I just love Honeyberry!! They have the best Nutella Roti Bun in the whole of Bay Area. Its crispy on the outside and fluffy inside and has the right amount of sweetness. I have been here several times and the staff has been nice and friendly every single time. Definitely recommended if you have a sweet tooth.
I liked the Matcha Bingsu but hated having to assemble the bingsu myself. Everything came on a platter with all the topping on the side except the gelato. The gelato was sitting on top of the ice.... I didnt understand why they did this... I guess it was an attempt to keep the gelato cold? Do they usually have the customer assemble the bingsu? Having to assemble the bingsu myself made it messy and almost unpicture worthy. In terms of service, the cashier was nice and helpful. The store itself was fair sized, clean, and had seating a couple feet apart.Overall, I would come back if they changed how they serve the bingsu. I would also like to try something new.
DELICIOUS desserts and a great aesthetic!! their ice cream has an incredible consistency and they serve a variety of foods and drinks. the desserts are slightly expensive in price, but in my opinion they are worth what theyre sold for. there are plenty of tables and the chairs are very comfortable with their flexible backs. i would absolutely come here again and try signature desserts or smoothie ice blends.
This is a wonderful place for both small bites, and a late night sweet tooth. The roti buns are easily the best part here, they’re warm, soft, crunchy, and sweet, the perfect combination for a baked treat. If that’s not what you want, they have a vast line of drinks, ice creams, and rather interesting desserts that’ll keep you experimenting every time you inevitably come back.Overall, a nice little place to go to for nearly every occasion you may have.
Came here 3 days in a row to get a plain Roti bun. Each day they were sold out…on their most basic product. Pretty frustrating when you are waiting in a line and find out as you approach the register.3 days in a row is probably bad luck, but the issue is actually far more simple, the manager of this store constantly short staffs. This result in the 2 people working having to deal with a rush of people all on their own and falling behind, running out of things, and becoming frustrated.I gave them 1 star for the food and 1 star for the workers being hard workers.Their manager is a trash can of a human to leave his workers to handle all that. Step up your game management.
Their products are good give them 4 stars. Sadly they had 2 old Asian guys In the store, without masks, the whole time I was in the store.
Hot buns which you will not forget from your childhood if you’re missing it this is the place where you can have the original one followed with the dark chocolate and as well as the white chocolate the place is crowded on and off this is an excellent place to hang out to get other frozen desserts and as well as the hot coffee selections make a visit you will enjoy
Its good. No great, for a hot summer day. Desserts are hearty and will not leave much to be desired.
Honeyberry has some unique items on the menu. Do not miss having Roti Bun when you visit this place. It is super light and different from any other bun that you may have. I also tried Mocha Affogato and it turned out to be super good. The overall vibe of this place is nice and a good spot for late night dessert.
LOVE the roti buns!!! Soooo gooood!
I love this place. They are so very nice and the bread buns they have are so good. Every time i am in the Bay Area i make it a point to go and order the bread buns and take some back home to my son. We just love them. If youve never had them i recommend you go and try them.
A pretty standard dessert place with very sweet dishes and a pretty casual ambiance. We got the shaved ice with condensed milk and red bean and mochi and gelato. The dish was good to share with 4 people and we went through it pretty fast. The food wasn’t too impressive but it wasn’t too bad either. Wouldn’t come out of my way to come again.
It took 15 mins for them to attend my order and 35 mins to make my order, even though it wasn’t busy. I even had to go remind them that I ordered beforehand. But, the food was overall pretty good and well priced.
Came here for the first time yesterday and enjoyed myself! Even before going inside there is a sweet smell coming from the place, so you know it’s going to be good, at least from the sugary side! Got the honey and almond shaved yogurt ice (something like that) and it was looking pretty good, had a lot of things going on in the dessert. Took a spoon full and was in awe wit the flavors that was in it and the shaved ice was so fluffy it was as it wasn’t even there!Great place to get something cold to eat or if your wanting some dessert, worth a visit to try it out!
I ordered a thai tea and they used expired cream. So it tasted less then satisfactory.
The boba or pearl tea here is absolute gold !So i felt like having boba at 10:30 pm and this generous place closes at 11 pm.So most famous is okkinawa Which is caffeine free(i can vouch for it)The okkinawa is a unique flavor with coffee cochlear type (must try)The pearls or boba at honey berry is really soft and chewy, i loved playing with them in my mouth before eating them, also if you leave them in the tea for a while they absorb flavor and sweetness, thus actually taste much better.Unlike other places where boba feels like of silicon really which I usually just gulp before biting.Another lovely feature is the bun( i had these in singapore and japan) and was surprised to see them in Bay Area.I had the butter and as expected it was super tasty !All in must try this spot 5/5 for the tea and bun.
Its a lovely snack/coffee/ice cream place. Highly recommend the Roti Buns here. The chocolate butter one is my go-to
We love matcha shaved ice and golden toast.
