I had a tragus and orbital done and it was really simple. The price of $40/piercing was higher than other places Ive been to but, the piercers were really professional and the piercings were almost painless. If you dont want an interesting experience, Id recommend this place.Also, I had an issue with a piercing that I hadnt gotten done at traditional tattoo. However, I called them and they were able to help me within the hour despite them usually requiring appointments.

Absolutely outstanding. I cannot rave about this place more, extremely helpful when booking a reservation, and amazing staff. Between my friends and I we gota cartilage, lobe and nipple piercing done and it was painless and quick. It was extremely sanitary and professional. I’m in love with my piercing and Matt gave us his card if any follow up was needed and offered support throughout the healing process. Again this is a must go if you’re near the area.

Very clean. Reasonably priced. Was able to get pierced right away. Followed all protocol. Good customer service and comfortable atmosphere. Parking was the only thing i can see being a problem. Other than that i would recommend highly for piercings. Cant input on tattoo work, was only there for a body piercing.

Matt did my tongue piercing and it was a great experience! I get a bit faint with some piercings, and he made sure it was painless and even had me lie down so I wouldnt pass out afterward. Would absolutely recommend for any piercings!

Really nice people, and very friendly and accommodating. They really seem to know what theyre doing and what theyre talking about. I had to come in for a quick consultation on an ear piercing that was closing up, they were able to see me after a short wait and recommended I set up an appointment that day (wait of 30 minutes or so). I didnt have time, but would gladly go to them if I needed it. I also stopped by another tattoo/piercing place in Atascadero and they said they dont have a piercer but recommended I come to this place because they know what theyre doing. Even their competitors in the next town over recommend them!

These guys are great. I got my septum pierced about a month or two ago and my jewelry fell out and was lost. They were able to help me get a new piece of jewelry in within the hour!

I used to love this place and still recommend it to many people . The only thing that has changed is a few of the artist talk negatively about a lot of their clients especially ones who get small tattoos and or walk in . I overheard an artist talk badly about someone who just left the store happy from getting her work done and even complimented the artist work. Some folks can’t afford large intricate designs and isn’t an excuse to talk badly about a good client. ):

This place is amazing. I never leave reviews but I just feel so inclined to with Traditional because they have helped me with my cartilage piercing so much. I had it pierced for about 2 years and went in to get a hoop, they helped me replace the jewelry and after a while my ear rejected the hoop. I went back in and they helped me put the stud back in and clean it up for no charge. (This happened 2-3 times). I seriously love this place and their service I will not go anywhere else!!!

Super nice shop. Went there to buy plugs which Ive had some trouble finding in this area, they had a nice selection including the glass plugs that Ive really enjoyed stretching up with. My mum got her eyebrow pierced as well and the piercer, Matt, was awesome. Knowledgeable, experienced. Definitely the place to go for piercings. I always have a great experience at Traditional. Matt is a superb piercer and very professional. I have needle phobia and he was quick and gentle with my nose piercing. He was always available to answer my questions during the first weeks of healing, and has given me the VIP treatment every time. Matt is a great guy, he did my cartlidge piercings and was super professional and very kind! The whole studio was very clean and had lots of options for different piercings and jewelry. I ended up going back to get new jewelry for my existing piercings. I felt very comfortable and I felt like the prices were reasonable. Overall, highly recommend!

This place does excellent tattoos and piercings. I had to give it four stars because of the newest hire for the front desk. The new woman is condescending and rude and unfriendly. I wouldnt recommend keeping her around. I hope traditional sees this.I especially recommend Matt southwood for piercings. Most every artist is very skilled and professional.Once again, consider the impact of a rude front desk assistant, it really will drive off new customers.

Ive gotten three different piercings here from Matt and have yet to be disappointed. He is very good at what he does. He knows exactly where piercing should be placed to maximize look and functionality. His care instructions are also very helpful and the piercing environment is very sterile. I have never had an issue with scars or infections. I would highly recommend Traditional for any of your piercing needs.

Ive been to most of the studios in SLO, this one is by far the best. Im looking for cleanliness, professionalism, price, and jewelry choice. But the guy and the young lady (sorry I don’t remember your names) at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer either. Within 10 seconds of my arrival into a crowded lobby, they welcomed me in and helped me right away. I got my nose pierced and I explained to Matt, the man who did it, that I was super nervous because Im afraid of needles. He was so sweet about it and explained exactly what he was going to do before hand so I felt less nervous. He was super gentle and he definitely knew what he was doing, and he, like everyone else I talked to at Traditional, seemed to really care about the work he did. If I ever want another piercing, Im going here.

Traditional tattoo was highly recommended by my stylist when I finally decided it was time to get my ears pierced. They were very professional and I was impressed by the steps my piercer took to insure a sterile environment, every bit as clean as having minor procedures at a doctors office.

Ive been getting art from Brian for awhile; hes super talented, personable, badass and a great guy! The artists have different styles so the shop can get a variety of clients. Dont remember the guy who pierced my belly button was but he was a life saver considering the guy who had pierced it before here in clovis screwed it all up! when i told him my situation he told me how embarrassing it was for all Piercers in general when they get careless. He wasnt afraid to be honest considering I am a chubby girl and explained to me why he was piercing it the way he was! only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the white guy who usually sits at the counter was in a pissed off mood and was not friendly at all when I walked in.
