We visited Big 5 while only curb side pick up was available during the pandemic. We needed some fishing gear for our soon to be 8 year old grandsons birthday. We had a tackle box but nothing else. We looked online and put together a somewhat iffy list. The gentleman that helped us was the Manager who put together a basket of weights, hooks, bait and other items perfectly suited to our needs. We didnt give him much to work with but he was great. Thank you!! P.S. I have shopped at this store for years and it truly has an amazing assortment of stuff.

Well organized store has most everything that you could be looking for excellent for those last minutes emergency pick up something before heading out for a weekend trip or sporting event helpful staff without being over burdensome the sell fishing licenses and the store owner is always enjoyable to talk too. Very good assortment of fishing camping and sporting equipment all at very good prices.

Manager closed doors prior to 7:00 PM when they listed the store would close. Arrived far prior to close and the manager who has been there for years didn’t even acknowledge anyone at the front.

Extremely helpful staff, my nephew plays soccer and i personally know nothing about the sport, i asked a worker what were some cool training products and sports gear for soccer, they assisted me for about 25 minutes and helped me get several things for him, he loved them all.

The person was very helpful, the size we were looking was not in that store, he called San Ramon store and we bought in San Ramon. I love to consider buying in this store

Same as all of the other Big 5s that I have been to. Nice staff but they didnt know where to find everything. We had to go in the back and help them find the pop up tent that we were looking for.

They carry my favorite slippers. Plus its a great place for me to pick up other sporting items.

I went to Big 5 to look for a portable fan driven off of an Apple iPhone. They had it and it was only $4.99.

I came in looking for hiking socks, which I did not find. However, this store has a wider selection of athletic swimwear than I expected.

The store was clean but nobody around to ask questions to. The cashiers were chit chatting and completely ignored us when it was time to check out.

Used to shop at Big 5 often. They may not have the best selection but usually have better prices than other chains