If you have a sweet tooth and love hanging out with friends, Honeyberry is the place. It’s a unique dessert place serving variety of shakes, teas, cakes, ice creams etc. To not overwhelm their customers with too many options, they have very few speciality desserts, probably about 10, with pictures on one side of the menu.Food: Shaved Ice is a must try dessert, with shaved ice topped with Lychee syrup, fruits (mostly banana, kiwi and straws) and flavored yogurt. It’s simple yet tasty. Matcha Choco cake is a chocolate cake topped with rich creamy Matcha icecream, I loved it. Last but not the least, a must try specially if you love cinnamon is their Churro topped with Icecream, crunchy warm base and sweet creamy cold top, freakingly delicious it was. Trust me, it’s seductively tasty. I’m sure to go there often!! Oh, forgot to mention about their honey dew boba tea, it’s like nectar.Service: It’s a self service place, the staff are pretty nice.Ambience: It’s a clean, small, noisy place, mainly for friends. Its not a kid friendly place.Price: It’s definitely not pricey, but not cheap either. I would give a $$.UPDATE: Theyve added more flavors to Shaved Ice.
This spot is delicious! Their Mango Shaved Ice is so refreshing and delicious. We visited yesterday and had to come back today. Maybe we will stop by tomorrow to try their waffles and other treats. 😂
A friend and I went to this place on a whim, as we were craving some frozen yogurt. When we arrived, I was surprised to see the plethora of dessert items they had, from shaved ice to frozen yogurt to even boba, they had all the dessert item you can imagine. We decided to get gelato and I ordered the cookies and cream and Oreo gelato. The cookies and cream was surprising good as it had actually cookie crumbs, which many places dont have. They also have speciality dessert items that are unique and I havent seen anywhere else.I would definitely recommend this place as it offers so many dessert options that not only taste great, but are also at a fair price. My friend and I will definitely come back for more!
Non diary iced boba tea. Refreshing. Small place. Clean.
Its my go to place when I am craving for gelato. Lately they have been making roti buns, which are my favorite too. The only disappointing thing is they close at 8pm these days due to covid restrictions
Really nice place. Not a vast selection of food or drinks, but a decent amount for the place. Their specialty desserts were pretty unique. Especially The Spring desert. A dessert that served to you as a potted plant. Its really cute. And from what my fiance thought. It was pretty good. Its so unique that we didnt know how you are supposed to eat such a dessert. So she winged it and it gotten eaten. I will visit again if I am nearby.
Best waffle ice cream 🍦😋
Love their new menu
In hawaii we say ono
You gotta come to honey berry, their products are very consistent, gotta give them credit for that. No matter which branch I go to, I get the same taste I always expect, delicious! My go to: honey milk tea and cream cheese buns.. yummy.
Their dessert is bomb!! Many great menu choices and the store is very clean. Love this place!
This was surely a one time experience. My friend and I ordered desserts, which were very fancy (hers came in a plant pot and were decorated with dirt and rocks.)Even though the display was very fancy, the dessert was overpriced and not that tasty. I found the matcha lava cake to be very sweet and dense, while my friend found her planted pot dessert to be too sweet for her taste too. These reviews are solely based on the desserts we order, not the boba.
Great desserts! Nice people and great customer service.
Kind & nice even during pandemic safe in place period.
The flavors were pretty good. I had honey dew milk tea with no sugar. It was too sweet for me. But if you have a major sweet tooth, you would love it.
Service is not good thanks to Susan. She was on her phone for a good 5 minutes before she took my order. Other than that, the boba was great. She needs to be fired.
Good shaved ice. I go there for a desert only after a heavy dinner. Good place to hang out with buddies. Open late I believe.
Honeydew shake with lychee is awesome. Other options such as roti buns and cookie monster are also nice
It was really good when the dessert maker put in two gummi worms and filled the mini pot with milk tea and the dessert was full of fruit and moist when we went earlier in the week on Tuesday. When I went today on Saturday, it was dry with only one gummi worm and a not even half filled pot of milk tea. Boo! Todays dessert maker was not good at all and I would never go back if the same one is there again preparing my dessert.
Wow !Perfect place for a delicious desert when pampering yourself, celebrating, or on a special date.
Snacks much tastier than expected - maybe more of an alternative cafe, with unusual and delicious options. More seating than was in use at the odd hour I visited.Would like taro tea, or at least more noncaffeinated options.
Ive been visting this place for more than two years. All their items are decently priced. I would recommend their chocolate butter bun.
This is my second time, out of boba so has to wait 30mins.They should prepare these basic topping.Bun needs to wait 10 mins.
The bingsu or shaved ice here has some resemblance to korea. The almond powder flavor reminded me much of it. The layering was not impressive though. The powder fades once you finish the top layer and the condense milk they offer is usually all the way at the bottom. On the other hand, the roti buns are one of a kind come back for here. Drinks are average. Some are good. Some is like sugar flavored water.
