Went in to get my B1 service done on my Mercedes, being a 1st time Mercedes owner I wasnt aware of how often the car had to be serviced. I had called at the beginning of the year and Omar walked me through the steps to find when the car would need the service, the day came and I took it in. They were super welcoming, friendly, and professional! Its been a week and the car feels great! Finally found a great & trusting place to get my car the service it needs.

I was referred to HG Performance for having service done to my 2020 C8 Corvette.Local Chevy dealer did not make me feel comfortable w/ their C8 knowledge of anything about the car. At HG they did make me feel comfortable that they would treat / work on my Vette very carefully. And we can document everything so not to void the new car warranty.I’m very pleased and plan on a relationship w/ HG Performances and my C8 from here on.Thank you.

This is a long overdo review. The folks here are excellent! Ive had my Telsa Model 3 Performance here a few times for everything from a tire swap, to an alignment w/corner balance. They do great track prep, and take care to listen to your needs. Prices are in line with other places, if not better. I cant say enough about HG. They are 45 mins away from me, but it is worth it! I highly recommend HG Performance.

HG Performance is the best auto shop I have ever been to. Neema, Madison, and the rest of the team provide outstanding service, and make you and your car feel right at home. Will never take my car anywhere else.

They were efficient, communicative, and transparent with what my car needed. They were thorough in their inspection and were able to save me money on my tires as well. 10/10 recommend, will go there for all my car needs.

I was very impressed with this shop. They know what they are doing and have the necessary diagnostic technology to insure appropriate work. They are considerably less expensive than Porsche dealer and in my opinion better. They will be taking care of my Porsche for the duration moving forward.

STAY AWAY FROM HG PERFORMANCE!I am generally not one to give negative reviews, however, I feel obligated to inform the public in hopes of preventing someone from having to experience the same atrocities I have. This company is shady, unprofessional and relies on google images and some questionable 5 star reviews to sell themselves. I brought them my McLaren 720s for some upgrades and not only waited weeks to get updates on my simple stage 2 upgrade, but picked up my car with 1000 MORE MILES THAN WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF. Not only did they JOY RIDE my McLaren, but they must have bottomed out the car and DESTROYED MY CARBON LIP. They tried telling me It was like that when you gave it to us, but what the gentleman at HG forgot was that we were admiring my car when I dropped it off and he complimented how great the lip looked........which obviously was not broken at the time. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE PEOPLE after nothing but headaches and hope no one with any relatively nice vehicle goes here ever.

Great diagnosis of the problem, quickly identified a broken control arm on my E63 and replaced it on the same day along with 4 wheel alignment. Neema and Omar are great to work with.

I did a complete suspension rebuild on my 07 SRT Charger. Took it to HG For an Alignment. The did it flawlessly and did a brake flush. Communication was on point. Customer Service was excellent. And let me know a bout a few things they found. Will 100% be back! 🤘

The guys at HG are super friendly and very knowledgeable about all cars, especially exotics and higher end. Almost like a white glove service with keeping the car clean during the service. Omar and his team are just the best in the game. I am bringing my Ferrari 488, Porsche 991 Turbo S and Range Rover SVR over there. Finally found a shop I can trust to handle HRE wheels. I had a flat tire (small nail) and Neema (GM) assured me that they had the proper tire machine to work on my wheels safely. The tire was fixed, no drama. I’ve found a local shop to service my R8!!!! Thanks Neema !

I have used HG performance several times and these guys are plain awesome. Excellent customer service! Omar and his team managed to get me the piece I was looking for (QTP Exhaust Cut outs + electronic controller) for the best price available!! As soon as the pieces arrived, they communicated with me on the order status and had the pieces delivered to me. Highly recommended for tune-up, customization, even simple check up or repairs, you cannot go wrong with them!

What else is there to say, these guys exceed every single factor of business.

All their technicians are factory trained to work on Mercedes and Porsche. This was important to me. I didnt want to just take my car to any old foreign car mechanic. They are also factory trained on other German cars but since I only own a Porsche and Mercedes, I didnt look into it.Their place looks amazing. It is so clean inside the service area, you feel like you could eat off the floor. Everything is all shinny and new.I was an old Heinz Gietz Mercedes customer at their downtown La Jolla location for 20+ years. When they closed that location, I switched to San Diego Mercedes. I wouldnt say that I received bad service at San Diego Mercedes but it wasnt anything special. I definitely wouldnt write home about it. I lease my Mercedes so I figured it would just be easier to take it to San Diego Mercedes since the car is under warranty. The experience reminded me how much I missed Heinz Gietz Mercedes. I had my Service B done at San Diego Mercedes and it was significantly more money than it would have cost me at HG Motorsports. In addition, San Diego Mercedes made me wait over an hour for a loaner car. Last week, my brake wear warning light came on. This time, I took the car to HG Motorsports. Big difference! Unlike San Diego Mercedes that charges you for a loaner car, HG gives you one for free.In addition, for a small fee, they will even pick up and drop off your car at your home or work.If you decide to drop your car off, their location is only two exits away on the 5 freeway. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to get there. It is right off the exit. They will also allow you to drop off your car at Enterprise rental car in La Jolla - the one right next to the Mobil Gas station on La Jolla Village drive.I took my Porsche there last week for an oil change and alignment.Great service. I only have wonderful things to say about them. My only regret is that I didnt go to them sooner!

I been coming to HG for years. Back when they were a hour away from me. Now they are much closer to me so it makes it more convenient for me. Lord knows I dont have the most exotic or expensive car in this shop, but that didnt change a single thing with the care and attention I received. Took in my 2005 e55 amg for a noise coming from the front wheel and they told me its the tire making the noise what a joke never bringing my car here again. if someone cared about your car they will find the problem but i guess they dont care about everyone

Awesome group of professional and knowledgeable car guys. All sorts of motorsport performance upgrades, tuning, customizing, and installation done in house. Pretty impressive setup. Also, the shop is usually cleaner than some of the restaurants in San Diego!

I went there to get a software upgrade on my vw gti, finally went stage 2.. i drove 2 hours to get there but let me say this IT WAS WORTH IT.. these guys were really cool and their shop was super nice...im totally going back if i need anything.
