Had a slow leak in a tire on a rental vehicle, so rolled in to this location to see if they could fix it (on a Sunday). They were swamped, but a super nice technician took the time to change out my tire (full sized spare, because Jeep) and made sure we were good to go. He wouldnt even allow me to pay him. You can bet we are leaving a 5 star review. Wish I could do more to say thanks!

I have to say being away from home and getting an OIL TEMPERATURE warning is pretty scary - I was hesitant to call Firestone because the ones near where I live in Scottsdale AZ always tell me how busy they are and dont have time for me but I took a shot and called the Firestone in Santa Monica. Not only did they listen to me and tell me to come by they can top off my coolant etc. but they did it and didnt charge me? who does that anymore - what a wonderful place - I wish I lived closer to this Firestone I would always go to them because they are very neighborhood centric and care about their customers!!!

Came here last week Monday to get a patch on my front left Toyota Tundra tire. Most auto places close about 6 pm. I just finished work about 530 pm and I had to get this tire fixed. I called around and everywhere they told me it’s too late and they can’t do it.I called this Firestone on Lincoln blvd and spoke with Greg. I explained to him the situation and he told me to come over and he will do his best. When I arrived, Greg went to work right away. He got the patch on the tire. I put some air in it and all was good. I was helping a coworker out and she was able to get home to her family. Very grateful for Greg at this Firestone. This community is lucky to have him. Went to the first time wasnt disappointed the manager was excellent was a young gentleman knew what he was doing took his time explained everything to me nobody never done that before I was shocked you definitely have a new customer I recommend it to everyone thats not expensive as you think dont waste your time at those other places I went for a wheel alignment they did a great job on the freeway when I got up to about 55 my car starts shaking now I get up to 7075 nothing thanks to Firestone Ill be back

The person who answered the phone was rude and did not know anything about OBDII monitors that report not ready. I called the location near Santa Monica and Overland and the person who answered the phone was very friendly and knowledgable.Update from another visit in 2018-02: I had to take the initiative and call them to get the status of my car at least three different times when they said that they were going to call me. This was a pain.Update 2019-01 The person who usually takes my order for my car is very friendly.

This place is the best of the best. We have been taking our cars here the last 20 years. They have put air in our tires and/or changed a lightbulb without an appointment and no wait. For a part we needed to have replaced, in an effort to make it more affordable, they even suggested we would get the part elsewhere and just have them install it. Great and knowledge service you can trust.

Took my car in here to have a noise checked out that occurred in the braking system.They had me spend over $2600 and when I got the car back the noise was still there.I took it back and they held onto my car for four whole days. Never gave me updates. And when I came to pick the car up still wasn’t ready and I missed a restaurant reservation.I’ve been coming here for years but I never will again.

This place is efficient and is well deserved of a five star. Greg is amazing and managed six clients with ease. He deserves a raise and is definitely employee of the month. Great attitude and staff! Will come back and recommend this place to others.

I was driving down Lincoln blvd and heard something funny. Looked up auto mechanic and they showed right up. Brought my car in, turns out i just needed a new Air Filter. They took about 30 minutes to diagnose the issue and I was only my way in about 45 minutes! Thanks for being open and providing great service!

If I could give less than “0” stars I would. These place is understaffed and therefore their service is absolutely trash. They tell you they’re sorry for their bad doing and that you won’t be charged, then the charge shows in you credit card anyways and when you question them about it, they tell you that they never said they wouldn’t charge you!! Absolutely devastating to see businesses go bad this way. I hope the “owner” of this place is aware of the problems.

I had a flat tire that fix a flat would no longer hold over. I was met by the cashier who showed exceptional customer service. The tire guy helped me. It was a fast and easy process.

Poor communication and timing expectations, with technicians engaged in pet projects instead of helping customers. Strongly encourage any potential customers to drive down the street and find another option.

Everybody at this location is fantastic; theyre fast, friendly, and most importantly honest! They want whats best for your vehicle without trying to take more from your pocket. Alex was our service adviser and he was so helpful from beginning to end. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

My sister has relied on his help almost every month of the year (Not the best driver) and he has always come up with a solution that worked for us. I have been a service writer for 10 years in the automotive field. I am currently a service manager but i work with airplanes. I dropped my car off for front end rattling. I get a call a few hours later to tell me the vibration i am feeling is my tires and that they are so bad.... i was told I needed spark plugs and a battery cleaning as well....first off my spark plugs are due at 10 years 100,000 miles. My car is at 70,000 miles and less then 10 years. I told the guy at the counter exactly what was wrong with the vehicle twice and they told me both times its fine and i need tires. Took it to another shop and we all had a great laugh about how firestone told me they heard nothing and that my tires were the issue. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I really appreciate it and highly recommending to use their services . Seems they can also help with other issues, not only tires.