So. Good. I wish I had a place like this near home
Definitely worth a visit to try their roti buns.
Pretty good spot for some boba. They use the chubby cups for the large size so that is a fun plus. The screens up front don’t actually have the menu on them, you have to walk up to the counter to grab a menu.
This place is a scam. First, they make you pay to put in less ice and they also give you an uneven amount of the boba tea in each bottle. They also put way less boba balls than any other boba tea shop.
Really like the ice cream collections they offer. Really love the ice creams too! Must go.
Expensive. Blase service. Just want your money. Roti buns are delicious, but expensive. Essentially, a more finessed jelly-filled donut@3x the price!
Cream cheese and Nutella Roti bun are fabulous. 😄
Really great place, could use a bigger selection of ice cream flavors, but the specials are great.
Creative deserts. Not very well maintained but we enjoyed our treats.
I will give them 5 if they had gotten my order right. But the Golden Toast is lovely and taste good.
Cleanliness of the place stood out to me. Super delish desserts!
Very cool place to grab some tea/coffee and sweets. Can get loud when groups of people come in. But everyone is having a good time so its cool.
Fresh Roti buns are the best! I dont usually get cravings for places, but Ive been back just for the buns. Not as fan of their ice cream though. I like thick, creamy Ive cream. Theirs is fluffy and artificial flavored. The green tea actually tastes like jasmine tea, so dont order it expecting matcha or youll be disappointed.
Great for a hot day. Tasty drinks and sweet creamy ice cream. Lots of toppings too. Lots of choices on the menu.
Really cool place...my daughter it now!
First time visit. Tried Plain roti bun sandwich. Really fresh and tasty. As it has eggs, my wife could not try it.Price: ReasonablePlace: Nice environmentAttendants: Helpful while picking from menuCleanliness: Good
Great ice cream, usually get a banana split with the family.
Uber delicious sundae ice-cream
Best buns I ever had. You have to eat it hot. The butter one taste better than the cream cheese one. I will go to try their plain one later.
Roti bun was finished so we got a to go of their most popular golden toast.
Love the roti buns over here. Have been having them for past 3 years and they are so consistent in their taste and texture.. the gelatos are pretty good too. Green tea gelato is really good. Hazelnut is famous too.
Understaffed. There was a rush and they simply missed our order. We were waiting for 20 minutes watching other people who came after us get their order.
Good assortment of flavors but the service isnt good.
Cool spot for snack, dessert or just a treat. Make sure you try a roti bun. They have coffee, tea drinks and other stuff as well.
Matcha milk tea was good.
I love ice cream, and this place is AMAZING! I love their soft serve! I usually get the soft serve tart yogurt wild berries. Its sooo delicious!
The gelato had ice crystals, didnt like it.
Roti bun when fresh out of the oven is awesome.
Not sugary. But good with various signature desserts
The desserts were really unique and so good!
One of the few place which is open until midnight. Cute little place. Very clean and bright ambience. There is wide variety of specialties on the menu which can be tried here. We have been here to have something simple and chosen scoops of Caramel Mochiato and Almond Vanilla Choco Chip. Toppings were simple yet carefully chosen. We liked the varieties of popping boba available here. Mango, Passion Fruit filled popping boba. Addition to that we opted for lychee topping. Additional charges for toppings. Atleast one topping should have been included in the price. Will definitely come back.
I love the delicious roti bun of this place. It serves as great accompaniment with coffee or tea.
Tasty deserts..:)Best time for late night desert and ice cream.
A really fun dessert and coffee shop. There is a small wait, but that is because things are made and prepped fresh. I enjoyed the boba tea and the churro bowl. I think size matches the price. Some items are quite large and shareable. I didnt get the roti buns but they are clearly a hit and freshly baked all day long. That will be my next treat, for sure!
Tasty, but the service was just a tiny bit confusing to me. We had a good time either way!
Love their bubble tea and roti bun :) Great place for a late night casual hangout with friends or family..
This place is nice and clean. Its never too busy when I go whether it is during the day or at night. The staff is very friendly and provide great customer service. The roti buns are always delicious not matter what flavor we get. The milk tea drinks are on the sweeter heavier side, but I still get it when Im in there to help wash down the roti buns. For the price that I pay, its always worth coming in when Im in the neighborhood.
Try the Roti bun. Or better still try the Roti burger with your favorite flavor of ice cream.Dont think about the name or analyse what is it, just go for it. You will thank yourself for trying it.
Great service and delicious gelato/special French toast!
How have I not written a review for these roti buns yet?! They are like drugs for me. I find myself feening for these if I havent had them in a while... especially if they had just come out of the oven.. lolThe butter with chocolate chips on top is my ultimate favorite and always get.. BUT, I will order, in addition, whatever they have coming fresh out of the oven too. :D
