On a friends suggestion that this place had the best donuts they’d ever had, we had to try it out, right??!!How do you choose between so many flavors of donuts? They were delicious and we’re already planning another trip to try a different flavor. Apparently, boysenberry cream cheese pillow is the way to go. We’ll be back!

Was watching Donut King documentary and got a craving. First went to Sunshine Donuts but they had virtually no selection. SloDoCo caters to college crowd so I was twice the age of everyone in there. But they were still super friendly and helpful. Prices decent too. Got all this for $7.

Awesome little donut stop in SLO! The gentleman who works there was so friendly and gave us lots of assistance in choosing the right donuts. They have some pretty unique options for donuts that look really tasty. They also had a good amount of vegan options that have really good flavor!

This donut and coffee shop is spectacular. The old fashioned and buttermilk donuts were so tasty.

Loved the matcha donut, cinnamon churro donut, and the marshmallow galaxy glazed donut! So fluffy and perfect. The pillow donuts were way too sweet for me though.

A SLO staple. Everyone has their favorite donut from Slodoco, and everyone is right about theirs being the best— whether a classic (maple bar, vanilla cruller, old fashioned) or a Slodoco Original (Thai tea, Fruity Pebbles, lavender) there is no disappointing flavor here.There are all sorts of seasonal flavors (I had a shark week donut a few summers back!) as well as vegan and gluten-free options. Good for breakfast, dessert, midday snack and after class pick-me-up. The coffees and teas are pretty great, too.Since theyre open for so long, batches of flavors come out in shifts, so the specialty donut you got last night at 6pm might not be out when you visit at 7am. Just ask someone who works there when those ones usually get brought out :)(P.S. the best is the Thai tea donut with an iced Thai tea to drink. Thats my winning combo)

Maple everything donuts YASSSSSS. appreciated how well everything was labeled and they have an entire section of maple so thumbs up.

Ive had their donuts before when my sister brought them back from her work trips so I had to stop by during my short trip in SLO. There were so many flavors to choose from and there were even vegan options. The donuts I chose were too sweet from what I remember. The one vegan donut I got was pretty (as pictured), delicious and not too sweet.

Amazing GF doughnuts! We came here specifically for them and we werent disappointed. Lots of flavor options but the best were the chocolate and the maple. The ones with the cereal on top were my least favorite. Highly recommend!

Honestly SloDoCo is probably my favorite donut place in San Luis. The staff are always so kind and they just make my day a little bit better. The donuts are always so pretty while also being equally as tasty. If youre passing through Slo, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for a donut or two

Cute little place. Sad that some of the Donuts I wanted were out (went at 4:30pm),but still a lot of choices still tho. Really affordable (I was even expected to pay more so that was a good surprise) and they are good as well!

Words cant describe their donuts because my mouth never stops watering for them. Amazing selection and fresh. Pillows are great, fritters are crunchy, and the good ol old fashions are amazing!

Overpriced, overhyped. Very unprofessional overall. Bought a milk with my last order, and overheard someone in line talking about the refrigerator being broken last time, so I mentioned it to the person working at the counter. Actual quote: Oh haha yeah I guess someone earlier today got spoiled milk or something. They then proceeded to ring up my order with the milk included, until I stopped them. This place is a health violation waiting to happen.

Cool spot to get some donuts with pretty creative flavors. They have so many kinds that it can be a bit overwhelming though. Saw lots of students just hanging out, studying so it seems like a cool place to chill. The flavor of the donuts wasnt as good as Psycho Donuts in Campbell but they were pretty tasty.

Every bite is extraordinary.The colors on display with each flavor shinning through the displays are a beautiful symphony with my eyes.My eyes ate first. I ordered the ones that my eyes loved. Safe... great selection, even Gluten Free... good prices, great service.

They are a clean facility and follow all covid rules. Wheel chair accessible. Best thing is the have both vegan as well as Gluten free tasty and creative options. All of May they have Star Wars themed donuts after 9am. Many of the walls have cool murals to enjoy while in line too. Easy to see from the road.

Horrible customer service especially for special orders. Sure their donuts are good, but for the headache of dealing with them it just isnt worth it. We contacted the head baker for a special order of Star Wars donuts for our sons birthday. They said to let them know early which we did and we kept trying to constantly check in with them if our order can be fulfilled in time. We never got responses, the person was never in, and just lacking customer service. We hear a WEEK later that basically it cant be done so we went with another company for treats for the birthday. Overall very incompetent, unprofessional, unresponsive, and horrible customer service. I will never purchase from them again.

SloDoCo is a place I frequent (Dont judge me! 😆). The people, including the management, are genuinely friendly and efficient. The donuts taste amazing and the variety is the best Ive seen. The drip coffee is great as well. I recommend SloDoCo as a must visit spot for out-of-towners.. The locals already know!

Great fresh donuts - Best in SLO - Patience is a virtue - when waiting for (one) an attendant to collect donuts for an indecisive customer - I get ants in my pants & have to leave, sometimes empty handed - but thats my issue - They are super cool and the donuts are delicious....

On our way to Motto Bay we came across this instagrammable place. Wait what? Yes, these donuts are truly worth a post. From Thai Iced Tea to Lavender frosting - you can find anything here. Super cozy to sit down and sip a coffee while having a delicious treat around the clock! Definitely worth a stop!

Well worth visiting! Super fresh donuts as its popular with the locals and college students. Only a little pricer than average donut shops, but well worth it with all the custom varieties. Board games and lots of seating available. Kept me and my kids entertained for a one hour total visit.

