid. Not having this available on the weekends, during a pandemic, is the hight of carelessness.

I like this Vons. Its clean and organized. Nice flower department, good meat counter, nice bakery. They have a friendly helpful staff too

I live in San Juan castrato and is a bronzed I could walk to and I usually go in the evening so like to take a walk their meats are very good The pricing that market though is so expensive and really watch their specials because they miss a lot of times its very clean but If it wasnt close to home and I could walk to it I would go somewhere else not putting it down its not the service is not very good

Nice grocery store to find what u need

This smaller store has a real neighborhood beachy vibe. It is well layer out, the people are friendly and it has everything on my food shopping list.

Quick stop for a treat for a friend. Holiday candy up front for grab and go option. Grabbed a bag, checked out and was on my way.

I like to give better ratings, but I have a couple of issues with this Vons. One is pricing, the other is selection. I will stop if I am passing by and only need a few items, I save my full shopping for a store a bit further away but has better pricing and selection on the things I use.Baking is my not so guilty pleasure, so I need yeast, buttermilk, (if you see us on the beach on a weekend morning come by and get a plate of buttermilk pancakes and coffee or juice. Youll figure out who we are. The big, happy, wet, sandy group eating, well, pancakes. We share until the batter runs out. I make a lot of batter. 😁) and different kinds of flour. I gave up on Vons for my baking needs.There is handicapped parking up front, and since it is in a plaza there is usually plenty of parking. It is located south of Del Obispo so if youre headed for the beach and realize you left the hot dogs at home its an easy stop, though I would stop at the Smart and Final in Capo beach, myself.Unfortunately, shopping became somewhat limited when San Juan lost its Ralphs. But hey, we gained a Target and a Trader Joes. To be honest, Id trade both to have our market back, and the competition it provided to help keep prices down.

Poor customer service. I had 16 instead of 15 with no one in line the others were full. She told me to go to another line.🤦 I did and the bagger stopped bagging to chat with another gal at the phone station before she was done. I started bagging and the checker apologized.

Its a pretty average grocery store, and that to me is great.

We used to do most of our grocery shopping at Trader Joes, but in the past several months we have switched to Vons to get, what we feel, is higher quality produce that does not go bad so quickly. Its sort of nice shopping at a large grocery store like Vons. Theres a fair bit more consistency in stock (the TJs near our house was increasingly running out of stuff). Trader Joes near our house is frequently blaming lack of stock on supplier issues.Vons has a lot of variety of each product, which can be daunting. Also, the employees at this Vons have been extremely courteous and customer focused in the past few months. Maybe they all attended a corporate-sponsored customer service and interpersonal training course. Whatever the reason, thats really nice. We still go to TJs for specific, unique items, but mostly only for things that are in packaging and will not spoil.Thats it for now. Have fun grocery shopping.

They completely remodel this store and still I find a hard time enjoying shopping here. The employees are nice, the store is clean.

I love going to shop and meet people

Great store anytime for gift cards for Christmas or anytime! They have two huge end caps with EVERY known store, or tech or restaurant cards. Never seen this big a selection anywhere. Nice bakery and deli too.

Love the place with a lots of nice people to work with and sometimes they are in too rush to pay attention.

I wanted a sandwich! You have to come between 11am and 6pm or you will be disappointed. Maybe everyone and every business works those hours. Even if there are people there. They wont even look at you. But they have cool leftovers if you want to look for a while..and have your own condiments.

Friendly pharmacy employees

As I am still furloughed from work I am still on unemployment and ebt when I went to check out the cashier who was very nice had to call the manager because something wasnt working correctly and the manager had to degrade me to make himself feel better apparently. Kept raising his voice saying YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH LEFT ON YOUR FOOD STAMPS! Its embarrassing enough that at 54 yrs old I am having to use assistant until I get back to work. Could have been a little more compassionate.

I would like to say what good employees you have especially Phil and Nick who are so helpful every time I go to Vons, they are always quick to ask if I need any help! I appreciate that so much! Thank you for your kind words and service!

Poor vons. Since ralphs closed down to become a mini target, vons has been the only action in town. Night manager is a sweetheart. Some cashiers looking for a fat lip or a lawsuit. Ill take either one.

Right off the freeway. Always has the smell of fish as you walk in. No self checkout, one express lane. They seem to stock during the day so aisles are crowded most times we visit. Limited vegetables and greens over other Vons in the area. Clean, staff masked, carts cleaned.

Meh, good in a pinch

This is my home grocery store for more than 40 years, so I may be a little biased. But the checkers are all very friendly and efficient so getting in and out is a breeze. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of and the parking spaces are wide so door dings are rare.

Once again Vons never fails to disappoint. Took longer at the check out then it did shopping. Produce is good and the meat section is fine as well. They just cant to seem to figure out the final step.

I go to this Vons around twice a week over the last two months Everytime I go things are out of stock. I am always told things will be restocked tomorrow and they never are. I go to this Vons since it is close to my work but I think I will have to go to a different store from now on.

Do not shop for your meat here. Meat people bring thier aprons abd use the restroom with them on. You can wash ur hands but what about the aprons. Does the whole store to this?Makes u want to think how management is.

Was not very good people were very rude there and not very helpful. Also there was homeless people around there that made you feel very uncomfortable.

I always shop here, Vons had best prices I believe. I like that the store is small, I usually shop late Sunday night. Miss Louie the mgr. 1 star off becuz no day old bakery . And because of the people out front begging you for money$.

The food is ALWAYS out of date by an incredible amount of months. We’ve had Rj take back about 4 things this week because their sell by date was in March 2017 and it’s september 2017. Horrible.

No canned pumpkin. I didnt see any other pie filling. Maybe I didnt know where to find it but I scoured the baking, vegetable, and fruit sections.
