I’ve had Richards Appliance out to my house a number of times for appliance warranty issues and repairs. Fantastic service would recommend!

I wish i could give 0 stars. Richard came out to repair my ice maker in my samsung refrigerator. He came and looked at it, said he will have to order the part and will call to set up a time to come out. A week or so later he shows up without calling during the worst time of the day. Me wanting to get it fixed let him do it. I wasnt prepared so i had to do some shuffling of items to make room, he was very upset he had to wait for this to happen. He was rude and didnt like to communicate about anything. He was very loud and messy. He didnt have any paperwork for my to keep for my records and he left a mess inside and outside of the fridge. He also left some scratches in my fridge. I will never ever recommend doing service with him. Very unpleasant, dirty and pretty much hates his job and the quality of work shows.

Our Samsung fridge went out (compressor) and after it was misdiagnosed by another repair service Richard came and took care of it very professionally. Richard and Mary are good people and provided very good service.

We purchased a used Viking refrigerator from Richard. After taking delivery we noticed the water line was damaged. Richard had a replacement part shipped to us. Great customer service!

Service person came out today to look at my Samsung dryer because the drum hadnt been turning all the time. This occurred two times before I called in for the warranty repair. At the time he arrived, it was working properly. He started and stopped it and said it was working fine and left. He didnt make any further inspection on it. Later that same day, I start the dryer and it fails to work. Totally disappointed in this service. Youd think hed at least have looked into what could have been causing it to not work. Now that its done it again, I have to call on the warranty again. Hope they send someone better.

Richard was very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He worked efficiently on my high end LG appliances. I have 2 new black stainless steel appliances that needed repairs. LG was very accommodating and hired Richard to come out and replace the electrical panels. Hes a local businessman who has been serving the central coast for over 2 decades. He runs this company with his wife and son. I highly recommend and would happily use again. Thank you Richard for a job well done and going above and beyond!!

Stopped by looking for a washing machine to replace my failing Whirlpool Cabrio toploader. Was greeted by Richard and shown what he had on hand. Was shown a couple toploaders, but I was not impressed with either one. He had a lot of front loaders. Which I really was interested in. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a white front loader sitting all by itself, still dirty and covered in tape residue. It just so happened to be a LG. which Ive heard are some of the best machines. After talking to Richard, he worked me put a fantastic deal if I would clean it up myself. Looking forward to putting in a little spit and polish, and getting it home and putting it to good use! Thanks Richard for the great deal! Looking forward to doing business with you again.

Came out arrive early to fix my brand new Samsung washer and said he would order the part and be back in a couple weeks when it was in. Came back out yesterday and started pulling it apart got a few pieces off and said I can’t do this which pulling stuff apart he was break pieces at the same time. Started a load and it was stuck on wash. I am so mad. I don’t recommend them or the guy I had. And he didn’t say much either.

I got an appointment in one day. He showed up on time and fixed my washer in 10 minutes all for the cost of a service call. It was amazing! You should call these guys if you need appliance repair. They we fast, knowledgeable and they didnt rip me off.

When Richard heard that our refrigerator had lost all power he immediately asked me if the food was spoiled yet. When I told him that it was still cold but I was completely out of power he interrupted a busy day came over within a few minutes and installed a loaner circuit board so that we would not lose the contents of our frig and freezer. He was back at the end of the same day with my circuit board repaired and the fuse type changed so that if it happens again I can just pop in the spare fuse that he left me. Very thoughtful and nice man. Very reasonably priced. We couldnt be happier.

Richard repaired my Samsung dryer with no issues. He was on time, professional, courteous, and even though the repair was covered by warranty, he wouldnt even accept a tip, stating he was just glad to be if service.Highly recommended his services, honest quality is hard to find, but Richard makes it easy!

I had Richard come out and install my slide in range, my new kitchen aid dishwasher and my kitchen aid micro hood. He did a great job and did it fast plus he hauled away everything. I would call him out again if I need any of my appliances to be installed or worked on.

Just wanted to tell you about our experience with Richards Appliance and the install of our new Samsung 42 buil-in super fridge. Richard and his son, Richard, arrived when they said they would. They worked non-stop from 11am to 5:30pm on this very new complex smart appliance. They were wonderful. Polite. Cleaned up entirely. And couldnt have been more pleasant. They now have us as customers for any appliance install or repair needs.

This company came recommended so I scheduled an appointment a week in advance to have my washer repaired. However, the morning of the repair no one showed up within the 2 hour window. I called 45 minutes later only to learn that they were really busy and would try to come later in the afternoon. I was told they would check to see if they had a part in stock and call me back within 10 minutes. However, an hour later I still had not received a phone call back so I called to let them know I had made an appointment with another repair company. While they are certainly one of the least expensive companies they definitely dont have appropriate customer service. I would spend your money and time elsewhere!

Due to a power outage in the neighborhood, the resultant surge when the power came back caused the fuse on my refrigerator circuit board to fail. It was on a Saturday and I called Richards because they had installed all my appliances a few years ago. Richard came Saturday evening, did a temporary fix on the circuit board then returned a few days later to take the board to be fixed. He was always courteous, and called to keep me posted. Because of his response I did not lose any of the foods I had in my refrigerator or freezer section. Very efficient and knows his business. Highly recommended.

I had Richard come out and fix an oven for me. He got out to evaluate it and determine the problem quickly and because he knew a holiday was coming up he was able to get the part in within one business day. He identified the problem on Friday and had it fixed by Tuesday. Everything was up and running in a week with his help whereas another appliance repair shop took weeks and couldnt even properly diagnose the problem. I really appreciated Richards competence and that he genuinely seemed to care about getting me back up and running.

I have been using Richard for all my appliance repairs and installation for years now I would highly recommend him.He recently came out to look at my LG washer, I was having problems with it draining. He saved me hundreds of dollars because my husband and I almost went out to buy a new one but he diagnosed the problem immediately. Come to find out it wasn’t my washer but my water softener.Thank you Richard.

I scheduled an appointment and then received a call the day before asking if I could reschedule the appointment and I did. No one showed up and it was explained they were over booked. So I rescheduled again and was told I would be the first call they would handle and again no one showed up.

After missing a set appointment, he called me on my cell phone stating they left several messages that day on my work phone. There were no messages. He then stated he didnt have my cell phone. Wait, arent you calling me on my cell phone? Jiminy! I will never use.

Richard performed a warranty repair on our two year old Samsung refrigerator. He did an outstanding job initially diagnosing the problem, ordering parts (compressor and evaporator) and then installing and fixing my fridge. Not everyone can work successfully on Samsung refrigerators but Richard surely is expert in this area. Trust me, if he is busy you may doubt he is worth the wait - but he definitely is compared to another authorized Samsung repair shop in the area. He has earned this customers loyalty for a job well done. Thanks Richard!

The same thing happened as another customer, no one has shown up no calls, very bad customer service, to bad a good reputable company is sending them. We will contact samsung and request another company to come by.