No one is wearing a mask except Greg. The pay stations are two feet apart, not six another customer was nose exposed mask wearer and I asked him to properly cover which he refused. No onein the shop backed me up. YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE

Great customer service, clean facility

On 4/272020 I was driving down Pico Boulevard traveling west toward Lincoln when I started to feel my car shaking. I rolled down the window and discovered that the rear tire on the passengers side was flat. As soon as I turned right onto Lincoln I saw Firestone Auto on the right. I was so relieved and happy to see that they were open.I limped my car slowly into their parking lot. I was treated so disrespectfully and so abrasively by the management. There were two men in the office but both seemed to be more concerned with having their lunch than with helping me. There was a man by the name of Alex Virula and another guy who said he was the manager but he said he never calls third party service plans to get authorization for payment. Even after I had the policy number, the name of the company, my VIN number and the telephone number of the claims department the manager said he still didnt know how to proceed. The service plan I have covers flat tires but the manager got very angry when I told him to call the claims department and present them with the estimate.He came out to my car while I was on the phone with my service provider and said you have to have it towed. I refused to accept his abuse and bullying. The only way I could get the tire fixed after all the time spent enduring their unprofessional behavior was to pay cash. And I shouldnt have had to because I have a wheel and tire plan that covers these types of repairs. But these arrogant managers couldnt take the time to call my plan provider.I left there in disgust and disbelief for how l was treated during this very stressful situation. I will be contacting Firestones corporate office to file a formal complaint. Yvette M.

Went in for an estimate for a tune up. Whoever waited me acted like he could care less. Sales people walked by me for at least 10 minutes without acknowledging me or saying hello, totally rude. I will NEVER take my car there

My name is Edgar Sosa I’m a new customer of you I work for a big company I bought 4 tires for my daughter new 2 tires new 4 for my co worker and when I went to talk to you guys on Tuesday at 10:05 that the time we went to get tires for my work I ask the guy that my daughter she had a problem and he said they’ll look at it so she did when my daughter came they didn’t wanna talk and let her know that she had to make an appointment to see the car the person it might only need air and it her first car I’m very disappointed in the situation please can you guys. I had an appointment at 10 and was told I’m next in line and it’d be an hour and a half wait. I waited an hour and a half outside being the quarantine laws and the car didn’t move. I left and went down to Samo who helped me immediately.

One of the worst experiences Ive ever had at a mechanic shop. Went in for my appointment at 11am and my car didnt end up on a lift until 2:30/3 pm. Just overall poor service. Seemed like the techs were more interested in other stuff than the cars. Everything seemed to be going extremely slow. The tires I got are nice though.

Very honest business. We had a flat tire and came to see if we can change it. The guy recommended to first go to the nearby auto repair and see instead of we can patch it up which we did for 50$ instead of buying a new tire for 500$. Saved us a lot and we would definitely recommend such service.

Took my Jeep in for a tire repair and left with them. said it would be 2 hrs. six hours later and after calling for updates 3 times i was told to come pick up. They never brought it up for me but instead had me go to back and drive it out of a tight parking space. These guys are pathetic and lazy!

Excellent service. Went in for tire rotation and oil change (got both for a great price) and then they called me to tell me there was a nail in my tire so they fixed that too (also for a great price). I knew something was wrong with the tire so I knew they werent lying to me or just trying to upsell me. Ive been ripped off so many times, Im thankful for their honesty, fair pricing and quick turn around! GREAT JOB AND THANK YOU! Ill be going back whenever I need my car serviced!

I have had my tire and tires changed here three times. Twice for a nail in my tire and once for a full tire change. The customer service was great. They were busy at the time, but managed to take care of me.

