Dr. Sun is an excellent optometrist and I am so glad I found Sunshine Optometry! Last Saturday I woke up and my eye was very swollen, itchy, and painful and this office was able to fit me in for an appointment. Dr. Sun did a comprehensive exam and was able to prescribe me the right medication that helped my eye feel better right away. Dr. Sun is very experienced and knowledgeable and compassionate. I am so grateful to Dr. Sun and the whole office! And I will definitely continue to go to Sunshine Optometry for all of my eye care needs!

Came to Sunshine optometry for an eye exam and very pleased I did. Located in a shopping plaza, its very convenient and lots of close and available parking. Front desk staff was very friendly and helped me right away, I had some short paper work to do, 10 mins in I was already having my pretest done. Dr. Dan and Dr. Sun were very professional and easy to talk to. Found a pair of glasses and sunglasses in their nice wide selection. Very clear with breakdown on costs and got a great deal.

First time here and i loved how quick, and easy my appointment was. The optometrist was so sweet and kind. Very professional!

I’ve been going to Sunshine for several years, and the staff have always provided the best care. I have two insurance policies to use for optometrists - one with Kaiser and the other with VSP - and I’ve always preferred coming here. I had a detached retina and my Kaiser optometrist blew me off but the optometrist at Sunshine took the time to listen to my complaints/concerns and take them seriously. After my surgery at Kaiser, once again they blew me off and failed to provide supportive aftercare. So I went back to Sunshine because I knew they would help. The optometrist and supportive staff spent an inordinate amount of time answering my questions and providing reassurance and education. I am so grateful for them! If you want the best eye care in Santa Clarita, come see them!

Friendly professional staff, they have a huge selection of high end frames at great prices. Dr.Sun did this thing with a magnifying glass, she looked into my eyes with it and knew what was going on. It was awesome. I didnt know you could measure stress and other health issues like that. Posting cat for no reason.

We scheduled an appointment because my wife now has night blindness post LASIK surgery and we need a note for her employer. Driving at night can be dangerous for her. She sees blurs and halos.Her employer is requiring a doctors verification.We made our appointment with Dr. Salmasi for an exam, mind you, and subsequently get a doctors note.But Salmasi questioned my wifes ethics asking for a letter. She claimed LASIK doesnt cause night blindness and said she had no way to verify this.Im not sure why theyd have my wife come in for an appointment if this (night blindness) isnt verifiable. We told the front desk what our appointment was about and they literally asked another doctor prior to booking the appointment.During the visit, I had my wife put me on speaker to chat with the doctor and as I was speaking, Salmasi walked out of the room.When she returned, I cited other doctors online who have illustrated instances of night blindness, halos, etc. post LASIK surgery. Salmasi said to me:Then you should go to them.I dont know if its youth, inexperience, or maybe both, but Dr. Salmasi is uninformed, apathetic and could use a much better bedside manner.Theyve lost our familys business.

I was trying to swap my old lenses to my new frame, theyre identical frames and plastic. It was supposed to be easy, but after spending the better half of a day trying I decided to call a professional.The doctors at Sunshine Optometry did the swap for me in just a few minutes. The price they gave me cant be beat!! Im glad I called them. :)

The staff is great, especially the lady that fits you with your glasses. However, when the office transitioned to Sunshine I was not aware until I arrived for my appointment. My husband came with me due to having my eyes dilated. Once I got them dilated I was told it would be 10 minutes before I would be called back in. 45 minutes later after sitting in the bright waiting room was I finally called back. There was never any communication stating that the couple in the office decided last minute to get contact lenses. So my 20 minutes appointment turned into an hour and a half. If I had been informed, I may not have stayed. Because of this my family and I will not return, nor would I recommend this optometrist.

They are asking 40$ if you missed 1 appointment... Its ridiculous..👎👎👎

This doctor of optometry has been in the Valencia area since the 1980s and has quite a loyal following. The reason? Excellent and personal patient care. The office is a bit small but nice and clean and well stocked with designer frames. Dr. Zeltser does his own pre tests and is very thorough . He also does not rush you through your exam. The staff is always friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I work in the optical field and I go see him. How is that for loyalty? By the way, his short jokes are a treat!

My husband and I recently moved to the Valencia area. After viewing several optometrists in the area. I was very pleased that we did see Dr. Zeltser his knowledgeand expertise was to admired he made us feel very comfortable and I knew I was in excellent hands. His staff is very warm and knowledgeable I would recommend Dr. Zeltser very highly.

I felt totally at ease with my visit. Everyone was so expedient, pleasant and helpful, especially the optometrist. Looking forward to my next visit.

Hes kind, patient, knowledgeable, very clear in all his explanations, prices are well within reach, his staff handles complicated insurance questions. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

I went there to get my glasses adjusted yesterday and he burned my lenses. The heat was set too high when he was trying to adjust the frames the lenses melted and are ruined. He tried to tell me the lenses were like that before. Dont go here.
