It was much easier than leaving the car at Mercedes all day, arranging for a loaner car, dealing with checking the car in and then waiting around for the car when it was ready. Highly recommend.

I had an engine light come on and was not sure what it was for. I took my Boxster in to European Autotech to have it checked out. I dropped off my car to get a quote. Robert and Chris were very timely in getting back to me regarding a heating valve that was leaking. They also noticed that I had some lights out and fixed those as well. I left my car overnight and it was repaired the next day. After a week, they followed up to see how my car was doing! This was my first visit, but it will not be my last! I would definitely recommend them!

Was referred to European Autotech for a diagnostic of my Mini Cooper and so glad I was!The check engine light was on for months and other mechanics could not figure out the cause.I called Chris and Rob and was immediately impressed with the responsiveness, communication and knowledge. This was my first time using European Autotech and I had a great experience! If you have a Porsche (or other European vehicle), I wouldnt hesitate to bring it here. I brought in my 997 for an alignment and oil change and they did great work and also did really well keeping me updated on the car. That is definitely not something you often see.Also, they did very well making me feel safe as it relates to COVID. Masks were worn, sanitized pens, minimized contact, etc... No need to put off your service!They definitely earned a loyal customer!

Had my 2015 range rover sport serviced by Chris and Robert, check engine light was on. They were very professional, very honest and very thorough. They ended up changing an O2 sensor and that cured the problem . I appreciate them following up a few days later to make sure everything was still running well. I work on cars as a hobby mostly muscle cars so I’m pretty familiar with everything in a vehicle ... and how to fix it.....( and know when I need a pro to take care of a problem:) These guys knew what they were doing and were 100% Honest (which is not always the case when working with independent shops). I highly recommend them.

I have been to European Autotech on three separate occasions during the last two years for my 1984 Carrera. Each time the work was completed timely and throughly. Chris did an excellent job diagnosing problems with the car on the first visit. All I can say is that European Autotech is my 911’s shop in the future.

I’ve had many tires mounted at European Autotech and never had any shake or vibrations. Also had a 4 wheel alignment and the car feels new again.

I had Chris and the team install a used transaxle from his inventory in my Porsche. I supplied factory clutch parts which the team installed as well. Chris offered a 2 year warranty on a used transaxle. It’s a huge value that he is willing to stand behind a used component that is known to be problematic in this era Porsche. Dropped my car off for what I was bracing myself for a expensive trip. But to my surprise was super cheap and totally easy. Robert told me that it wasn’t nearly as a bad as I thought and required a simple fix and some monitoring after. I will absolutely return to this shop.

So, Ive been bringing my cars to European Autotech since about 2002. First it was a BMW 740, and now its a 1985 Porsche 911. With both cars, Chris and his team did a wonderful job fixing any issues I had, as well as providing excellent routine service and maintenance. There are not many people in the area who can service air-cooled Porsches, but Chris really knows his stuff, and I trust him completely to take care of my precious vintage Carrera. I most recently had my 911 serviced last week, and they took me in with very little notice, and got the car back to me in one day so that I could meet some other obligations I had. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, great communicators -- what else could you ask for? Oh, the pricing is very reasonable too. I recommend European Autotech to anyone who has a European car, particularly if you have an air-cooled Porsche.

I brought my car to them, from a reference that was given to me by a friend. My car had been stalling while I was driving with no noticeable warning. My car first was taken to the VW dealership and it stayed there for three weeks and they told me that they did not know what was wrong with it. So I picked it up.European Autotech had my car for about 2 1/2 weeks and within that time frame was consistently working on my car to find the problem and stayed in contact with me the whole time through phone and email. They found the problem and fixed it I’ve never had a shop to be so diligent and hard-working to find a problem on my car like this one. They definitely have my business as long as I have my VW. Excellent - bit pricey but I’m sure a lot less than the dealership. Chris and Shane contacted me and provided update and recommendation as to what needs to be done and what can wait. This was my dad’s MB. My dad usually complain about the cost but he was so happy with the work, he didn’t say anything about the cost. Just smiled and told me it drives like brand new. If you have an European car and want to get the job done right, I highly recommend.

UPDATE TO RESPONSE FROM OWNER:That is a lie. I told you the car had been recently serviced only when I asked you for the diagnostic codes that you did not supply. I NEVER said that the plugs and coils had been recently replaced (they hadnt) which you would have know if you had actually performed the services you claim.*I* did the research, ordered new plugs and coils, and corrected the problem.Do the right thing and refund my card.***************************************************************************AVOID. $318 to tell me the engine sounds bad. No attempt to get to the root cause, make recommendations, or provide diagnostics. The problem was actually resolved with new plugs and coils which they would have known if they had bothered to actually take it apart and work on it.

First time trying European Autotech. Had heard through the grapevine that it was a shop that could be trusted. Turns out to be very true. Excellent service! Had the front brakes done and had the check engine light diagnosed. They found a faulty sensor that they replaced and a second potential issue that turned out not to be a problem. Everything completed in one day. When I came to pick up my car Chris noted a repair that needs to be completed with one of the lights yet isnt urgent. He quoted me a price and suggested he could do the work the next time I was in. I loved the fact that they dont try to upsell I will definitely continue to use them to service my Mercedes. Prices are reasonable and they are more convenient than driving to Walnut Creek.

I have a small garage full of cars and these guys have worked on everything from basic services to intricate electrical issues for all my cars, including my Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, BMW, and Infiniti...as well as my Wifes Lexus and my daughters Mini Cooper.