I will never buy anything firestone again. They were nice enuf when I purchased the tires but when I made an appointment to free rotate my tires they were not so happy to see me. First off it was an hour before they even got to me. Then it was a good thing I waited and watched because he began remounting one side without rotating them an I had to bring it to his attention. Then he stepped on or somehow smashed one of my hubcaps so it wont stay on and I have to buy a complete new set. They were very disrespectful. I was going to buy a firestone battery but now they will not get another penny from me.

These guys are great. Very friendly and helpful. Went here when my dustpan was dragging under my car, They explained that the holes where it is bolted up had rusted and broken in places and recommended that I go to a volvo dealer for them to order the inexpensive part.. they were nice enough to zip tie it up for me until I had time to get it to the dealer free of charge. They truly took care of me and did a great job for a good price when I got my oil change there. I highly recommend these guys they do a great job.

First of all, parking sucks. It’s nearly nonexistent. I made an appointment. The girl said they were going to pull it right in.I waited 1/2 hour listening to several employees talking and joking after checking in, so I spoke with the manager who informed me two guys were out sick and there was another vehicle in front of mine waiting as well.I called the Firestone on Santa Monica Blvd. and they were able to get me in in the next half hour that it took me to drive there.Common courtesy would have dictated the girl who checked me should have told me they were two people short and that there would be an hour wait just to get into the bay.

I never stepped foot inside a firstone went in to get a wheel alignment I was helped by Alex he said it was his first day, he was really friendly and knowledgeable. I paid $199.00 for the work and it has a LIFTIME WARRANTY. cant beat that.plus work only took 1 hour. excellent work Firestone. I will be returning.

Terrible service. The first time I went, they had me basically wait the entire day for my car. This most recent time, I came in for just an oil change and tire rotation. The guy in the morning said my car would be ready at 1230 (I came in at 9). I called around 4, since I was at work, and they told me that somebody was working on my car at the moment and that it would be ready in an hour and a half. I had a feeling that nobody was actually working on my car, so I went down to the office around 6pm and the guy told me my car was next in line, basically confirming that nobody had worked on it before. I was doubtful they would be able to get it done before they closed, so I went ahead and asked for my keys back and went to the place across the street, which got my car in immediately. I was burned twice and despite using Firestone for all my car needs before, Im going to be going elsewhere from now on.

Great place even though it took a little bit more time than expected. Management is good, waiting area is clean and the price was really good!

Everyone is complaining about wait time but that’s just how it is here - they are very busy guys but they do whatever they can to get you on the road and if they don’t answer the phone it’s simply because they are working on cars /talking to people. My Jeep has been to this location several times . I have never been overcharged. They found my axel seal busted which saved me but didn’t need changed right away- (my choice)they cleared grape juice out of my fuel tank by draining it and cleaning it - literally brought the Jeep back to life-new tires- ignition/key issues they use a good locksmith - they changed my belt pulley system all new - then I bought some new tires all four and they are great -they are honest and don’t need to upsell you - if they can’t do something specific they tell you straight forward very kind and understanding and they love cars just as much as you love yours - I could never take my Jeep anywhere else knowing that they really are the shop that cares about getting everyone back on the road safe and happy - thanks guys :)

Needed tires as mine were worn unevenly, replaced tires, without inspecting front end issue while adding 50,000 on invoice for my car mileage, had to correct them, brought car back for front end inspection, did not road test or inspect front end, but did charge me for inspection

And Im so happy I did.I called w a list of my problems and repairs needed, and Lucas fit me in the next day. Lucas is a professional + intuitive in the automotive field. He can determine what areas needs assessing and repaired. If you tell him that you have been having X problems, he + the staff will be able to pin-point Y cause.Lucas showed and explained in full detail the problems I had, and made suggestions on the best solutions for my car. I am very impressed.My Ram Promaster City drives like its brand new! A very smooth drive.And guys... be patient. They have alot of cars to work on. And they wanna make sure everything is done right when you drive out of the lot. They are worth the wait. (Theres a seating area w coffee and TV to keep you entertained). You can also walk down the street to Starbucks or FatBurger for a meal.Lucas and the Team have the education, experience, training & skills. I highly highly recommend Firestone. These guys took such good care of me gave me great service got me in and out in a timely manner with four new tires for new brakes and I didnt spend a lot of time there

Made an appointment for 1pm to get 4 tires installed. When I arrived I was told it would take 1-1/2 to 2 hours, about twice as long as I would expect. 2-1/2 hours later they still hadnt started work on my car. I was told it would be another 45 minutes. 45 minutes later and still nothing. Gave up on them and will be going somewhere else. Wasted my whole Saturday afternoon.

