I do not recommend Straight Talk wireless service. Was a customer for a couple of years: service was adequate but there were quite a few dead areas, and sometimes data was really slow. When I needed to port my number to a new company, they put up barriers to the transfer. Their policies wasted 2 hours of my time.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Lost $3500 today because 30 minutes before business close I wasn’t able to make a call. Automated Response IVR is slow, has trouble understanding the English spoken word. The option to speak with a representative is never offered. Chat conversations are futile as the center handling responses have trouble understanding English writing. Finally got through to someone only to find that there was an update needed that required both a reboot in their end as well as a reboot on my end. Passed back and forth having to repeat myself several times. Asked to be compensated for lost revenue and time spent infuriated and was denied and hung up on.
