I had been to 3-4 other bridal shops to try on dresses prior to making an appointment with Mariam at the SLO Epiphany Bridal shop. The daughters of my then-fiancé (now husband) came with me and were very comfortable and welcomed with me, video-calling in my mother to the fitting as well.The first dress Mariam had set aside for me (based my responses to a thorough survey prior to the appointment), was perfect. To be honest, any of the several dresses she hand-picked for me prior to my arrival checked nearly all my boxes. But the first one was THE ONE. The pricing package was very reasonable, taking into consideration many factors, and she set me up with options for alterations packages and a timeline with the Carmel Epiphany boutique, where Christine performed some specific alterations and ordered my veil.My family was always welcomed to video call in from their different locations and time zones, and my 1-2 in-person guests were always accommodated. I felt very taken care of and the communication maintained throughout the process was fabulous. Thank you for your attentive services and care taken in a every step of the process, including follow up!

This was my first dress shopping experience and it exceeded all expectations. Went in because a friend recommended and I wasn’t really expecting to find “the one” on my first day shopping, however, I did. I knew it from the moment I put it on as my daughter commented that I was glowing. From scheduled fittings to day of pick up, everything was stress free. I felt absolutely amazing on my wedding day and that is something you can’t put a price on!

I custom ordered my dress, and the entire process with alterations went perfectly. This was an awkward experience overall.Good selection of dresses and open availability to make appointment and accommodate follow up appointments. Half the store was out of stock.Mariam made me and my guests feel uncomfortable. She was hesitant and getting a little frustrated by letting my guests pick out dresses for me. During follow up appointment, she talked poorly about my guests saying, she was unable to pick only 1 or 2 dresses for me since my guests chose them all for me.Which was simply not true. They were just browsing and asking, what about this one?It made me uncomfortable that she was talking about my friends and family and exaggerating how she couldn’t help me last time because of them. Awkward!

I was searching for the perefect dress for over a month. Buying your wedding dress is supposed to be an experience, not just a purchase. After being disapointed by the off-putting atmosphere at most bridal boutiques, I arrived at Epiphany to find Marium enthusiastically awaiting my arrival. She had a sign ready for me that had my name and wedding date on it, so personal! She lavished me with attention, expertise and her fabulous sense of humor. I felt prioritized from beginning to end.I also needed some alterations made before the wedding, and Epiphanys seamstress, Kristine, was so warm and wonderfully experienced. Both of them made my wedding dress experience phenomal. Please do yourself the biggest favor as a bride, go here and experience real customer service before you go anywhere else!

I would not have found the dress of my dreams without Mariam. She put me in every silhouette imaginable to make sure I didn’t miss out on anything. She went above and beyond to make sure my dress was perfect and ready in time for my wedding! Make sure to stop by Epiphany Bridal when looking for your dress, you won’t regret it.

I found out about Epiphany Bridal Salon from Justin Alexander’s website as I was looking for a specific gown and I am beyond thrilled about my experience with Mariam and Christine. I connected with Mariam via email and provided her with background information about myself, my fiancé, my wedding venue, and images of dresses that I liked. I specifically recall telling her that I didn’t want a halter (wore that style at my first wedding) or strapless. When I arrived for my appointment she had styles of gowns that I requested, and one strapless. I gave her the “look” and she said just try it on and Oh. My. Gosh… she knew exactly what she was doing!! Yes, I cried. I waited 6 months to get the dress and stepping into it for my first alteration I was just as excited. I had three alteration appointments and they held my dress until a few days before the wedding. Wedding day arrived and I felt like my dress was made for me and I couldn’t wait to get married…. Then we had a tragedy happen…. So, to have a re-do, I reached out to Mariam and Christine to see if they could alter my dress to take with me on my honeymoon - added straps and modified the train to make it more beach friendly - and it was perfect!! Picking a dress is stressful and exhilarating with every emotion in between, I couldn’t have asked for anything more from these two ladies !! If you’re going to say YES TO THE DRESS do it at Epiphany Bridal San Luis Obispo!

I had such a wonderful time trying on dresses. It was my first time so I wasn’t quite ready to say yes, but the dresses were all beautiful and the customer service was phenomenal. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
