Employees are helpfully, good quality produce at a great price, seafood dept on point (petty pack) you can order fish and they will clean it and cook it for you. Asian pantry items are ok. Over all I recommend this supermarket.🎉

I found Everything I needed and more. They really improved product variety and availability! I love how organized everything is 😃. Keep up the great work 👍🏼👍🏼. Note: bagger will not bag my items using my own bags. Probably because of COVID. Hope this changes. I would hate to think that they bag only with the ones they sell.

I love this corner of the store. You can figure out why if youve been here before. Plus, on the other side they always have my favorites, ube, plantain, & saba in stock. I appreciate that they went out of their way with the decors, makes the shopping experience enjoyable for me.

The salesperson in the cooked food area lied to me. When I asked how much the small pancit malabon she said $4.50, so I ordered two small. When she run the bill she charged me $5.25 each. When I asked why she said it was the tax. Evidently she does not want to admit her mistake so she gave a plausible excuse. The tax was shown clearly as a separate item .

First time at this Filipino market and for the first look I can say it’s better then Seafood City 😂. The decor and layout is clean and simple but modern. You don’t walk in to the smell of fish. The food is really good and the price is decent. Looks organize and very clean.

First they are selling Parrot fish. This is a keystone species that is the reason you a beautiful sandy beach. They are on the verge of being out on the endangered species list. That alone is enough to make me never shop there again. Second. The fish was not really fresh. The seafood we bought all tastes for lack of a better word. Fishy.

Very Expensive $$$ (to me)... lobster $20 per pound (they only sell the whole lobster)and the one she pointed out was a 4 pounder🤯× two hungry adults plus what comes with the meal deal, were talking close to two bills($200) for our meal. The lobby is closed they want you to sit out in the mini mall area lol 😆. Im just reporting what happened to us today, Im not trying to discourage anyone especially if you got the cheese to pay their prices.

Idk the name of the largest diner in their food court but the owner needs to check how they handle the menu for taste. Plus the prices were extremely high when their dishes werent made with flavor. Nilaga had no flavor plus we found a piece of metal wool in one of our foods ordered from them.

This place is great but I dont understand how they dont have ingredients for Korean dishes such as powders and pastes. I asked the gentleman who worked there and he said they had neither of the two items I was looking for in order to make kimchi.Otherwise, their food selection is great (except theres limited steak and a ton of pork which isnt surprising). The oxtail is priced perfectly for the amount that you get in one pack. Certainly worth stopping in! Love that they have live blue crab 🦀 and whole red snapper 🎣 along with the small calamari 🦑.

This is by far one of the best grocery stores. Its a Filipino grocery store with an open fish market style in the back, restaurant in the front, Cafe, and walk up dining too. With a wide array and unique selection of food, this is a great way to dive into a rich culture and come out with something new.The staff is wonderful and very helpful, the fish is fresh, and the meat selection houses meats you just cant get everywhere. They will also cook or clean the seafood for you for free too! Prices are pretty average in comparison to other supermarkets.

Stopped at this place since I dont have enough reason to go into LA where theres a 99 Ranch. I found almost everything I needed. I thought the fish market was very nice and well laid out with the fish section away from the counter. Its not really a substitute for 99 Ranch since their primary clientele is Filipino, but its a nice place to stock up on the essentials.

Finally a Filipino supermarket in the SCV! No more drives to the San Fernando Valley to buy groceries or Filipino food. Its right here in SCV.The supermarket features a fast food restaurant called Phil House. They have a great selection on food items like BBQ, Lechon, Pancit and other popular items. The supermarket is still in the beginning phases. I think more food vendors will be added to their food court in the future.

I am glad they are here in SCV. My preferred brown rice, Manila mangoes, frozen lumpia shanghai, Philippine-branded soy sauce, vinegar and fish sauce are some of the grocery items that I can rely Island Pacific to have. This is the largest Asian market in the SCV, with a focus on Philippine products. It currently has 2 eateries inside (although it had as many as 6 pre-COVID) in addition to its market. There is also a Goldilocks bakery inside.Crab Mentality is a play on words with the mindset to bring down those who have climbed the ladder of success (crabs will try to pull down those who have climbed up in an attempt to pull themselves up). My family went there a few times before COVID; the food is great but it can get expensive so we dont eat there too often. They will cook up fresh seafood (mainly shrimp and crab) that you eat at your table over butcher/wax paper (because it can get messy fast). They also offer lobster, fish and shellfish. The other eatery is a point point joint -- you point to what you want (with either your finger or your lips, if youre so inclined... of course verbal requests are also fine). We come here at least once a week, as its affordable and ready to eat. They offer the common variety of Filipino dishes but specialize with grilled foods. And this is one of the few places that offer goat (kambing) if youre into it. You can sometimes see them grilling the food right at the front as you wait in line. The market has a wide assortment of Asian vegetables and products that you wont find in the mainstay supermarkets like Ralphs or Vons. So youll find more varieties of rice, certain meat products that you wont anywhere else. The prices are consistent with other Filipino markets in the area - and unfortunately there arent many others unless you choose to make the trip deeper into LA County. Aside from Island Pacific, the only other chain is Seafood City, which is nowhere close to SCV.Goldilocks is a major bakery chain in the Philippines. Currently when I am able to go to the market (evenings), its usually closed (while the rest of the market is open). Maybe its due to COVID? The market offers a few baked goods from local vendors but they dont offer the cakes, pies, or other sweets that Goldilocks does. My familys favorite is the egg pie.If youre Filipino, you probably already know about the place, especially if youre cooking Filipino. But if youre not, but still interested in tasting Filipino food or sampling some products from the Philippines here in the Santa Clarita Valley, this is the place to go!