Awful place of businessSaid it would take 8 hours to get something fixed then said it would take 3 days. 3 days pass and they said they need another 3 days. Took a week for a very simple problem. Don’t recommend going here

I have never had car work done here, so I cant attest to their quality of work in that aspect.... but I recently needed a bike valve cover... so I dropped in there, the guy was super nice and helped me out! Thank you!

Just went there to check my flat tire to only fix or have some air around 3:45 pm on Sunday 02/10/2019 and the girl just treat as a nothing and told me to re-schedule for the next day, even a please ask her it’s not another close place to drive with a flat tire... very bad service and care about the customers. Very disappointed with firestone employees no professionalism .

Incredibly slow (and somewhat misleading) service. My battery change took 3.5 hours from start to finish. I was originally quoted 15 minutes, then 45-60, then just a little but longer at least 3 times.Story:I called ahead to make sure there wouldnt be a wait and the attendant said there wouldnt be a long wait and they could change out the battery personally in about 15 minutes. Upon arriving, they told me they would try charging it first for 45-60 minutes and that I could wait or comeback and that theyd call me when it was ready. This was already upsetting since it was never mentioned over the phone, but I left. Almost 2 hours later without a call, I call back and am told its almost ready. I take the 20 minute walk to the Firestone from my house. When I get there, the attendant calls the shop and says get started on the mazda (my car). 15 minutes later, I finally see someone walk to my car and It wasnt until another 30 minutes that they were finally ready.Only reason why this isnt 1 star is because at least the job got done.

Dishonest people!I went there with my car flat tire. At Firestone they tried to rip me off and told me that my tires could not be fixed and would have to buy a new one for $200.I didnt believe it and went looking for another place.I drove some blocks down on Lincoln And found another place that fixed my car tires for just $20.

Got new battery and alignment. Guys were polite and professional, answered my questions and provided recommendations without the pushy up sell.

There were two plus hours until closing and there was someone available to do a tire rotation, but simply chose not to. As much as I would normally push the issue, I would have preferred to just have quality service from Firestone.

They do a good job on tire related repairs abd service (tires, alignment and balancing) Ive never had anything else done there.

The mechanics here are extremely experienced, professional and keep you informed about repairs to your car. I suggest you bring your car here for repairs!!!

Im very hard on companies and usually review places that have left negative tastes in my mouth. But this firestone has shown unparalleled character. Long story short, had a problem, brought it back and they had a cheap way and an expensive way to resolve. Without an additional penny from me, they sided on the safe and honorable side at the businesses expense. I will trust this company from on out. Ask for Amber.. . Trust her with your children.

Do NOT go here! They are extremely over priced. Shop around and I guarantee that you will find a better pice. They lied and told me that the diagnostic would be covered by my warranty and it wasnt. They would not release my car until I paid them. I went to the dealer and it was covered under factory warranty.

Terrible customer service. Asked if they had a specific make tire in stock and the guy says, sure, let me go look waited over 15 minutes and the guy never comes back to the phone. I knew this was going to happen because he never bothered to ask the tire size.Buyer beware.... They just do not give a care about the customer.

These people are very unprofessional. I had my car there for two weeks in and out for them to fix the things they did wrong the first time.Took it there to inspect the tire that might have had a nail, dropped it off in the morning then called them at 5 pm only to find out they havent even looked at it. Then they finally told me I need new tires fine, I bought new tires from them. Then they told me I have another nail ok they patched it up, I picked it up drove a mile tire lamp went up, I had to take it back, they forgot to reset it(took all day for that). Then said I need break pads, I said fine, replace those, I picked up the car, the car started to make weird noice when I was breaking, they told new bring it in, I did at 8am, around 2pm they finally looked at it and now iam waiting for their call.... Again....auful service.

Got an oil change and a Santa Monica City parking ticket for $399.00 included with their service. When getting your car service here ask them not to park it in the handicap spot.

I called to PJ about flat tire, he said come over and ITS FREE! I was there and when he saw my Mercedes, he said No, this tire is not fixable and you need to buy a new one $260 + labor!!! I said this is not true!!! I dont know what they thought about people. DONT TRUST THEM.I went to PepBoys and they fix it $19.99 YES!