If I could I’d give them 0 stars. The donuts are ok but very expensive. And I asked for two cappuccinos, instead they gave me two lattes that were nasty and were 65% full. And it wasn’t hot either. As well as it being pretty foamy. I was charged $4.25 for each and the cups were small. So all the way around, it was a F over. But my fault for going there. Never again.

Delicious donuts, great ambiance and graphic design. The marshmallow glaze on the galaxy bar was perfection. They also have a donut design bar with sprinkles and other goodies to spruce up your sweet treats

First time there and was very impressed with the quality. Staff super friendly and chill. If you have a sweet tooth this is the place. My favorite was maple with bacon. Perfect about of bacon spread out and in every bite. Maple glaze was just right, basically what Im saying is if you havent tried it and you like bacon....get it...or two...lol

1/2 dozen Crumb, glazed, chocolate frosted at 9pm. Still fresh, fluffy, the crumb was crunchy from sugary glaze and cinnamon sugar crystals, soooo good! Loved the tender cake texture of chocolate frosted, and the simple glazed, ... delicious!

Their donuts do not remain on the shelves for long, so they are always fresh. Hmmm fresh donuts!😋 They change up flavors on a weekly basis. Good luck not waiting in line on weekend mornings. Everyone seems to have the same craving at that time.

Another novelty donut shop. Novelty donut shops are popular because of the zany and interesting flavours (cookie crisps cereal on a chocolate chip walnut raisin cronut) but end up really lacking in the actual quality and flavour department. I had a vegan, normal raised, and cake donut here. The vegan donut actually ended up being the best, but was nothing Id come back for. The other two were pretty substandard. They have a cool donut customization center, which I bet would be really fun for kids, so thats a plus. Overall, I think this place would actually really be really nice for kids, but if you want a really QUALITY donut, unfortunately it might be elsewhere (probably not in SLO).

Great selection of specialty donuts beyond what you find in most donut shops.

A great variety of donuts, staff is politely and friendly, coffee is good for coffee but only if you’re good at mixing up your own drink, seating is a bit uncomfortable but there are plenty of electronic sockets for charging, the local are is a plus. The biggest draw is that they offer WiFi 24 hours.

The gluten free donuts also! Just ask! Excellent donuts, great service!

SloDoCo has always pleased everyone Ive taken. Its open 24 hrs, so no matter whether you want a sweet breakfast at 8 am or a hearty treat after some bad news at midnight, they have you covered. Im always amazed at the variety of donuts available. There is seriously some adventurous stuff here. SloDoCo is one of the places I have to stop every time I return to San Luis. Definitely worth it.

Great to have vegan options. Would love to see natural colors used. Friendly service and fast. Pretty pricey but the quality was lovely!

We’re from out of town and went to this donut shop because of the Apple fritter reviews. People raved about them being the best they’d ever had. It was $3.50 of disappointment. It was overly sweet, mushy, and hardly had any apple bits.

They have a wide variety of donuts with quirky names and flavors. They have bacon maple bars, lavender flavor donuts and Galaxy donuts. They have vegan options too and they are delicious. They are excellent and have great coffee.

My friends & I took a trip to the coastal area recently & as we were passing thru my friend wanted to stop & get some donuts from her favorite donut shop. This donut shop was busy at the late hour that we stopped in & its probably because they had a large variety to choose from. I chose the Red Velvet Donut which was so delicious & moist. Now I know why this has become my friends favorite spot to go to when in the area. Great vibe & excellent service!

Awesome doughnuts - light and fluffy and really tasty. Though they have what you may find in a typical doughnut shop, there are a lot of unique flavors. The wide variety of options makes it very difficult to decide - you have been warned! But whatever you get, youll be satisfied!

I love SloDoCo! After I found out I could not have dairy products, I knew I would miss donuts when I would have a hankering for them. Keep in mind, thats not often. Then I found out SloDoCo makes some vegan ones. Not only are they delicious but I can eat them without worrying about dairy consequences. Haha anyways. Worth a stop. Prices are higher for their vegan, gluten-free items but they are worth it.

I am from out of town and I love their donuts and usually go to the Atascadero location. The Atascadero location is so friendly and have great customer service. This past Sunday I went to the SLO location and I am so unhappy with my experience. First of all the boy behind the counter was not friendly. I am an easy-going customer and I was quick with my order. Not only did he grabbed the wrong donuts but he shoved 6 donuts in a small bag. But I was in a hurry to go back home so didnt noticed until I left. Some of the donuts were crushed and it fell apart, so I wasnt able to eat some of them. My friend was there with me and got a box for her 6 donuts. Who the hell shoves a lot of donuts in a small bag?

They have gluten free donuts! This may not be a big deal to some but when someone you love has Celiac disease it makes all the difference in the world when they can walk into a regular donut shop and get a donut! Thank you for making them and making them so delicious!

Very creative but average doughnuts. Also they wouldn’t let out son enter the store because he has a disability and they said they they don’t accommodate. Friendly staff, but I prefer fresher doughnuts and places that lets my child enter.

I love that this donut shop is open 24/7! Great spot to drop in for a treat. The pillow donuts and cream puffs are fresh, light and crisp. They even have vegam options! It can be loud and crowded Thurs-Sun and during finals and midterms. Otherwise, they have great options during the day hours and a nice, artsy atmosphere. There is free wifi and also board games available. Some nights they even have live music. Great spot for all ages.
